The ball was great and Natsu did stay for the rest of it. Erza was on the dance floor for almost the whole night and she was really good at dancing though many of her partners felt sick after she spun then around like anything. It was quite funny to see Natsu passed out on the dance floor from motion sickness after Erza decided he would be her next partner. Everyone had fun and Gajeel performance was as bad as everyone said it was but at the same time I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole thing. Surprisingly there were no fights and I danced with so many people but not with Natsu to my disappointment. That night was strange for me. It was my first event as a member of Fairy Tail and I felt amazing, not trapped at all. I feared joining Fairy Tail for nothing. I saw that Jace wasn't there which just made my growing suspicion grow even more, no matter how much I wanted it to be a lie, the more I thought about it the more I saw at he really was hiding something and I had been completely oblivious to it until now but I was so happy that night that the terrible things that were to come in my near future didn't seem possible. At midnight we decided to leave and go home.

"Hey Kat, want to come on a job with us?" Asked Lucy a couple of days after the ball.
"What is it?"
"Just killing some monsters and getting paid for it. Shouldn't be too hard and we need the money because we have to pay rent soon."
"Yeah, that land lady is scary."
"Tell me about it. So you coming?"
"Yeah sure. Why not?" Then I saw Natsu and Happy came over.
"Kat you coming on the job?" He asked
"Yep."
"Cool, that makes this job even easier." Said Grey from behind me.
"Looks like Fairy Tail's strongest team just got even stronger." Said Erza who was next to Grey.
"Are you guys sure having 3 dragon slayers on one team is a good idea? I mean just Natsu is enough to send me overboard." Said Lucy.
"Hey." Shouted Natsu.
"You have a point, but they will have to keep it together." Said Erza. "We can't call ourselves the strongest team without Kat. She may be the most powerful in the whole guild."
"What? No way. I could take her on." Shouted Natus.
"You mean like the day when she kicked you ass and you didn't land a singal hit?"
"I have tole you before ice princess I was holding back that day."
"Didn't look like it to me flame brain." He said as they butted heads.
"Hey, Carla and I are coming too right?" Asked Wendy sweetly.
"Yes, or course you are." Said Erza. "Lucy says this won't be hard but this monster is supposed to have eaten a whole town of people, and taken down a powerful dark guild."
"Which dark guild?"
"It doesn't say, that's weird, you would have thought it would say." This gave me a bad feeling the moment she said it, my gut was telling me something was defiantly wrong.
"I have a bad feeling about this." I told them. "My gut is telling me something isn't right."
"Your gut?" Wendy asked.
"Yes, my gut is always right about almost everything. It told me that Macarov, I mean Master was coming for me. It told me that Lucy and Natsu were coming home after your 2 week job."
"We should take that into account, but maybe it gives us a bigger reason to go." Said Erza thoughtfully.
"Does you gut tell you what it wrong exactly?" Asked Wendy.
"No, so it could mean anything from they monster is huge and we will get hurt or that we might die. Either way nothing good."
"Whatever it is Fairy Tail's strongest team can take it." Said Natsu from behind me.
"So you guys have decided to stop fighting and join the convocation." Said Lucy.
"I agree. We should still go but we need to be careful. The mayor of the next village is paying good money to have it killed." Said Erza.
"We will go home and pack now." Said Lucy taking my hand.
"We will leave this afternoon. If we are lucky we can be back by tomorrow lunch time." She said as Lucy and I began to make our way back to the apartment, even though my gut was still telling me we were making a huge mistake.
