The next morning Lucy and I were woken up by Natsu and Happy breaking inti the apartment again. You would have thought that by now I would be used to it but I wasn't really. I was eating breakfast and reading my new book when Lucy came down chasing a slightly scared looking Natsu.
"Oh morning Kat." He said.
"Morning Natsu, Happy." I replied returning ti eating my breakfast and reading me book. Natsu sat opposite me and Happy stood on the table. Lucy was still ranting about Natsu and Happy being rude and not breaking into the apartment again.
"So, this ball then." Began Natsu rather shyly. This immanently got my attention. Was he going to ask? No, he couldn't I was going with Grey.
"Yeah? What about it?" I asked him not looking up from my book.
"Well, I heard that Lucy was going with Loke."
"Yeah she is, I was there when he asked her."
"I also heard you were going with Grey. Is that true?"
"Yeah." He jumped up.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, what are you so hyped up about?"
"That jerk actually asked you?"
"What? Is it really that shocking I was asked?" He grunted.
"No, of course not but he knows."
"Knows what?"
"Oh, nothing. I have to go." He said already heading out the door.
"What was that about?" I asked Happy.
"I have a pretty good idea." He stopped there and didn't say anything else even though I expected him too.
"Are you going to tell me?"
"You're smart you can work it out." Then he flew off after Natsu.
"Well thanks for the compliment anyway." I said quietly.
"Where is that jerk?"
"He just left." Lucy stopped dead in her tracks.
"What really? What did you say?"
"Nithing, he asked me if I really was going to the ball with Grey and I said yes, then he stormed of saying Grey knows and that he was a jerk." Lucy smiled at me. "What now?"
"He really does love you." I stood up.
"Don't be ridiculous Lucy. This is Natsu we are talking about here." I said starting to go up the stairs to get dressed.
"But you like him, no?" Lucy called after me.
"Honestly I have no idea how I feel about that pink haired fire dragon."

Lucy and I walked to the guild after we were dressed. I was surprised to see that not many people were actually there in the guild hall today. Before we even got there we heard the sound of Natsu and Grey's voices. There sounded like the were arguing yet again, they had there heads butted together and they didn't even see us come in they were and I was surprised to hear that they were arguing about me.
"Why did you ask her?" Shouted Natsu
"Because she is my friends and I want to go with her."
"But I wanted to go with her."
"Well I didn't see you asking her anytime soon."
"But you know."
"That's got nothing to do with it. I asked her first deal with it."
"You're only going with her to get away from Juvia."
"So what if I am she knows and is fine with it."
"But it's nit fair on her. She should go with someone who actually wants to go with her."
"What like you, who couldn't even find the courage to ask her."
"So I was a little slow off the bat but you didn't have to steal her from me."
"I stole nothing it was free for all. First that asked her got her, you'r just jealous."
"I'll get you back for this stripper."
"Bring it on flame brain." I was frozen completely shocked by what I was seeing. Lucy was looking from me back to Natsu and Grey.
"Morning guys." Shouted Lucy. They stopped and looked over at us. They both saw me and their faces went bright red. I was still frozen in couldn't move. Happy came flying over until he was right in front of my face blocking my view of Grey and Natsu.
"What's wrong Kat?" Then Mira came over from behind the ball.
"She's fine. Just in shock, I guess she has never been fought over by boys before." She said smiling. This snapped me out of my shock.
"Hey, you're back." Said Happy.
"I'm fine I just need some air." I said before walking out of the guild hall.
