2 weeks. 2 weeks I waited and not a word from them. I was so worried. A lot changed while they were gone. Jace and I became closer though I told him I wanted to be a friend nothing more or less. He understood but said he was a little disappointed. I missed Lucy and the apartment felt empty and lonely without her. My job was good and it had good pay so I often went to the bookstore and the clothes shops to look at the beautiful clothes they always had for sale. Erza was out on a job so I often talked to Jace, Wendy, Carla and Grey, though when I did talk to him I got hateful glares from Juvia. They all told me not to worry but they were gone for so long how could I nit worry?

I got stronger everyday too. I slowly felt the magic power returning to me. Macarov told me to practise everyday and I did but at first it felt strange because I hadn't used it in so long. I had to really think about the training I had with Annabenlinda but I practised hard and soon the movement became second nature again and I did the them with little thought. I practised at night so the others in the guild didn't see me using the other elements and it was good because I couldn't sleep after my nightmares anyway. They were getting worse because Lucy wasn't there and it was lonely when I woke up and she wasn't sleeping in her bed either.

When the day came that they were coming back it was a Saturday and I was sat at the guild hall because I didn't have to work. I was sat at the bar in the guild hall when I felt it. My gut was telling me they were coming home, that they were close. I was overjoyed and I left the guild hall and ran to the train station where sure enough a train was pulling up. There were a lot of people there on the platform clearly waiting for friends and family to come off the train like me. I stood on a pillar so that I could see everything. I searched for them in the crowd but I couldn't see them. I tried to sniff them out but there were too many people and new smells that my nose was being slightly overloaded. I waited until nearly the while platform was empty apart from an old lady and her dog. I was sad that my gut was wrong. It was always right before, I was about to leave but a strong gust if wind picked up and with it I smelt them. I looked around and I saw Happy flying out of the train followed by Lucy who was carrying a very sick looking Natsu. I ran up to them and Lucy heard me coming. She smiled at me when she saw me.
"Hi Kat!" She said. When I got there I gave her a hug.
"I missed you." I told her.
"I missed you too." She said. I pulled away.
"Hi Happy."
"Hey, have you got any fish on you I am starving." I laughed then Natsu fell to the ground.
"Oh, sorry Natsu. You are just so heavy." Said Lucy.
"I will carry him." I told her.
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yeah a lot has changed since I was you last. I have become a lot stronger."
"Yeah I can tell. I can sense the magic energy coming of you, can't you Happy?"
"Aye." He replied. I picked up Natsu and placed his arms around my neck so I could carry him more easily.
"Yeah, I have been practising my magic too." I told her as I started to follow her towards the guild hall.
"Hi..." I heard faintly behind me,
"Hi Natsu." I said smiling to myself.
"So, Kat how did you date go?" As soon as she said this I felt Natsu's whole body tense.
"Good but we decided to stay friends." I told her and I felt Natsu relax a little. Lucy didn't push the subject which I was thankful for.

When we git back to the guild everyone was happy to see them. I set Natsu down and got him some fire to eat knowing it would make him feel better. After a while Natsu was looking better.
"So, Kat how come you don't get motion sickness?" I was shocked that he seemed in a bad mood with me before he left but now it is like that never happened.
"I don't know." I answered him. "I prefer to be on solid ground but motion sickness doesn't really effect me."
"Hey man, where have you been?" I heard Grey's voice say from behind me.
"We went on a monster killing job in the high mountains."
"But did you have to be gone for so long? Kat here was worried sick about you." I blushed slightly at Grey's words. Natsu was staring at me with a pleased expression.
"Really? You were?" He asked me.
"You don't have to seem so please she was really worried about you." Said Grey. I really wanted him to stop and I sent him a side ways glare which I know he saw but he shrugged it off and left. Then Makao and Wakaba came over too us.
"So when are we going tk see this fight then?" Makao asked.
"What fight?" I asked.
"The fight Natsu challenged you too and you said you would fight him when you were better." Natsu jumped up from his chair.
"Oh yeah. I forgot." Natsu said sounding excited.
"It's not like Natsu to forget about a fight." I heard Wakaba say to Makao in a hushed tone.
"And you said you had been training." Natsu shouted pointing at me and getting the whole guild's attention. "Well good because you are going to need it."
"I wouldn't get to cocky Natsu." Makao warned.
"Yeah, this girl practical radiates magic energy." Wakaba said. I stood up from my chair calmly well ware that everyone was watching.
"Fine, outside, this afternoon, but be prepared to get your ass handed to you because I will not lose." I said rather threateningly at the end. I then turned on my heels and walked out of the guild hall, leaving a stunned looking Natsu and the rest if the guild laughing...
