The next day went quickly. I got up early so that I wasn't late for the start of my new job and was a little shocked to see that Natsu and Hally were no where to be found. Lucy was happy about though I was a little disappointed if I was honest. My job was good and I loved the people that I was working with. They were all great. Eventually the day was over and I returned to the house to finish getting ready. I found Lucy wasn't there but on her bed I found a beautiful dress with a nite attached to it. The note said...

Hey Kat,
I am so sorry about ditching you on your big night but Natsu said he wanted to go on a job and we need the money so I have to go. I don't know when we will be back, it seems Natsu is still in a bad mood but don't worry we will be okay. I went to the shops before we went though and got you this cute dress. Hope you like it.

After reading the note I sighed. It seems I really upset Natsu, and I wanted to make it better but I like Jace. I know I hadn't known him long but he seemed like a nice guy and the amount if times I have been lied to in the past I have come to see through lies quiet easily, and Jace wasn't lying ti me yesterday when he said those things. I slipped on the drees and carefully brushed my hair. I was barely finished when I heard some one knock on the door. I opened it to find Jace there wearing black suit trousers, a white shirt that looked good with his blond platinum hair and a smart black tie. He looked me up and down which made me blush as well as feel a little uncomfortable.
"You look beautiful." He said smiling at me. I blushed again.
"You look very nice too." I told him.
"Thank you. Now shall we?" He said holding his my out for me to take. I hooked my arm in his before walking down through Mongolia with the sunlight slowly fading behind us.
"So, where are we going?" I asked him.
"All will be revealed soon." He said with a smirk.

Jace took me too the other side of town where we found a very grand looking building.
"This is it." He said gesturing to the building before us.
"Wow." I said.
"Glad you like it. This is the best restaurant in Mongolia. Very hard ti get a reservation in."
"But you managed it?" He laughed.
"You don't need to sound to surprised."
"Sorry." I apologised.
"No, it is fine. The owner of the restaurant posted a job in the guild hall and I took it. Said if I ever wanted to eat in his restaurant he would love to have me. I have never taken him up on the offer before tonight."
"Why not?"
"I guess I have never found anyone I like enough to ask on a date." He said smiling at me. I blushed again. "I think I should keep track of how many times I can make you blush tonight." I laughed.
"I am quickly releasing that isn't hard to do."
"I think it is cute." He said quietly. This made my already red face go even redder. He laughed then opened the door for me to go through before following me in.

Over dinner Jace and I discussed many things. I learnt a lot about him. He said he had lived in Mongolia his whole life. He told me his mother got sick easily and eventually died when he was eight. He said his Father blamed her death on him because it was after he was born she started getting sick. Then when he was 10 he found Fairy Tail and decided to join. His Father didn't agree with his choice but he didn't back down. His Father had had enough of him and kicked him out if the house but he was okay because he had a home at Fairy Tail. He said it was the one place he didn't fell ignored and neglected. He always tried to go back and see his Father though his Father didn't want anything to do with him. His Father died 2 years ago and Jace said he has always felt a little bad for what happened, to which I told him he shouldn't and there was nothing he could have done.

When we finished dinner Jace walked me back home but on the way back he brought some red roses. They smelled lovely and it again made my checks go the same colour as the roses.
"Roses." He said whilst handing them to me." The most romantic flower you can buy." When we were home I unlocked the door and turned around to say goodnight.
"Thank you for a lovely evening, Jace." I said smiling.
"Thank you for agreeing to come with me. You made and otherwise dull evening one of the best." This made me blush. "Ahh, the blush count." He paused and thought for a moment. "I believe that we are up to 15." I laughed.
"That's embarrasing."
"No, I like the fact I can make you blush. It makes my day. Well, I will hopefully see you tomorrow if you are not to busy working, that is." He smiled and opened his mouth to say something more but I stopped him.
"Wait Jace, I have to ask you something."
"Ask away."
"Yesterday when you asked me out. Natsu got really weird did anything happen between you two?"
"Good question." He paused. "Not that I know of. Natsu and I have never been great friends but I would consider him a friend and I have talked with him often in the past. I am often out on jobs see and I am hardly ever around in the guild. Yesterday was weird and I just hope that whatever I did to make him so angry will come to the surface so that I might make it right." I nodded.
"I was just wondering. Well, goodnight Jace." 
"Goodnight Kat." He said before turning on his heels and disappearing into the night. I was very said to find the apartment empty. I took a hot bath to try and clear my mind a little not that it helped. I wondered around the empty apartment trying hard not to focus on the fact that it was so empty, until I eventually felt tired enough to fall asleep, and that is when the nightmares came again...
