Prince Kalden is the 4th prince of Malyr. The crown prince is a learned man and a great warrior. He is a strong willed person and willing to go hook or crook to get what he wants. He understands everything that happens in the inner palace but he has to maintain being a fair king and husband to all. He was considered one of the most successful kings of the Dynasty.

The chief consort of prince, belonging to an undeniably strong and influential background. Chosen by the family of the prince, she manipulates passive politics, viewing the palace as her chess board and controlling people at her will. Yet, behind her facade of control, lies the jealousy towards her husband's desire (preference) for another.

Usri Saikia (reserved)

The childhood friend and lover of Prince Kalden. Noble consort Usri is from one of the strongest clan Saikia. Many former queens of Sonowal Dynasty were from this clan. Sadly they are not as powerful now. She is the first choice of the king to be the official wife. She is smart, well trained in politics and diplomacy. She is very much in love with The Prince.

She was from a mid to higher clan. She was gifted to the Prince by his father. Soft hearted good natured woman who cares for everyone. The prince respects her to be an honest soul. She takes pity on everyone who faces trouble.

Noble consort Viha is the daughter of the prime minister of Malyr. Pampered child with privileged childhood. She wants to be the only one her husband loves. Somewhat it is true as well. To keep peace in the court the prince usually avoids trouble with this wife.

The princess of Bikrampur (present day Dhaka). The most beautiful woman of the inner palace. Straight forward. Sharp tongue. Strong family. She has the power of her maiden clan which helps her escape some situations easily. She has one goal to become as powerful as possible to gain glory for her maiden clan.

Kurak Yumkham

Concubine Yum is from a powerful clan with who the Sonowal Dynasty make marriage alliences. Making her one of the most important woman in the palace. She is righteous. Straight forward and thoughtful.

She is a sewing maid and childhood friend of consort Usri. Prince Kalden knows her since childhood. She is from a lower clan, which is inbetween tribals and higher class. Calm and gentle.

Gairi Rabha

Concubine Rabha is the daughter of the tribe leader who are famous for warrior. She is a warrior herself saved king's life more than once. She is a high temperament person with a clear conscience.

Ibelei Sonowal

Affectionately dubbed "Mahangi" (one from Mahang region ) by the prince, he is a calm and kind-hearted advisor. He is also known as Mahangi Rehon(Rehon of Mahang). Despite his sharp political insights, he aids those with good intentions. Handpicked by the prince, he subtly influences royal decisions, earning favor as the prince's most trusted confidant.

Rubrat Yumnam

He was a junior doctor who by the grace and help of kind-hearted people rose to the level of being the most trusted physician. He have some friends who are from the same native place as him. He tried to help them.

Athoy Sanoujam
