After an hour of just listening to music I heard the front door slam shut. "Mom? Dad?" I asked while going to the top of stairs and looking down. It was pure silence. Where did they need to go at this time of night. They obviously didn't go out to get food and we didn't need any groceries. I'm guessing that there's currently a sacrifice going on. The others probably knew that something was happening, especially if their parents had just left out of the blue. I was a bit hungry so I went to get something to eat, I couldn't be asked to cook or whatever so I just got out a box cereal and just ate it. I was getting a phone call so I answered it.

"Go for Y/n." I said with a smile before putting a handful of cereal in my mouth.

"Y/n it's Molly." She said to me, she sounded upset.

"Molly, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I asked her worriedly.

"It's the Yorkes' there trying to send me away." She said to me, I almost choked on my cereal.

"Is Gert trying to send you away as well? Why are they trying to send you away?" I asked her all at once.

"No Gert found out when I did. They're trying send me to find out more about my parents but it's because they know that I saw what happened. I have to go I'll call you later." She said to me.

"Okay, call me if you need anything." I said to her before she hung up. I needed to help her, this was her worst thing happen to her after her parents. They tossed her out like trash. She didn't deserve this and I would try to help her out of this situation in anyone that I could. I started to text Karolina to ask if her mom was still there, but she was. So it wasn't a PRIDE sacrifice. I told her that mine we're gone. My phone started ringing and it was Chase. I answered it immediately. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked him while answering the phone.

"I'm definitely not okay but my dad's even worse. I'm hurt and he's hurt. Can you just come over I don't want to be alone." He said to me, I looked at the front window of the house.

"Of course, as long as your okay, I'll be okay." I said to him while getting my house keys.

"Actually don't come over, I don't want to get you involved in anything." He said before hanging up, I immediately messaged Karolina and she told me that Chase called her before me and ended with the exact same thing. She told me that she called Nico, which was a good thing. I quickly put on a pair of manageable pair of heeled boots before walking out the door and running to Chase's house. When I made it to his house, I knocked on his door and he answered. "I thought I told you not to come." He said to me.

"Well your my boyfriend and what you tell me I'm going to do the complete opposite." I told him while hugging him, I followed him to I'm guessing where he was before. I noticed that he had a few cuts.

"I'm fine." He said to me, with a fake smile. I don't think he was fine. I knew that for a fact.

"You can tell me anything. Please just remember that." I said to him while kissing his cheek.

"I need to get something to drink." He said before going downstairs. I waited a few minutes before walking out of his room. I saw Karolina. We both ran downstairs together. Chase had Frank Dean up against the wall.

"We've got this." Karolina said to all of us.

"Karolina?" Chase asked confusedly. We ran over to him.

"Chase, you're hurt. Why don't you go back up to your room, okay? Gert's waiting for you. I'll be up in a second. Y/n make sure he gets up there." Karolina told us. I nodded and held Chase's hand.

"Listen, there will be no funny business. Because yes I may be able get another boyfriend but I won't be able to get another Chase Stein. And I understand that you're worried about your dad but for now you need to focus on yourself." I told his reassuringly. He looked at me and nodded.

"Okay." He said to me and Karolina.

"Okay. Come on." Karolina said as we both walked him over to the staircase. We walked up the stairs together and I walked him over to his room.

"This night has been so weird." He said while leaning against his wall.

"Every nights weird." I said to him with a smile. He started walking over to his plant which only had one solo leaf left. I followed him and wrapped my arm around his. He looked off to the side and so did I. We both so Gert's dino which started roaring at us. Chase grabbed his Lacrosse stick.

"Holy shit! Y/n, Gert, look out!" Chase said while raising his stick up, that wouldn't do anything.

"Chase, chill. Also, lacrosse sticks are not the cure-all for everything." Gert said while petting her Dino. I bet she thought that she was better than me but at least I was born with powers.

"That thing already tried to kill us!" Chase told her in a raised voice, that was very tue.

"She listens to me and protects me, which means if I say so, she protects us." Gert said to us.

"Thanks for saying that Gert but I'm pretty sure that I can protect myself." I said flashing her a fake smile. Chase lowered his lacrosse stick.

"Hey..." He said while sticking his hand out. "Hey..." He said again, the creature quietly roared at him making Chase gasp.

"Okay, you know, maybe I should just do the touching." Gert said, I nodded. She petted it again.

"Got it." Chase said to her.

"I didn't even plan on touching her." I said with a nod. It had been ages since I'd been in Chase's room, I didn't look any different. Everything was where it used to be. He sat down on his bed and I sat next to him. I wrapped my arm around Chase and snuggled into him. That was something Gert couldn't do. I could see her glaring at me but it didn't bother me in the slightest. We all talked, I got a message from Alex.

"Who is it?" Chase asked me as a sat up.

"It's just Nico." I said to him with a smile. There was a knock at Chase's door.

"Honey are you still awake?" Mrs. Stein said while knocking on his door, me, Karolina and Gert hid in his bathroom. Karolina had come up a few minutes ago. While we were in there I received a text from Alex. I read it out for the others.

"Did Alex say anything else?" Gert whispered to me.

"No, but Nico is currently over there now." I said to them in a hushed tone.

"How's Dad? Is he alive?" Chase asked his mom, I was hoping for Chase's sake that he was.

"PRIDE's taking care of him. He's been given great care...exceptional care, so I don't want you to worry." Mrs. Stein told Chase, what were they doing down there.

"When Dad gets better...I really want another chance with him, you know? What do you think?" Chase asked his mom, I hope he got that chance.

"I think he would love that." She replied before leaving, once the coast was clear we exited the room we were in.

"Way to front to your mom. Alex texted us. We have to go." Gert said to him. Karolina and Gert left the room.

"Chase, if you don't want to go I'll stay with you I'm sure they will understand. Also if you want me to I can stay here tonight so you're not alone but that's only if you want me to." I said to him with a smile.

"No, I'll come with you guys. And yes, it would be great if you stayed tonight." He said to me. He stood up and we both left his house before getting into Karolina's car and heading to the café. We got out the car and shut the doors behind us. We all walked closer to Alex.

"Got it all right here, all the proof we need to put 'em away forever. Where are we sending it first?" Alex said while holding up his laptop, I was hoping to just send it everywhere.

"We don't. There's so much that we don't understand. Too much. And now, if something happens to PRIDE, my dad dies. This video can't get out." Chase said, I never thought about it in that way. This video couldn't get out now.

"I agree." Karolina said to us.

"So do I." I said to them all,

"You do? Since when?" Gert asked us both.

"Since I spoke to my dad, and I think he could help us." Karolina said to us. Gert looked at me.

"Since I realized how much was a stake here." I said to her.

"Well, if Frank Dean is our only hope, we are way more screwed than I realized." Gert said to us, she was negative all the time and I hated it.

"You three want to back out now?" Nico asked us, I gave her my 'no' look, she then understood why I said what I said.

"No. No way. Alright, we've come too far. If you guys don't want to go through with it, fine, the rest of us will." Alex said to us, Chase lunged in front of Alex.

"Give me the laptop!" He said to Alex.

"Not you choice, Chase." Alex said while pushing Chase back. I didn't like where this was going.

"Wilder, I can't let you do this." Chase said to him calmly.

"It's not up to you!" Alex said back to Chase. Chase head butted him and Alex fell to the ground. The laptop flew out of his arms.

"Chase, calm down." I said to him. I knew something like this would happen.

"Hey. Hey! Hey!" Gert said trying to stop anything else from happening.

"What's wrong with you?" Nico asked. I saw the laptop land behind Chase.

"Nico? Stop, guys!" Karolina said to them. Alex stood up and the continued to fight.

"Guys, stop it!" I shouted at them.

"Are you kidding me?" Nico asked after Chase punched Alex.

"Alex...guys!" Gert shouted at them, Alex managed to push Chase off him. Chase was banged up against the car,

"Guys, quit it!" I shouted at them, but nothing.

"Guys, no!" Karolina said to them.

"Guys, stop!" Nico told them. "What are you doing?" She asked them, I heard the dinosaur start growling or whatever in the back.

"Chase! No, no, no! Chase!" Nico said, I only just noticed that Chase had the laptop in his hands and was about to smash it. We all started shouting at him.

"Chase, don't do this!" I shouted at him.

"Don't! Chase, no!" Nico said but chased tossed it down on the group with force. It shattered into pieces.

"Chase!" We all shouted at him. He started to stamp on it, making sure that it was completely broken.

"The hell are you doing?!" Alex shouted, me and Karolina held him back. This was a nightmare. "Hey, Chase, goddamn it!" Alex added. Nothing would be able to stop Chase.

"Are you kidding me! What's wrong with you?" Nico shouted at him, Chase looked at all of us.

"I'm sorry." Chase said to us. I couldn't tell is he was or not all I knew was that tonight was a complete mess.
