"Nico it'll be ok. Alright we'll find him." I told her. She called him again and like before it went to voicemail.

"Alex, I-I don't know if you'll even get this, but just- - if you do, just call me, okay? I-." She said hanging up the phone. Karolina was just pacing around in parking lot. "I don't even know what to say." She told us.

"What if it was my church? What if they figured out that we got those files on all those kids? No, no, please don't tell me that everything is gonna be okay. My mom is a murderer. All of our parents are murderers." Karolina told us she started welling up in tears.

"Hey." Nico said pulling us into a group hug. Karolina started crying, I felt bad for her but we had to stay strong. We pulled away after a minute. "The only way to figure this out is to stick together. But right now, we just need to get Alex back." Nico told us.

"Right now, we need to be strong for Alex, he would want us to find him without tears." I told her.

"Okay?" Nico asked Karolina for reassurance. We heard the sound of a car getting parked so we looked. It was Molly and Gert. "You ready to go?" Nico asked them.

"Where are we going? We have no clue where Alex is." Gert told us. That's when Nico pulled out her staff. "Did you steal that from your mom?" Gert asked her in a hushed tone.

"You're in trouble." Molly said to us.

"You think it can help us?" Karolina asked Nico. I hope I can because Alex was the one that brought us back together, without him we would never know our parents were killers.

"I'm counting on it." Nico told us, she made something click. She started grunting. That's when the circle part of it lit up. "Show us the way to Alex." She told it, we all stood there staring at her. I was hoping it was going to work.

"So much for the magical Wiccan proclamations." Gert said. I turned to look at her.

"Trust me it will work. So shut up." I told her before turning back to look at Nico. That's when the circle lit up again showing white strands of what looked like electricity. "Told you." I said to Gert. The circle turned red and projected a line which was red, purple, blue and white. It was taking us to Alex.

"What is that thing?" Karolina asked confusedly.

"I don't know, but I think I'm in love." Nico said like she was in a trance, the light vanished.

"The lights are pretty, but how is this helping?" Molly asked us.

"I think it's the heat signature of the car that took Alex. Yeah, the staff is trying to lead us to him." Nico told us thinking of the logic behind it.

"I'll drive." Karolina said out loud, at least I was doing the driving.

"Wait! Hold on a second. I am all for the idea of rescuing Alex, but we have no clue what we're going up against." Gert said to us. What's the worst that can happen. I'm all for taking risks.

"It could be my church." Karolina said.

"Or the cops. Alex, Y/n and I found our parents were paying off the police." Nico said to us.

"Okay, so, just so I understand, we're either gonna be facing off against Gibborim enforcer types or a corrupt branch of the LAPD..." Gert said giving our options.

"Could just be generic kidnappers." Molly said but no one heard her.

"...with no weapons and no plans." Gert continued.

"We have the staff and each other." Nico told her.

"Plus, like I keep telling you guys, I'm really, really strong!" Molly told them,

"Molly, not now! What about Chase? I sent him, like, a million texts, but he hasn't answered any of them. Shouldn't he be here?" Gert told us, it was sad that she thought she had a chance with him. At the end of the day me and Chase were dating again.

"We'll keep trying him on the way, but we can't lose Alex." Nico told him as she walked around the car. I opened the car door by using my new found powers.

"You see we also have Y/n's telekinetic powers. So with her powers and my strength. We don't need Chase." Molly said once she got in the car.

"Y/n call your boyfriend. Maybe he'll answer it if it's from you." Nico said to me after Gert's attempt failed. I tried it but it went straight to voicemail.

"I'm sorry but your dating Chase again." Gert told me.

"What about it." I told her with a glare.

"You two can you stop arguing. So what Y/n is dating Chase again it isn't that big of a deal." Nico said. Karolina started driving on highway, she was speeding.

"We need to slow down, okay?" Gert told Karolina.

"I don't want to lose Alex!" Karolina replied back to her.

"We'll lose him if we crash!" Gert shouted at her. "It's not just about swerving, it's about crashing. It's not about how sick I feel, but it's also a little bit about how sick I feel." She added.

"This kind of reminds of Magic Mountain or Six." Molly said before laughing.

"Karolina, are you checking your blind spots?" Gert asked her seriously. Karolina looked in the mirror.

"Karolina please try not to kill us or anyone." I told her. Gert's phone started ringing it was Chase. She answered.

"I'm with everyone. We need your assistance to save Alex from some unidentified abductors. There's a lot of insanity going on, but we'll get to that later. Right now just get in your car and I'm gonna send you our GPS address, okay? Cool. See you then. Bye!" Gert told Chase on the phone. I don't think he even got a chance to speak. "Relax, bro. Help is on the way." She told Karolina. Karolina had no desire to slow down the car I don't think. We drifted around the corner which caused Gert and Molly to shriek. "That is, if you don't kill us first." Gert told her.

"Karolina, you're doing great." Nico told her for reassurance.

"Thank you." Karolina said in return.

"This is kind of fun." Molly said before laughing.

"If you want I can take you drifting." I said to Molly.

"That would be amazing." She replied back to me with a smile, Karolina continued to drive like a maniac.

"How much further is he away from us?" I asked Nico.

"He's there." Nico said. Someone had a gun pointed at his head. "That-that-that guy has a gun to Alex's head." Nico added while watching what was happening.

"The odds of surviving a confrontation seem increasingly slim." Gert told us, if we wanted to know that we could just use Wikipedia.

"I'm not abandoning Alex." Nico said to her.

"But we have no chance!" Gert told her.

"I say we do." Nico told Gert.

"We are not abandoning Alex, end of subject." I told them.

"Karolina, go!" Nico said. That's when we started trailing the car Alex was in, when we stopped at a red light Nico unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Wait, stop!" Gert shouted at her.

"No, Nico!" Karolina shouted.

"Don't do this!" I shouted at Nico.

"Get off of me!" Nico said before opening the car door and getting out.

"What is she doing?" Gert asked, it was so obvious.

"Stopping him?" Karolina said giving an answer.

"Trying to get Alex back?" I said giving my answer which seemed more likely. "Excuse me Gert." I said she moved out my way and I climbed into Nico's seat.

"Where are you going?" Karolina asked me.

"To help Nico." I said before getting out. Nico had her staff out. I stood next to her.

"What are you doing?" She asked me.

"I'm helping you." I told her, she clicked the staff.

"Engine off." She said. "Deactivate!" She said desperately. Gert was telling us to come back, but Molly ran out. I'm guessing she was helping us. I focused on the car and I made sure that it wasn't going to move, and if it was to move. It would be going backwards.

"Let me." Molly said. She lifted the car up and at the same time I was lifting it. The people that were in the car got out.

"Hey!" One of them called with a gun in hand. I'm guessing he was the leader. "What in the hell?" He said towards me and Molly.

"No!" Nico cried out. I saw Alex, he was okay. My vision was starting to get blurry so I decided to release my hold of the car. Karolina took her bracelet off and started shooting rays of light out of her hands. "Alex, run!" Nico called out to him. I dropped the car as Alex ran over to us. When Alex made it over Molly let go of the car.

"You have superpowers, too?" Molly asked Karolina.

"Yo, yo man." I heard one of the guys shout. I noticed some of them were running away.

"I can't hold this much longer." Nico said to us. Karolina put her bracelet back on. I had a migraine but it was stronger. I put my hand on my head.

"Y/n are you alright?" Alex asked me, taking notice that I was in pain.

"Yeah, I just have a migraine from using my powers." I said to him.

"That was cute. Y'all little kids best stand down." The guy said to us, Gert joined us. I heard a call pull up and I was really hoping that it was Chase. "Got the whole gang together, huh?" He asked us. Chase ran over and used his fistigons to shoot the man away.

"What is happening right now?" Gert asked us, I didn't have an answer either.

"I think we're kicking ass." Nico said to us.

"And we're looking good while doing it." I said to her as we all did high fives. Something happened to Chase and he just sort of flipped.

"Chase!" I said before going to help him up.

"Nah, nah! This ain't how it's about to go down." The guy who took Alex said to us. He was approached us and we barely had anyone to go except from the cars.

"Protect us!" Nico said to the staff. He pointed two guns at us and started firing them. But we were safe. The barrier protected us. He gave up and retreated to his car before driving off.

"You think you can stop him with another shot?" Alex asked us.

"I doubt it." Chase said to him.

"I bet Molly and Y/n can." Gert said to us, I was still recovering from my migraine and Molly was sleeping.

"How about we just call it a night." Nico said to us. "Shield off." She said deactivating the barrier around us.

"That sounds great. Maybe then my migraine will be gone. Besides I don't know if I can use my powers again." I said to them. I was hoping that they would be able to understand.

"I'll catch up with you guys later." Alex said to us before running away.

"Wait! Alex, wait!" Nico shouted at him but he didn't hear us.

"Should we go after him?" Gert said to us.

"Of course we should but what do we about Molly we can't exactly wake her." I said to them. We had decided what we were going to do, we were going to let Alex do what he needed to do so we went to the little café that Nico was at. I had to get a water to try and help my migraine.

"Molly and Y/n, you were such a badasses." Chase said to us with a smile.

"So were you." Molly said to him with a smile.

"Unfortunately me being a badass comes with a price of pain." I said with a light laugh.

"I still can't get over those lights!" Nico told Karolina.

"And your staff!" Karolina said to her.

"How are you feeling now?" Chase asked me.

"I'm feeling a little better seeming as my migraine is wearing off but other than that I feel ok." I said to him reassuringly. Alex ran over to the table we were sat at.

"Alex!" Molly said upon seeing him.

"Whoa, you're okay." Karolina said to him.

"Guys, we have a problem." He said to us, not another one.

"What are you talking about? We got you back." Nico said to him confusedly.

"Yes, and now we have to save someone else. His name's Andre, he was with the men who kidnapped me." Alex said to us, this wasn't worth the risk.

"So why would we help him?" Chase asked him confusedly.

"He was just following orders." He said to him.

"But that doesn't matter if he was following orders or not he still kidnapped you." I said to him, still not being able to see the point.

"And isn't that what the Nazis said?" Gert said to him getting a look from Karolina.

"He's the same age as us, and I think our parents are about to do to him what they did to Destiny. We have to stop them." He said to us, we couldn't stop them though. Did he not understand that.

"Are you nuts? We almost got shot back there, and now you want us to risk our lives for some guy that we don't even know?" Chase asked him in a lowered voice. If people heard us they must've thought we were crazy.

"Do we even have a plan?" Karolina asked him. If there wasn't a plan I wasn't going to do it.

"The plan is making sure no more kids die." Alex said to us, that still wasn't enough.

"Alex, we need to take a beat here, okay? Many of us have just exhibited superhuman abilities after learning that there may be a Chinatown- level conspiracy run by our parents. My head is exploding." She told Alex, she had a fair point. She noticed that Molly was napping. "Molly, how can you take a nap right now?" She asked her as Molly woke up.

"You try lifting an SUV with your bare hands. It's exhausting! At least you guys finally got to see what I can do. I've been trying to tell you for forever." Molly said to us with a smile. I had always believed that she had powers.

"Yes, Moll, we finally believe you, but- -" Alex said before Molly cut him off.

"Oh, and speaking of superpowers? Gert has a dinosaur that she can order around." Molly said getting a certain look from Gert. We all looked at her.

"Are you serious? What?" Nico said before laughing.

"It's insane." Molly added.

"And kind of awesome." Chase said with a smile.

"And it's always breathtaking as well." I said with a smile.

"You never said anything about Gert having a dinosaur." Karolina said to Chase.

"I kept quiet about your lights." Chase said to Karolina.

"Okay, yeah, I probably should've told you guys, but I was just worried you'd think I was a freak." Karolina said making me smile.

"Nothing says freak more than being able to move stuff with your mind." I said making her smile.

"I think we're all scoring pretty high on the freak-o-meter tonight. My family heirloom is a magic staff-slash-wand. No matter what we are, Alex is right. We can't let our parents keep getting away with this stuff. We weren't able to save Destiny." Nico said to us, I hated that she was right.

"Maybe we can safe Andre. I mean we have to at least try." He said to us, we all nodded our heads in agreement. And without we left the quiet café to go to Alex's house. We went to the library only to find the worst news out.

"The coasters don't work anymore." Alex told us while leaning on the desk. Molly looked at us with a smile.

"I got it." She said to us before making her way to the door. We all looked at her with a smile. She opened the door for us and we all ran down the stairs. I was wearing heels again so I had to run down them carefully, I didn't feel like falling on my face. We ran across the eerie walkway and looked over the edge like we did last time.

"They should be here. Why aren't they here?" I said looking down at the empty opening.

"I don't get it. Where are they?" Gert asked us.

"Maybe we just beat them here." Molly said to us, I was hoping that was the case.

"My dad got a huge head start." Alex said, so there was no hope for Andre and he was going to end up like Destiny.

"Then maybe our parents took Andre somewhere else." Nico said to him.

"Which means he's probably dead. Goddamn it!" Alex shouted before leaving. Nico left after him. To comfort him I guess.

"I wish this was over already." I said while walking away. I walked down to the library and just thought for a second about how I lived with murderers my whole like. Soon after all the others followed and we all looked around. Chase found a camera.

"Fifteen kids have died in this room. That is so..." Karolina said when Nico and Alex joined us. I didn't feel right in this room.

"Messed up?" Nico said completely her sentence.

"What is the ghost of all these kids are still in here, watching us right now?" Molly asked us.

"Then maybe we could get a ouija board and communicate to them." I said while looking around.

"Okay, Molls, no more Goosebumps for you." Gert told her sister. I wanted to know about why are parents were doing this.

"Anything?" I heard Chase ask Alex. I walked over to them.

"Uh, no. Thankfully it's not on. Probably only use it when they're in here doing their thing. Looks like the footage is being offloaded onto a server somewhere, but I can use it as an access point to see what the cameras connected to. And translate the IP address into a physical one." Alex said to us, we all walked around. I got a bit cold so I did my jacket up. I could only hear the sound of Alex pressing on the keys of his laptop. "No frickin' way." He said out loud.

"Is that a good way or a bad way." I said to him as I walked back over to him.

"Please no more bad news." Karolina told him.

"Video is being funneled to your parents' company." Alex said to Nico.

"They're storing it at Wizard Computers?" Nico said confusedly, I guess that would make sense.

"The most hacker-resistant network on the planet? Yeah." Alex said to her.

"Well, we have to find a wat to get it. It's actual evidence of what our parents have been doing." Nico said, I nodded in agreement.

"Maybe there's an explanation. I mean, they have to be doing all of this for a reason, right? What if they have a good one?" Chase said to us.

"Good reason to kill kids." Molly said to him.

"Maybe they do it for fun. I mean there isn't a good reason to kill a kid who has their whole life ahead of them." I said to them. They couldn't be a good reason for it.

"Chase, come one." Nico said at Chase's stupidity.

"I know it doesn't make any sense, but...I don't know. I was with my dad before and it just made me wonder. What if we're missing something here?" Chase said to us, as much as I hate to go against it we couldn't have missed anything.

"I mean, Chase, can you honestly think of a single reason to justify their actions?" Alex asked him, it went quite. We didn't have answers because they were killing innocent teens. When we decided to go home Chase dropped me off. My parents were already there.

"Where were you?" Dad asked me.

"I was with my friends. We were at the Café." I said to her before running upstairs and having a shower. I changed and smoked a joint. When I'd smoked all I could from it there was a knock on my door. I opened the window and let all the smoke leave my room so that whoever it was wouldn't be able to smell it. "Come in!" I shouted, my mom walked in.

"The reason me and your dad asked where you were was because your our daughter and we love you." She said to me but I knew what she did.

"And I love you both." I said to her. She tried to make a conversation with me she was about to leave but I stopped her.

"If I tell you something do you promise not to tell anyone else." I said to her, I was going to her about my telekinesis but I couldn't.

"What is it?" She asked me.

"I'm trying to quite smoking." I said to her, it was true.

"That's great." She said with a smile. She left my room and went back downstairs. I didn't want to sleep in my own bed so I sleep in my own bed so I slept in my brothers room instead for the night.
