Me and Chase had left Gert to head back to our own houses. I saw that the TV was left on the news. The headline was that Destiny Gonzales had been found dead. I knew that picture was photoshopped. I went up to my room and led on my bed. I saw that I was getting a group chat on Wiztalk on my laptop. I ran over to my desk and answered it. "Have you seen the news?" Gert asked me.

"Yeah it was on when I got home." I told her. I saw that Nico had joined.

"What are you doing?" She asked us.

"Group WizTalk. I think your mom invented it." Chase said.

"You haven't heard the news?" Alex asked her.

"What news?" She asked back. Everyone started talking over one another but I just sat their.

"Yeah, that cleared nothing up." Nico said.

"They found her body. Destiny." Karolina told Nico. It went silent for a few seconds.

"Gotta say I called it." Nico said awkwardly.

"Nico, What?" Karolina said in disbelief.

"It doesn't make any sense." Nico told us.

"Yeah none of it does." Chase told her.

"For once in my life I'm siding with Chase." I said supportingly.

"They found her body on the beach, not in that weird box which we found in Victor's garage, empty." Gert said explaining the situation a bit more.

"Did you find anything in your parents' lab?" Alex asked her.

"I'll be back in a sec." I told them. I got up from my desk and crept downstairs to the garage and opened up the vent and took my weed out. I rolled myself a blunt then walked back upstairs and lit it in my room.

"First time for that, huh, Chase?" Alex said to Chase.

"We need to protect ourselves." Chase said quickly.

"No, you don't. I could be your muscle..." Molly started before being cut off by Gert.

"I'm so sorry about her." Gert said apologizing for Molly.

"Don't apologize Gert I think Molly's got a great view point." I said siding with Molly.

"Although it only works when I'm scared." Molly said saying the disadvantage.

"Are you not scared? Because I am." Nico said expressing how scared she was.

"Look, you can all believe in whatever fantasy you want but I'm gonna make damn sure that they can't hurt me. I suggest you all do the same." Chase said. I laughed a little.

"I'll try and make sure that they don't try and hurt my little high self but no promises. If I wake up in a desert in Nevada tomorrow for some reason. I think I'll be safe." I said while laughing. Alex ended the chat and I picked my laptop off of my desk and put it on my bed. I started playing some music before it was cut off by someone trying to video call me. It was Chase, I answered it. "What do you want? Are you going to apologize for what you did a couple of years ago?" I asked him angrily.

"Look, I understand that your still angry about that-" He said before I cut him off.

"You broke my heart a week after Amy and JJ died and now you think it's acceptable to try and act like nothing happened." I shouted at him. I ended the video chat and started crying. Me and Chase were dating a long time ago. He helped me when Amy and JJ died seeming as we were really close and after a week of them being gone he left me. After 20 minutes I heard a knock on the door. I ran downstairs and wiped my tears away just in case it was Nico. To my surprise it was Chase.

"I never wanted to leave you and after all this time, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I've always loved you and I've never stopped." He told me. He pulled me into a long and passionate kissed filled with love and lust, I couldn't help but to kiss back. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What about Effiel?" I asked him as we pulled apart.

"We're only friends." He answered. Chase pulled me back into a kiss and carried me upstairs to my room and you know what happened next. I woke up to my alarm going off but I couldn't reach it. I felt an arm wrap tighter around my waist followed by a kiss on my neck. I looked behind me and saw Chase. He turned off my alarm and kissed my shoulder. "Can we just stay here all day?" He asked me.

"I wish but we have to get to school and I have to sneak you out as well." I told him.

"What time do your parents normally leave?" He asked me kinda worriedly.

"Half past usually." I responded. "Don't worry they usual don't check on me because they don't care. Plus I have a way of making them quicker." I told him, he smirked at me. After 10 minutes I did my usual plan and they left quicker. "You do realize you can't wear the same clothes as yesterday or their gonna think somethings happened." I told him. "I'm sure JJ won't mind you wearing some of his clothes seeming as he's never coming to get them any time soon." I added.

"How long have you had this figured out?" He asked me.

"I mean I always come up with plans on the spot so you know, since 5 minutes ago." I told him. "I have a question and you have to answer it honestly." I added.

"What is it?" He asked. I sighed quickly.

"Is what you said last night true or am I just a booty call?" I asked him. He sighed before he gave me his answer.

"I meant what I said ok." He told me in a caring tone.

"Does this mean that we back together again or not?" I asked him with a smile on my face.

"Well it depends on whether you want to be known as my girlfriend again." He asked me with a smile on his face.

"I think I can live with that again." I said smiling. "But right now I'm thinking that we should eat and get out of bed." I told him. We both got out of bed and put our clothes on. He went to JJ's room. JJ was my twin brother. One day he was there and being his usual self and the next he was dead in his bedroom. No one still knows how he died but ever since then I can never go into his room. I had a quick shower and changed into my clothes.

Next I did my makeup.

I brushed my hair and just let it fall down my back. I walked downstairs and made 4 slices of toast because I couldn't be asked to cook anything. I used my new founded power to set out the plates and drinks. I didn't really feel like picking up the toast out of the toaster so I used my power to. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "I made toast." I said while laughing.

"At least you made something." Chase said from behind me. I felt the migraine coming on so I had a quick drink. "Are you alright?" He asked me worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a migraine." I told him. We ate breakfast. We decided that he should leave the house first so he would get to school before me so no one would suspect a thing. I left 10 minutes later. When I arrived at the shit-hole known as Atlas Academy I saw Nico and Alex standing together talking. I walked over to them. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" I asked them.

"No, not at all but Y/N will you come with me to the police with me after school?" She asked me.

"Yeah, you didn't have to ask Nico." I told her supportingly.

"The police? No way. Nico, Y/N, what are you even going to say? That the most prominent families in the city, dressed in matching nightgowns, put a girl in a glowing box that you're pretty sure killed her?" Alex rambled on saying about how it was a bad idea.

"There are 7 witnesses..." Nico started saying before 2 guys walked past us. "...and a dead body. Three dead bodies." She continued.

"Exactly Alex. We all saw what happened." I snapped at him.

"And then what?" He asked us. "Our parents lie for each other or say nothing and demand proof. They have the world's greatest lawyer, my mom, not to mention, who do you think they're going to suspect turned them in? The only other people at the house that night- - us." Alex told us. Me and Nico scoffed.

"So I take it that's a no?" Nico asked him. I'm guessing she asked him to go to the police with her as well. There was silence for a second before Nico spoke up. "If the police don't believe me, that's on them, but we're telling them everything we know, about Destiny, JJ and my sister." She told him before walking away. I followed after her.

"Did you find something out about JJ and Amy?" I asked her.

"They didn't do it." She told me. I was confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"They didn't overdose on purpose. Someone made it look like they did." She told me. I felt my eyes fill with tears.

"I'll see you in homeroom." I told her. I walked towards the bathroom.

"Where are you going, Y/N?" She called out to me. I started crying once I reached the bathroom. I heard the door open.

"Go away!" I called out. I looked to my side to see who it was. It was Karolina.

"Y/N are you ok?" She asked me once she saw me crying.

"I'm fine." I lied. I wiped my tears away and redid my makeup.

"If you're fine then why were you crying?" She questioned.

"Because JJ didn't have an overdose." I told her. I left the washroom and walked to homeroom.

It was finally lunch. I got my usual and left. I saw Chase and Gert talking. I walked over to them. Gert was thanking Chase for not saying anything about her parents experiment. Gert finished what she was saying and started leaving when she saw the jocks heading towards us. I sat down next to Chase.

"All weekend, no apology?" One of them told Chase.

"You're not getting one now, either." Chase told him.

"Come on, man, it was just a party. Everyone's wasted, shit happens. All that matters is the team. We gotta be able to put stuff like this behind us." The other told him.

"'Stuff like this?' You cant even say what you were gonna do." Chase told him. Gert was watching from the side.

"Look, man, State is almost here. Just say you're sorry and we all move on." The same guy told Chase.

"Are you going to say sorry to her?" Chase asked them.

"No. I got a broken rib 'cause of that bitch." One of them told him. I saw Chase get up from out of his chair and I did the same.

"Well, good thing you got 23 more!" Chase told him before he started a fight with them.

"Chase!" Me and Gert shouted at the same time. I helped this guy pull them away from fighting.

"That's enough, stop!" Karolina yelled at Chase.

"Get off of me!" Chase kept shouting.

"That's enough, stop!" The school coach told us. "Four of you in my office now." He told us. I knew he suspected I was apart of starting this fight even though I was doing the opposite for once. "Let's go gentlemen and Y/N!" He told us. I grabbed my stuff and followed after him. When we got into his office I stood by the door.

"Sir, can I go I was trying to stop the fight I had nothing to do with. Ask Chase if you don't believe me." I told him.

"Is that true?" He turned to look at Chase.

"Yeah, she didn't do anything." Chase said backing me up. I gave him a quick smile.

"Miss Relish its good to know you have been getting into fights lately. You're excused." He told me. I nodded quickly and left. I bumped into Nico on my way out.

"Did you get into another fight? That's like 8 in the past 2 weeks." She told me.

"Actually this time I was trying to break one up." I told her.

"What's the deal with you and Chase? I mean you act like you hate him but yet I see the way you look at him." She asked me confused.

"He came over last night and then you know." I told her embarrassed.

"After What He did to you." She yelled at me.

"He explained why he did it." I told her.

"He broke you." She whispered to me.

"Well we're back together." I told her. The rest of the day went by. "Are you still sure that we should be going to the police?" I asked as we walked over to my car.

"I'm sure." She told me.

"Then we should go." I told her. I started driving to the station. When we arrived we walked upstairs we sighed when we got to the top. "Are you sure about this?" I asked her.

"I'm sure." She told me. I saw Alex appear next to me. "You come here to try and talk us out of this?" She asked him.

"No, I know better than that. I came here so that you two wouldn't have to do this alone." He told us. We both looked at him and smiled. I saw him take Nico's hand.

"Now I'm feeling lonely." I told them. Alex hooked are arms together.

"Is that better?" Alex asked me.

"Kinda." I said while laughing. We started walking over towards the desk.

"Help you?" The officer asked us.

"I'd like to report a murder. I mean, I wouldn't like to, but..." Alex told Officer Hanover.

"Is that right?" He asked us.

"No it's 3 murders." Nico told him. He looked at us as if we were lying to him.

"Officer, we're not lying." I told him. We were told to sit in the waiting room. I took the seat opposite Nico.

"What's taking so long?" She asked.

"You getting cold feet?" Alex asked her.

"Nico, we just have to be patient ok?" I told her.

"Oh, hey. Sorry for the wait. Detective on the Gonzales case got an important call, so..." Officer Hanover told us before walking out the room.

"We're good." Nico called out to him. "Let's go. Let's go." She told us all of a sudden.

"Wait, why?" Alex asked her, as she was pushing us both forwards. "Whoa..." Me and Alex said at the same time. Nico and Chase's Dad were both there. I could see my dad following behind them. What had they done to get here.

"What is Chase's dad doing with both of your guy's dad's at the police station?" Alex asked both of us.

"Does it look like I'm a fucking Officer Alex?" I asked him rhetorically. The detective that was with them spotted us watching from the stairs.

"Holy shit. Go, go, go, go." Nico said as we ran down the stairs. We walked out the station normally so we wouldn't put any attention onto us. We ran back to my car. We were all panting. "That detective is the man my parents called when Amy died. He came to the house. He said he'd handle it." She told us.

"Wait, I recognize him because he was the detective that came over when JJ died." I told them. Adding onto Nico's point.

"And now he's in charge of Destiny's case. Your parents...Our parents have the cops in their pocket." Alex told us. It was true if they had control over a couple of cops how much further have the gone.

"This has gotten too big. You believe us now?" Nico asked him.

"I think I always believed you." Alex told us he opened up his bag. "That's why I took this." He added. He pulled out a gun.

"Jesus, Alex!" Nico shouted at him.

"What the fuck Alex!" I shouted at him.

"I found it in my dad's desk." He told us.

"And what do you think's going to happen when he notices it's gone?" Nico asked him.

"I don't know but Chase was right. We've gotta protect ourselves." He told us before putting his bag next to him. I dropped both of them back at theirs homes and drove back to my house. I made myself a quick dinner of spaghetti and went up to my room. After I ate I had a quick shower and changed into my sleeping clothes which consisted of shorts and a tank top. I noticed that my parents weren't home for some reason. Nico called me and I answered.

"Did you find something?" I asked her.

"Me and Alex accessed this file. It has profiles on a bunch of victims." She told me.

"Are they somehow related in anyway?" I asked her.

"Their all runaways. They we're taking from the church some of these people go back 15 years. We don't know if this is linked to JJ and Amy but these are people that have been sacrificed. We're at Timely." She told me.

"I'll be there in 10." I told her. I quickly changed my shorts for jeans and put my leather jacket over the top. I drove to Timely's like I said I would. Nico was outside looking panicked.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"Someone took Alex!" She told me.

"It's ok we'll find him." I told her. I don't know how we were going to find him but we were.
