Once I had awoken I'd seen who was left. There was barely anyone. Karolina and Gert were gone. I was just glad to be with Nico. "Where are the others?" I asked her as she was sat next to me.

"Alex and Molly are somewhere talking. But Karolina and Gert haven't returned. I don't know where they are. I don't know where Chase is either. Y/n, they're all gone." She said to me I opened my arms for her to hug me.

"We will find them, don't worry." I said to her. Whilst going to my room. I shut the door and thought of Chase. I shut my eyes, there had to be someway that my powers can locate people or see what they're doing. But that didn't work. When I opened my eyes I just had a Chase. I snapped my fingers and he was gone. I then walked out my room.

"Karolina's alive. But she's trapped somewhere." Nico said to us as we started going downstairs together.

"And you know this how?" Leslie asked her.

"I had a dream about it." Nico said to us, what kind of dream.

"Okay..." Leslie said hesitantly.

"You will forgive me for not accepting this as evidence of her safety." Xavin said to us, I believed that she was safe.

"It was very...vivid." Nico said, i knew she was telling the truth.

"And what about Gert? Did you dream about her?" Molly asked her.

"Anything on Chase either? It's ok if there isn't." I said to her and she shook her head. I'm sure he was ok.

"Hey, you guys. Get in here." Alex said to us and we went to his little room. "PRIDE's about to do a news conference, so I hacked into a bunch of microwave and satellite news feeds- -" He started why couldn't we just watch it on the news.

"If it's on the news, can't we just watch it online?" Nico asked him before doing something.

"It would make it easier." I said before we started watching it online.

"Oh." He got out, he didn't think of that.
"Is that Stacey?" Molly asked, it looked like it but why was she in a suit.

"My mom is wearing pink?" Nico got out, that wasn't like Mrs. Minoru at all.

"There's the Magistrate." Xavin said to us,

"Alex, turn it up." Leslie said before sitting down.

"Thirty-six hours ago, a gas leak led to an explosion that destroyed our headquarters and critically injured Robert Minoru." Mr. Stein said, why were we only just hearing about this now.

"D-Did you know about your dad?" Alex asked her, I pulled her into a side hug.

"Or that there was a gas leak?" Molly asked and she shook her head.

"Uh, I don't remember much about what happened after we split up." She said to us, and that was fine. If she witnessed anything she could be going through a state of trauma.

"Just remember that's PRIDE up there. If they're speaking into a microphone, it's probably a lie." Leslie said to us, and let's just hope that she was right.

"I'm sorry, Nico. You're dad always seemed a little less evil than the rest of them." Alex said to Nico, I just hugged her. She knew how I truly felt.

"Robert is in intensive care at University of Los Angeles Medical Center. We're praying for his full and speedy recovery. Aren't we, Tina?" Mr. Stein said while looking off to the side.

"Mm-hmm. Totes." Mrs. Minoru said before posing for the camera, this wasn't Mrs. Minoru.

"What is my mom doing?" Nico asked us.

"Something that's not like her at all." I said to her, it was like someone was dressed in her skin.

"Channeling 2012 Miley Cyrus?" Molly asked us, seemed about right.

"That's the Daughter. She craves attention and simulation. It's just as I suspected. When the ship blew up, the Magistrate's family took new bodies." Xavin said to us so Mr. Stein was Jonah and the others were just the kids of Jonah. That was confusing.

"But my dream thing was too far fetched?" Nico asked us, not at all.

"Wait, how does it work?" Alex asked her.

"Yeah, what happens to the person already in there?" Molly asked us, I didn't even want to know.

"Much unpleasantness. Slowly, the alien takes over until the host is gone completely. Extinguished." Xavin said to us, if this was happening to Chase. Had I screwed everything up for us?

"And you think that the aliens are inside our parents?" Alex asked her, I was hoping for a different answer.

"It would make sense that they'd choose the nearest hosts." Xavin said to us, so that would put all of us at risk.

"People who were at the dig site." Leslie said to us, well all of us were good. We would know.

"They definitely chose my mom." Nico said to us and I squeezed her shoulder. Mrs. Yorkes came on screen.

"This is a message for a missing family member. You are aware of who you are." She said making Molly look at the screen harder.

"Maybe mine, too." She said to us all.

"The moment has come to return home. Now. Reach us on our communication devices, and we will retrieve you immediately. No questions asked." She said to us the news. Xavin looked at us.

"The Magistrate's wife. See her bearing? She's very powerful. And cruel." Xavin said to us but who was she talking about Xavin or Molly.

"Who was she talking to?" Leslie asked her.

"Her son." Xavin answered, but who was the son.

"Gert and I don't have a brother." Molly said, I don't think she was talking about that.

"There is a fourth member of the Magistrate's family. The darkest and most dangerous of them all. If she's sending him a message- -" Xavin started before Alex cut him off.

"That means he's still out there." Alex answered, I let go of Nico.

"And we're all in danger." I said to them.

"How do we know who he's inside of?" Nico asked, we wouldn't.

"We don't." Leslie answered, there had to be a way.

"Finally, I would like to denounce the racially motivated charges against Geoffrey and Catherine Wilder, and San and Malee Relish. We're confident the Wilders and Relish's will be fully exonerated. Obviously PRIDE is not an organization that tolerates any kind of criminal behavior." Jonah started but they did, they killed people.

"Or you're all a bunch of psychotic assholes who deserve to rot in jail." Alex said while standing up,

"PRIDE will be, uh, suspending operations for the time being, but we expect to be back stronger and better than ever." Jonah said to us before we turned the news off.

"We have to find Gert." Molly said to us as we walked away.

"We have to find Chase." I said to them.

"We have to find Karolina." Nico and Xavin said in synch.

"Where do we even start?" Leslie asked us.

"Well, we know one of us is in touch with PRIDE." Nico said to us.

"Let me go and think of something, maybe I can contact someone." I said to her before walking into my room. I tried calling him, I got nothing. I tried him again. Maybe he was just ignoring. I heard Molly knock on my door.

"Y/n, gear up, we've got 10 minutes." She said to me and just like that I put gloves on along with tying my hair back. I changed my boots to my combat boots.

"I'm all ready." I said to everyone as I went downstairs.

"Are you ready?" Alex asked me, I looked at him.

"I tried to contact he who shall not be named and got nothing." I said to him before everyone else came down and Alex went to get ready.

"Took you long enough." Molly asked, she had her pink hat on.

"You guys have everything?" Alex asked us, I nodded.

"Yeah. Let's go." Nico said and we started walking.

"Before we leave, there's something we need to discuss. The Magistrate's family is ruthless. You have to be ready to strike first and land a mortal blow." Xavin said to us, that was easy for me to do.

"We can do that." Nico said while looking at me.

"I could do it in my sleep." I said to her while crossing my arms.

"No problem." Alex said to us.

"Easy for you to say, Alex. Your parents are in jail along with Y/n's. Isn't there a way that we could just kill the aliens. And leave our parents alone?" Molly asked her.

"It is believed strong emotions can cause a host resurface." Xavin said to us.

"Can we really take that chance?" Molly asked us, of course we could.

"Look, I'm just gonna say it. If you're unprepared to kill PRIDE, you shouldn't walk through that door." Alex said and we all looked at her.

"Molly, are you ready?" Nico asked her.

"It's ok if you're not." I said to her reassuringly.

"Um...in self-defense, I guess. Or to save you guys or Gert." Molly said to us, but that wasn't enough at all.

"That's not enough." Xavin said to us.

"No way you are leaving me here." Molly said to us, we might have to. For her own safety.

"Then say it." Nico said to her.

"Kill or be killed." Alex said while putting his arm out. Me, Nico and Xavin put our hands on top. Molly then put her hand on top hesitantly.

"Kill or be killed." She said to us before we all walked away. Time to end this thing. Me, Alex and Nico walked together to try and find Karolina but we couldn't find her at her place at all. She was just gone. We then went to see if Chase was at his house and he wasn't.

"There gone." I said to them both.

"No there not." Nico said to me and we hugged. We would find them wouldn't we. We then went to Alex's place.

"Woah! There's the camera." Alex said as we stopped running.

"I got it. Blur." Nico said to us, and just like that the cameras were gone.

"Never gets old." Alex said making her chuckle. "All right." Alex said to us. "Looks like there's a whole new layer of Wizard security. Biometric." Alex said to us, I couldn't do anything about this.

'Try seeing inside the lab." Nico said to us.

"That would be horrifying." I said to her, I could only imagine.

"Yeah." Alex said before putting the X-ray giggles on. "There's three tubes. Nico, Y/n, there's a body inside each one." Alex said to us.

"Three?" I asked him.

"Three? Karolina, Gert and who else?" Nico asked him.

"Um, Chase, maybe? Someone's standing outside of it. Their hands are on the tube." Alex said to us,

"Who Alex?" I asked him.

"One of the aliens?" Nico asked him.

"Think so." He said to us before taking the goggles off.

"Never mind. I'm going in." Nico said to us.

"And I'm joining you." I said to her with a smile.

"Hey, hey! No, you're not! We need a plan!" Alex said while grabbing our writs to stop us from walking.

"This is my plan, Alex." Nico said to him.

"And it's my plan as well." I said to him while looking at the house.

"Karolina and Chase are really important to you, aren't they?" He asked us both.

"I can't live without him." I said to him.

"More than anything." Nico answered. "Look I know that's hard for you to hear. Right! That night, when you got us all together, this- -this couldn't have been what you wanted." Nico said to him, he'd always liked her.

"What I wanted was to make you happy. So, I guess I succeeded in that." He said before putting the goggles back on. "Oh, no. There's someone else. Nico, it looks like your mom. So in order to rescue our friends, we gotta get past three Jonah's. We gotta regroup, arm ourselves. I have an idea. Lets go." Alex said to us and we left again. Once we all met up again that's when Alex started laying his plan out.

"What are you even looking for?" Molly asked while looking at the computer screen.

"PRIDE did everything out of their headquarters. If I can hack into their server, I can probably find designs for all their weapons." Alex said to us, then we could take them down.

"After seeing what we're up against, it's obvious we're going to need more firepower." Nico said to us.

"The Magistrate had pods that made Karolina sick. It's what he used to capture her." Xavin said to us. I had an idea.

"I have something but I need to think it through, shout me if you need me." I said before walking away into a different room. Once they got me we all left. I was with Nico and Alex again.

"You've both known me longer than anyone." She said to the two of us, what was this about.

"You mean annoyed you longer than anyone." Alex said making me smile.

"No, I'm serious. Do you think...I'm- -I'm the fourth alien?" She asked us, I looked to the side.

"Not at all." I said to her.

"No offense, Nico, but...you seem like a pretty hostile host. If an alien jumped in you, they'd jump right back out." Alex said to her,

"Thanks...I think." She said before the gate opened up, a car drove out.

"Yes! It worked!" Alex said before the three of us ran inside and up to the house. He then put his thumb on thumb pad. We then got inside and went straight downstairs. "It's Janet and Chase!" Alex shouted at us, so where's Gert.

"So where's Gert?" Nico asked us.

"We'll have to find out later. God, how so we get into these things?" Alex said to us, I walked over to Chase.

"I thought I'd never get the chance to say sorry." I said while looking at him.

"I thought I'd never see her again." Nico said to us while looking at Karolina.

"When we looked through the X-ray goggles, they had their hands on the tube like this." Alex said and I put my hand on the tube. I saw our place, it had been destroyed. I walked out and went downstairs I then saw Chase, holding me.

"Chase!" I shouted before running to him.

"Y/n." He said before running to me.

"I never thought I would see you again. I'm sorry about everything." I said to him, he held me.

"Why are you here and here?" He asked while looking at the the other half of me.

"It's complicated but I'll get you out." I said before leaving him. I looked at the others.

"We need to get them out." Alex said to me, I didn't know how we were going to do it.

"Janet said that there's a book and that it can help us out." He said before going to retrieve Nico and once he did the gates opened again.

"Nico! Y/n! Over here!" Alex said and we went go and hide. I didn't want to know who was coming in.

"Mom? Mother? That's weird. Where is she?" Mrs. Minoru said to but as the Daughter. This was terrifying.

"Somethings not right here." Jonah said to us, he knew we were here. This was over for us.
