I still couldn't believe what we'd done but we were one step closer to taking PRIDE down. And I wouldn't rest until we did. Well that was a lie because I was exhausted and that nap did nothing so, a full time rest was due. When it got to the morning I found out we had another Alien here, Xavin. "They're not staying, right? Please tell me they're just passing through." Gert said as we were watching Xavin and Leslie from a distance.

"I don't know what Xavin's plan is, but it's definitely not leaving." Karolina said to us, I hope they were both leaving soon.

"I think it's more than a quickie courthouse wedding, followed by external happiness and wandering the universe." Nico said to us, something had definitely happened.

"If that's true, they need to leave." I said to her, I wasn't dealing with that shit.

"Creepy." Molly said to us.

"I didn't invite her. But she did stay on the ship, and she survived our parents' attack. We have a responsibility. As for my mom, I don't know. We haven't talked about it." Karolina said to us, I didn't care that she was pregnant. We weren't a hostel. She had to go at some point.

"Well, this can't be a halfway house for pregnancy PRIDE members and aliens with fairy tale fixations." Nico said to us, she made a clear point, this wasn't want this house was about.

"Yeah, I agree. It's too risky. We don't have any idea what Xavin's motives are, and your mom is untrustworthy, to say the least." Alex said to us, and he was right which was why this had to be sorted.

"No more roommates who aren't one hundred percent in. One is enough. I don't need to say his name." Gert said before Alex's phone started ringing.

"It's Chase." Alex said making me look at him.

"You better decline that call." I said to him while turning around.

"What did I just say?! Do not pick up that phone, Alex Wilder!" Gert said as the phone just kept ringing.

"Why not? Ok, I get why not, but he wouldn't be calling if it weren't important." Alex said to us, I didn't care if it was important or not.

"What's important to us is not important to him." Gert said to him and she was right.

"Can you just decide? The sound of the phone is really annoying." Molly said to him, I looked at Alex.

"Don't." I said to him while crossing my arms.

"Alex." Gert said before Alex answered the phone.

"I can't with this." I said before walking away. I don't get how he could do this. After a bit I heard a knock on the door.

"Chase wants to meet, get ready. Please just don't say anything until he's said anything. Okay, Y/n." I heard Alex say before walking away. That was the last thing I wanted to do. I don't even know why I was dressed to be impressive. It's not like I cared for what he thought. But it was the only thing I could find.

We met him in the woods near the mansion. Chase looked at me and looked away as quickly as he could. I could see guilt on his face.

"Looks good on you." Chase said while looking at Alex who had the Fistigons on.

"Safety precaution. No offense." Alex said to him.

"I just want to say, I didn't want to be here. So please let's get this over with." I said to them all mainly Chase. I would never forgive him.

"I would just like it noted that I am here under duress and anything that I agree to should be considered as such." Gert said to him.

"They're really pissed at you." Molly said to Chase, I think he gathered that.

"Totally aware." Chase said to us.

"We all are." Karolina said to him.

"If you can put aside your hurt feelings for one second, there are more important things to discuss." Chase said to us that would be hard to do.

"More important than the complete betrayal of your friends and your girlfriend?" Gert asked him making him sigh, he was struggling.

"I'm here with an offer from our parents." He said to us I just shook my head and laughed.

"Oh, my God, you're one of them." Nico said to us.

"I can't believe this. But I can." I said to them while shaking my head.

"No I'm not." Chase said to us, of course he wasn't. Like I could believe him anymore.

"Makes total sense. You always wanted to go home." Karolina said to him.

"Will you please listen? They're coming for you with everything they've got. I've seen their weapons, and you can't win." Chase said to us, was he seriously underestimating me, Nico and Molly.

"We've heard that before. Yet here we are." Alex said to him, we could take them down.

"But this time it's different. If they have to hurt you, they will, and believe me, they can. But they'd prefer you to come home without a fight, and if you're willing to do that, then PRIDE is ours." Chase said to us, there was no way I was taking over the company.

"Why would we want a totally organization and the hypocritical life that comes with that?" Gert asked him, we weren't talking it over.

"Because they would step back. They would let us run it however we choose. We'd have resources for, I don't know, feminist empowerment projects, feeding the poor, educating the marginalized. The stuff you're always talking about, we'd actually be able to do." Chase said trying to tempt us but that wasn't going to work on me.

"You really think they would just disappear and leave us alone?" Karolina asked, there was no way they would just disappear.

"They're our parents. No way." Molly said to us.

"They'll still have control." I said to them all.

"Guys, you don't understand. This is your last chance." Chase said to us, I looked at him.

"I'm fine with that." I told him with a smile.

"Take it or leave it?" Alex asked and Chase nodded. "I'll pass." Alex said to him.

"I definitely am." I told him while shrugging.

"Me too." Nico said to us.

"They're gonna use the mind-wipe drug. All the connections, all the memories, everything that binds us together, will be erased forever." Chase said to us, I was now questioning everything.

"That might not be such a bad thing." Gert said to us, how could she say that.

"What?" Chase asked her.

'Some us didn't even need a drug to destroy our connection. If you ask me... getting rid of my memories sounds kind of good." Gert said while looking at me.

"Then I- -I guess we're done here." Chase said to Gert.

"I'm certain of it." Gert said before he walked away. That was that, we started heading back.

"What's that noise?" Molly asked, there was a humming sound, I wasn't the only one who'd heard it.

"The hum." I said to her getting a nod.

"I don't hear anything." Nico said before we all stopped.

"Listen." Karolina said before we heard whirring getting closer. We then saw a bunch of drones appear.

"Whoa." Gert said to us.

"Not today." I said to them all.

"Chase was followed!" Alex shouted as we started to retreat. They were firing at us. "Nico!" Shouted as we hid behind the trees.

"Ahh- -I'm having...tomatoes- -" She said to us, I looked at her confusedly.

"What?" Alex asked her.

"Nico, I love you but nows not the time to talk lunch." I said to her, had she been shot.

"I mean- -trouble- -I- -I can't fry a- -a bubble! I'm scrambled." Nico said to us, she wasn't in the right mindset.

"This drone is doing something to her!" Karolina said while using her powers to try and take down the drone but it didn't do anything.

"It's covered in solar protection of some kind." Gert said to us, I tried to take it down but it was painful. I had to stop and catch my breath.

"I'm too weak." I said as tears came from my eyes. Alex tried to take it down with the Fistigons.

"They're jamming the electronics, too!" Alex said to us, we should've agreed.

"They thought of everything!" Molly shouted before she got hit.

"We gotta split up! We gotta try and lose 'em!" Alex shouted, I wasn't going to leave my best friend behind. Especially when she was scrambled.

"Everybody, go!" Karolina said to us. I looked around.

"Nico, let's go!" I shouted while holding her hand and running together. We went with Karolina. We made it to the gated area and got inside. The drone crashed into the gate we were safe. We then continued running before we ran into another one. We held onto each other. I tried to shoot us but couldn't.

"Is that all you." I said to the whoever was controlling the drone.

"Ok, it's out of ammo. What do we do now?" Karolina asked us, I had no idea. Did we run or not?

"We- -be- -bird flappers." Nico said us, she was too scrambled to think.

"That thing has totally scrambled your brain. We gotta get out of here. I'm sure our parents are in their way. There's only one drone and three of us, so if we split up, two of us definitely escapes- -but hopefully all three." Karolina said to us, I looked at them both.

"We'll all make it, I know we can." I said to her. I was trying to convince myself but it wasn't working.

"I- -I don't want- -to leave...you." Nico said to us, she was struggling.

"There's no leaving each other. Not anymore. No matter where we go, what the distance is between us, I will always come back yo you. Ok? Everything's gonna be all right, I promise." Karolina said to her, I felt like a third wheel in this cute moment.

"I lamp you. I lump you." Nico said I felt bad that she couldn't say what she wanted to.

"See you both back at the hostel in an hour. Y/n, look after her." Karolina said before she kissed Nico, now I felt awkward being there. I saw the drone get closer. "Ok, your mom is definitely driving this thing. I'm gonna lead it away." Karolina said before running.

"Wait!" Nico said but it was too late. "Love you." She said quietly.

"She'll be ok. I promise you." I said to Nico, we started walking away.

"Enough." She said, this was how we get everything back to normal.

"Nico, we'll cover more ground if we separate." I said to her, before running in a different direction. I don't know how far I'd ran until I saw a valet service. It was unattended. I took a car key and unlocked a car. It was definitely going to ensure my get away. I walked to the car and got in before driving into the street. I wasn't getting caught not today. I looked in the mirror and saw my parents car. "Not today, you sons of bitches." I said before before going down a shortcut route. I'd lost them. I drove down into an area of Koreatown and instantly got out and ran.

"Y/n, stop!" I heard my mom shout at me. This wasn't going to happen. I managed to make everything collapse around them to make it as hard as possible for them. I saw people retreating inside. That would be safer for them.

"Y/n, it's over. We've got you. Just come home." Dad said to me and I turned around. I looked them up and down.

"You have may have a gun but I'm more powerful." I said to them before creating a barricade around me.

"No, your not, that's where your wrong." Mom said as she got closer to me. I looked at a car and focused on making it blow up.

"Boom." I said while snapping my fingers and it did. They got blown backwards and I used that as my opportunity to run again. No matter what happened I was never looking back. I got a call from Alex.

"Where are you?" He asked me.

"Korea town." I told him he then told me the plan. Both my parents could easily be set up for crimes. And that's what I would do. I saw they were both out cold. I placed the car keys in their hand and made sure to leave my lighter with them. I then called the cops I made sure to watch them get arrested. Once I got home I just collapsed. No one was even here.
