I still couldn't believe that Chase left us. For his parents. He'd betrayed us. I was just laying in our bed. I heard a knock on my door. "Y/n, house meeting, five minutes." Nico said to me. I couldn't do it. I then walked down to the dining area. "I'm concerned about Chase." Nico said to us.

"He made his choice. We all have to move on." Gert told us, how could I.

"He betrayed me." I said them as I was eating my takeout.

"Just like that? We're not cylons from Alex's Doctor Who show." Molly said to us, I felt like it though.

"I appreciate the effort, but..." Alex started before stopping.

"I-I'm just saying, I mean, what if he knows he screwed up, but now he's trapped?" Molly asked us, if he was. He'd regret it.

"Well, then, he'd reach out. But I'm assuming he won't 'cause I'm guessing he likes not having to dodge rats on the way to the kitchen." Alex said to us, I liked that rat.

"It's actually only one rat, and, ironically, I named him Chase." Gert said to us, we were all at a loss.

"But, Chase was the first to go, but probably won't be the last." Alex said to us, I wasn't next. I was staying.

"It won't be who's next." I said to them before eating more noodles.

"He didn't just leave. He went home. How can we be sure he doesn't tell his parents where the hostel is?" Nico said to us, before I trusted that he wouldn't.

"No. He may be asinine...dim witted, fatuous, witless..." Gert started, I could think of more words.

"We get that you're angry. What's your point?" Alex said to her.

"He's an idiot. He's not a traitor." She said to us.

"He's just a backstabbed." I said to her, I think everyone could tell how much I was hurting.

"Assuming he has a choice. They used the truth drug in him last time. Who knows what they'll do next." Nico said to us, I didn't really care after what was going to happen to him.

"My mom's in trouble. Vaughn just called and said Frank sent her to the Crater. It's a Gibb compound in the desert where they do religious trials and discipline." Karolina said to us, could we really trust her Mom though. After what she's put us though.

"Which sounds like brainwashing torture." Nico said to us, it sounded horrible. Like hell.

"Which is exactly why we need to go rescue her." Karolina said to us, we're we sure about this.

"Whoa, what? No way. We're trying to put our parents in jail, not break them out." Alex said to her, he had a point that was correct and valid.

"This is different." She said to us, different how? She was incarcerated.

"May be better. Given the current state of the federal penitentiary system, religious prison might actually be more humane." Gert said to us, it did sound better.

"It sounds better that way." I said to them.

"It's like justice with meditation and yoga sessions." Molly said to us, sounded like paradise.

"No, it's not like that. Vaughn sounded really scared. He said some people that go to the crater don't come back." Karolina said to us, I could see the logic with that.

"That sounds like the logical result of joining an alien-worshiping cult." Alex said to us, he went too far there, on,y a by a little though.

"Hey." Nico and I said to him.

"I lost my dad. I can't lose my mom too." Karolina said to us, we've all lost people.

"We lost all of our parents the day we found out they were serial killers." Alex said to us, I put my hand out in a motioning gesture, he was right.

"Actually, we saved your dad when he was in trouble." Molly said to Alex, that was true, we did do that.

"And if we rescue my mom, maybe we could get some information out of her." Karolina said to us, so we had to change her.

"You mean like turn her?" Nico asked her.

"Sounds like it." I said to her.

"They get one of ours, we get one of theirs. I like it." Molly said with a smile, I looked at Karolina.

"I'm not opposed to it." I said to her with a smile.

"I'm-I'm not gonna decide for everyone. Either we all go, or none of us do." Nico said to us, none of us were going then.

"Great. None of us do." Alex said before walking up and leaving.

"Is this meeting over now? Good." I said to them before heading up to my room. I was just casting images in my room. It was relaxing. I was casting a view of the ocean. I heard a knock on my door.

"Y/n, open up. It's me." I heard Nico say to me, I rolled over.

"Go away Nico." I said to her, I stopped my vision.

"I'm not leaving you alone. Not in this state." She said to me before walking into my room. I felt her sit next to me.

"I'll be fine." I said her, she led down beside me and cuddled me.

"We both know your not." She said, I started crying she was right. I turned over and just hugged her, after a while I fell asleep like that. After a while I woke up and heard talking about the prison break.

"I'll go with you guys." I said to them with a smile.

"Prison break girls trip plus Vaughn." Molly said making us chuckle. Alex might not approve but who cares. We got ready and then picked Vaughn up.

"Road trip." He said as we drove off.

"To save my mom." Karolina said to him, what a way to kill the mood.

"Yes, totally. To save your mom. I hope she forgives me for the whole re-conditioning thing. I had no idea Frank would take it this far." Vaughn said to her, who knows.

"I'm sure she will. Don't worry." Karolina said to us, I think we were talking about different people here.

"Have you met your mom?" Nico asked her.

"She doesn't seem like the kind." I said to Karolina with a smile.

"Are those for us?" Molly asked Vaughn. I looked and saw he has snacks.

"Yeah. Check it. Snack bags! I put, uh, Sake Kit-Kats in yours, Karolina, because I heard you say you liked them once." Vaughn said before handing out the snack bags. He was sweet for giving us food.

"Like, literally once." Karolina said to us, I think Vaughn liked Karolina.

"And the coup de grâce..." He started before taking something out his bag.

"No way! That's awesome!" Molly said, it was Gibb stuff. Just great. "Gibb garb all around, guys! I mean girls. I mean women. And, uh, Nico, you're gonna have to ixnay the ake-up-may. Goth look's a dead giveaway. Also, it represents the darkness of the human spirit." Vaughn said to us, there was no way Nico was giving up her makeup look. It was her identity.

"No way in hell." She said to him with a fake smiling.

"Interesting choice of words." He said to her, he was kind of pissing me off.

"No, he's right, Nico. You'll stand out. And I need you in there with me." Karolina said to her.

"Also, I, uh, did my want to make a big deal out of it, because it's enormemente embarrassing- -" Vaughn said making Molly shake her head.

"No." She said to him.

"But, back at Vassar, my nickname was kind of Vaughn the Brawn. 'Cause I was muscular. Am muscular. So, I can handle any of the rough stuff, if it comes to that. The Brawnster's got you." He said to us, I just wanted him to shut up. And when he finally did I was glad of it. When we got to our destination we immediately got out. "This place is shrouded in mystery, even to long-term members like me." He said to us, I was I had the ability to sew his lips shut.

"I haven't been here since I was a kid. Definitely more Alcatraz now." Karolina said to us.

"That's the impression I got, unescapable prison." I said to her with a smile.

"It's ok, though, because..." He started saying to us.

"Yeah, we know. Vaughn the Brawn." Molly said to us, honestly he wasn't a match for us.

"I was gonna say because I stood Aura's Crater map, but also that." He said to us, Karolina took it and started looking it over.

"Morning prayers begin..." I heard a man over a speaker. We saw a vehicle drive around.

"It's worse than I thought." Nico said to us, way worse.

"When we find my mom, we're gonna have to fight our way out again. You guys ready for that?" Karolina said to us, I looked at her.

"I'm always ready to fight." I said to her with a smirk.

"Always ready to kick a little Church of Gibborim's ass." Molly said to us making me smile. "No offense." She said after the look Vaughn gave her.

"Have a blessed day." The man said on the P.A. System.

"Actually, change of plans. Vaughn, you lead me in, I confront Frank alone." Karolina said to us but that was too dangerous.

"We can't trust him." Molly said to us, if she did she was crazy.

"Trust me, I know how to work him. Years of practice. I can do this." She said to us, I hope she was right.

"Fine. But if there's trouble, send up a flare. We'll come running." Nico said to her, we would no matter what.

"Wait, you brought a flare gun?" Vaughn asked us, he was clueless. Nico sighed.

"Thank god he's gone." I said to them with a smile. I'd had enough of him.

"They went deeper into the compound, towards the rehabilitation rooms." Vaughn said as he came over to us.

"Sounds bad. We should go in." Molly said to us.

"Or that-that's where Leslie's being held, and Karolina's plan's working." Nico said to us, I didn't trust it.

"I don't know, I got bad feeling." Molly said to us, I didn't know what to think.

"She hasn't shot off a flare." Nico said to her.

"Or she tried and we didn't see it." Molly said to us,

"Or maybe she can't." I told them.

"Guys, I don't she's got a flare gun." Vaughn said to us. I just wanted to tell him to shut up.

"We go in half-assed, we could blow our cover and put her in danger." Nico said to us, I was beginning to not know what was happening.

"We won't. Just get the staff out, and we're gonna need one of your spells." Molly said to us.

"She's right Nico." I said to her with a smile.

"Like a magic staff? Like Harry Potter?" Vaughn asked us, no like an actual staff.

"Molly, Y/n, I'm in charge." Nico said to us, that she was.

"It's kind of unofficial." Molly said to us.

"So, we're all in charge. The three of us." I said to her with a smile.

"So you think you're some kind of wizard?" Vaughn asked her, if he thought Nico was a wizard what would he say about me.

"Is this about you being afraid to us the staff, because of the whole darkness thing, and making that strike team disintegrate?" Molly asked her, it was the only logical explanation.

"Wait, what? Are you some kind of wizard?" He asked her seriously.

"Shut it, Vaughn." I said to him.

"Because you're really brave, and she might need us, so I think you should get the staff out." Molly said to her, she wasn't taking no as answer.

"Fine. We'll move closer so we can see a fake if she sends one up, but, until she calls for us, we wait." Nico said us before we went over to a wall. "I mean, for all we know, Karolina's with her mom right now." She said to us, hopefully she was. It wasn't long until it become night. We watched as Karolina and her mom and someone else went up to the guards.

"We could rush through the gates and take out those guards." Molly said to us.

"It would get this done a lot quicker." I said them.

"Not yet. If they can get through on their own, no one has to get hurt." Nico said to us as we watched what was taking place. They walked out.

"Karolina, stop! Those are apostates escaping!" Frank shouted, alarms started going off. We should never have done this. They were trapped.

"Now?" Molly and I asked.

"Now." Nick said before getting her staff out.

"Ohh! Oh, the staff is real. So you are a wizard. Why are your eyes yellow? And why are your purple and blue?" Vaughn asked us, that was too many questions. "And the world is spinning so fast. Why is i5 spinning so fast?" He asked before collapsing.

"Leave him." Nico said to us.

"I was planning on it." I said before we started running. Frank looked at us.

"Take them down, or they will destroy our beloved church." Frank said to us, but that wasn't true we wanted to save Mrs. Dean.

"No one has to get hurt." Karolina said to him.

"Surrender, and no one will." He said to her before it went silent. Karolina started to levitate. We all watched in awe. "Karolina, stop it, right now." Frank said but everyone was kneeling in her presence.

"For my light will shine through another, and cast out the darkness covering the earth and lead you to your destiny, where you will walk as children of the light and shine as brightly as the sky above." She said to them, Karolina was in charge now.

"No. No! This is not the Radiance. This is not the prophecy. This is...she is not who you- -" Frank started before Karolina came back down.

"Open the gates." She said to him making me smirk. I was starting to like Karolina.

"Open the gates." A guy said and the gates opened up. We started walking back to the car. We dragged Vaughn and then gave him a little hit on the cheek. He gasped and got up immediately.

"Guys, I got this. I got it." He said to us making me shake my head.

"Fights over, Brawnster." Molly said to him as he has his fists ready.

"Did we save her?" He asked us, kind of.

"I don't know what happened, but it was awesome. Ah, you're-you're an Angel." Molly said to him and Karolina.

"Let's go home." She said to us and that's when we made our way home. We then made Mrs. Dean feel welcome.

"Welcome to our home." Nico said to her.

"It's not much but it is home." I said to her with a smile. Leslie let out a chuckle.

"This is where you've been living?" She asked us, yep. The fortress that was never found.

"Awesome, right?" Molly asked before Gert and Alex appeared.

"Whoa! What the hell is she doing here? We did not agree for this." Alex said to us, I looked at them.

"While you sort this out I'm taking a nap." I said before heading to the chair and falling asleep. Once I woke up, I checked to see if I had any messages on my phone and I didn't. I was really hoping Chase would've said something. But he didn't. Maybe he was actually enjoying it in the real world. With his parents. With PRIDE.
