In the desolate parts of the Evernight Castle, Darth Jadus meditates on the Dark Side of the Force in his private chambers. Outside the room was Team SHDW minus Mordred who were guarding the entrance. They were then approached by Cinder along with Emerald and Mercury. Team SHDW are quick to stop them. 

Circe: None may pass here. 

Emerald: That's not your decision. 

Grendel: I'd chose my next words very carefully, little girl. All we need is an order from Lord Jadus and we end your insignificant lives. 

Deimos: These cretins are not worth our time. Killing them would be beneath us. 

Suddenly, green smoke begins to fill the room. Circe's eyes began to glow as she runs her hand through the smoke. As she does so, a wounded Mordred emerges from the smoke. 

Mordred: Where is our master? 

Before his teammates could answer, Darth Jadus exits from his chambers. Immediately, Mordred and the rest of Team SHDW  bow before him. Darth Jadus approaches Mordred. 

Darth Jadus: Report. 

Mordred: The Jedi proved more powerful than anticipated. I was unable to kill her or the Silver Eyed one. 

Upon hearing this, Cinder clenched her fists in anger. To hear that Darth Jadus had attempted to kill Ruby and rob her of her revenge deeply angered her. Cinder wanted to attack the Sith Lord, but she restrained herself. She would take great satisfaction to see Darth Jadus react to the failure of his most trusted servant. 

Darth Jadus: This is most disappointing news, Mordred. However, I did not expect you to slay the Jedi then and now. It seems she has inflicted a great wound upon you. 

As Darth Jadus points this out, Mordred ran his hand through the scar across his face which had been inflicted by Katooni's Lightsaber. The attack had blinded Mordred in his right eye. 

Darth Jadus: In your failure, you have given me invaluable information. The Jedi is not to be underestimated. This one Jedi possesses a formidable power. 

Mordred: What about the rest of the Jedi that follow her? 

Darth Jadus: They will be dealt with in due time, Mordred. In the meantime, we have other matters to attend to. I have a special assignment for you and your team. Salem plans an attack on Haven Academy. You and your team shall go to Haven Academy. 

Mordred: We are your servants, Lord Jadus. 

Mordred and the rest of Team SHDW bow their heads to the Dark Lord as they get up and leave the room to begin the journey to Haven Academy. As they leave, Cinder quietly whispers to Emerald. When Darth Jadus turns his back on them, Emerald calls him out. 

Emerald: We're not done here, Jadus. 

A chuckle could be heard from the Dark Lord as he turns around and faces them. 

Darth Jadus: Speak. 

Emerald: The Silver Eyed girl belongs to Cinder. 

Darth Jadus: Have you forgotten the power I wield? Have you forgotten the pain and terror I struck in the heart of the Atlesian Military? The power you wield is nothing compared to mine, Cinder Fall. 

Darth Jadus then aimed his hand towards Cinder. Cinder began to choke as she collapsed to her knees. Emerald moved to attack Darth Jadus, but the Sith Lord unleashes a torrent of Force Lightning which blasted her against a wall. Mercury was paralyzed with fear, knowing firsthand of Darth Jadus's power. As Darth Jadus continued to strangle Cinder with the Force, the Sith Lord took pleasure in her struggle. 

Darth Jadus: Your life is in my hands. With a mere movement of my hand, I could end your miserable existence here and now. You would die a miserable failure in the eyes of your master. All your ambitions would be reduced to nothing. 

In that moment, Darth Jadus released her hold on Cinder. Cinder collapsed to her knees as Emerald got up and rushed to Cinder's side. Darth Jadus lorded above them like a god. 

Darth Jadus: You are nothing. All you are is a broken slave who's desire for power has left your body broken. Killing you would be an act of mercy. I should put you out of your misery. But that would be too easy. 

As Darth Jadus repeated the words he said to her after suffering her injuries from Ruby, Cinder wanted to attack Darth Jadus so bad, but she was unable to. 

Darth Jadus: Remember this day, Cinder Fall. Remember that no matter how much power you acquire, you will always amount to nothing more than a slave. Your existence is to serve the whims of others. No amount of discipline will turn sheep into wolves. Remember those words, Cinder Fall. 

With that, Darth Jadus turned his back on Cinder and her allies. He then returns to his private chambers. In that moment, Cinder swore that no matter what, Darth Jadus would die by her hands. She would bide her time and await the perfect opportunity to strike. Meanwhile in his private chambers, Darth Jadus looks over a holographic map of the city of Atlas. Highlighted was Atlas Academy. Darth Jadus had planted spies and agents of his terror network in Atlas. They would patiently await his orders. Darth Jadus took pride in his progress. All was going according to plan for the Sith Lord. He would patiently wait for the right time to enact his plans to usher in an epoch of terror upon all of Remnant.
