As Katooni and Team RNJR readied their weapons, the Nuckelavee lets out an ear piercing roar which causes the group to flinch. Despite this, Katooni stands tall. 

Katooni: We will not fail here!

With that, Katooni coordinated an attack with Team RNJR in an attempt to take down the Nuckelavee as quickly as possible. That plan quickly goes south as Ren rushes in and attempts to kill the Nuckelavee by himself. She could feel his anger well up as he is pushed back. Katooni was quick to notice Ren's erratic behavior. 

Katooni: Ren! We need to stick together, calm yourself!

Ren ignores Katooni's words as he is pushed to the ground besides Nora. Katooni along with Ruby and Jaune advance towards the Nuckelavee to cover Ren and Nora. 

Jaune: How are we going to take this thing down?!

Ruby: There has to be a weakness to it! 

Katooni: We must cover Ren and Nora! No more will be harmed by this Grimm! 

As Katooni leads Ruby and Jaune in the assault on the Nuckelavee, Ren sees this happening. 

Ren: Nora, let go! Nora, they're going to get hurt if we don't...

Ren attempts to intervene, but Nora stops him. She proceeds to slap Ren in the face, catching him off guard.

Nora: No. I won't let you kill yourself like this. After everything we've been through, I won't let it end. Not like this.

As Nora says this, he pulls out a knife from his boot. As Nora encourages him, Ren and Nora join the fight. 

Ruby: Ren. Jaune and I can take care of its arms.

Nora: I'll take care of the horse.

Ren: And I'll take care of the rest.

Katooni: I will try to immobilize it. 

As a plan was formed, Katooni uses the Force to restrain the Nuckelavee. Doing so proved strenuous on her body due her injuries. Despite this, Katooni refused to give up. Katooni tapped into the Force to give her strength. 

Katooni: I am one with the Force and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force and the Force is with me. 

As Katooni chants to herself, she gains a firm hold on the Nuckelavee. Despite the strain on her body, Katooni refused to give in. As the Nuckelavee lies immobilized, Ruby and Jaune take the opportunity to pin the Nuckelavee's arms while Nora kills the horse. As Ren goes in for the kill, Katooni tosses Ren her Lightsaber. Ren grabs it and uses it to decapitate it as well as stab it in the heart with the knife. It dies in a pillar of black smoke. Ren drops the knife and breathes out a sigh of relief only to be tackled by a giggling, triumphant Nora. Ren simply chuckles. Ren then walks up to Katooni and hands her back her Lightsaber. 

Ren: Thank you, Katooni. 

Katooni nods her head in respect as she reclaims her treasured weapon. Ruby soon runs to the hut where Qrow was to find him still alive. 

Qrow: It's quiet. Good job, kiddo.

Jaune: Guys! I think I hear something!

Suddenly, two airships land near the group. Qrow is soon carried on a stretcher. As the ships take off, everyone gets on board. 

Jaune: How did you find us out here?

Mistral Pilot: We were on patrol and saw the smoke. Nobody's been out here for years, thought something might be wrong.

Katooni: Will this take us to Mistral? 

Mistral Pilot: Shouldn't be too long. 

As the rescue seats make their way to Mistral, Katooni meets with Qrow and Team RNJR.

Katooni: There's...there's something I must tell you. 

Katooni then proceeds to tell them everything about her true identity as a Jedi. She tells them about the nature of the Force as well as the circumstances that brought her and the Kybuck Clan to Remnant. Upon revealing the truth, the room fell silent. 

Jaune: So you're an....alien? Like from another planet?

Katooni: Yes. 

Ren: Why didn't you tell us? 

Katooni: Because I didn't want to endanger you all. We came here because we had no other choice. The ship we came in was damaged beyond repair by Grimm. 

Nora: So you're stuck here? 

Katooni: Essentially. 

As Ruby and the rest of Team RNJR took a moment to reflect on this, Qrow was quick to recall his encounter with Darth Jadus. 

Qrow: This Jadus guy one of you as well?

Katooni: Not...not exactly. He's a Sith Lord. Not only that, but he's an ancient Sith Lord from thousands of years ago. I don't know how he's on Remnant, but I know for a fact that he's not connected with the ones responsible for the downfall of the Jedi. 

Ruby: I don't care about what brought you here. You're here now. You've been a wonderful friend to every one of us. 

As Ruby said this, everyone began to reaffirm their trust in Katooni. Katooni warmly smiles to the group. 

Katooni: Thank you all for trusting in me. I...I won't let you down. 

Soon enough, Katooni went to the doctor on the ship to address her wounds. Luckily, the injuries she sustained wasn't life threatening. The doctors were able to heal up the wounds Katooni was unable to heal with Force Heal. It wasn't long before the ships reached the city of Mistral. In that moment, everyone was ready to continue their journey despite the great challenges that lay ahead of them. Despite everything that had happened to her, Katooni's faith in her friends and in the Force remained unshaken.
