After their encounter with Darth Jadus, Katooni and Petro continued moving through Beacon in search for Pyrrha and Jaune. Soon enough, they came across Jaune who was getting out of a locker.

Petro: Jaune! What happened?! 

Jaune: You need to stop her!

Katooni: Stop who?

Jaune: Pyrrha! She's going after that woman at the top of the tower! She doesn't stand a chance! 

Katooni: We'll find her, Jaune. Get yourself to safety! 

Katooni and Petro soon began making their way to the CCT Tower. They cut through any Grimm that came in their way. They could see they Wyvern land at the top of the CCT Tower. 

Petro: That giant Grimm is going to be a problem! 

Katooni: It doesn't matter! We have to rescue Pyrrha!

Left with no other choice, Katooni and Petro began climbing up the CCT Tower. Soon enough, they reached the top where they found Pyrrha struggling against Cinder Fall. 

Katooni: Pyrrha! 

Pyrrha: Katooni?! Petro?! What are you two doing here?!

Katooni: We're here to help you, Pyrrha! We won't let you fight this alone!

Cinder looks upon Katooni and Petro. She immediately recognizes them from the Dust Robbery months ago. 

Cinder: So you two are Ozpin's pets as well? You'll know soon enough just how far Ozpin has led you astray. 

Petro: I don't care what kind of powers you got! We're taking you down!

Cinder simply chuckled as she sprouts fire from her hands. Katooni and Petro activate their Lightsabers while Pyrrha readies Milo and Akouo. Cinder then begins throwing fireballs at the three, but Katooni and Petro were able to dodge it while Pyrrha blocks them with her shield. Katooni then fires a blast of Force Judgement on Cinder, but Cinder uses her Maiden powers to absorb it. While she wasn't nearly as powerful as Darth Jadus, the power Cinder wielded was formidable. 

Pyrrha: Get out of here, now! 

Katooni: We're not leaving you, Pyrrha! 

Pyrrha: This is my fight! Please! I don't want you to get hurt on my account!

Petro: No can do, Pyrrha! We're in this together! And besides, we got a score to settle with that bitch! 

Despite Pyrrha's protests, Katooni and Petro remained by her side. The three fought against Cinder, but the powers of the Fall Maiden proved too strong for them. As Cinder focuses her attention on Pyrrha, Katooni and Petro intervene. 

Cinder: I must say, I'm surprised you two are here. I would've thought Jadus would've killed you right now. It would see that he's not as powerful as I was led to believe.

Upon hearing Jadus's name being mentioned by Cinder, Katooni and Petro were caught off guard by this. Katooni once more shoots a blast of Force Judgement upon Cinder which appeared to have stunned her. Katooni and Petro then go for a coordinated takedown, but Cinder quickly recovers and shoots a stream of fire. The two Jedi were forced to stop the attack and use the Force to protect themselves. Katooni then redirects the flames back on Cinder, but she easily absorbs the fire into her hands. 

Cinder: You cannot stop the inevitable. 

Katooni: Nothing is inevitable!

As Katooni and Petro struggled with Cinder, Cinder overpowers them and uses her Maiden powers to blast them against a wall. Before she could finish them off, Pyrrha intervenes. 

Pyrrha: Your fight is with me!

Pyrrha then begins fighting Cinder, but is soon overpowered. Cinder then forms an obsidian bow in her hand. She then fires it and hits Pyrrha in the ankle. Pyrrha collapsed in pain as Cinder walks towards her with a sinister smile. 

Cinder: It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours. But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined.

Pyrrha then looked up at Cinder as she aimed her bow at her. 

Pyrrha: Do you believe in destiny?

Cinder: Yes.

Cinder then fires an arrow straight into Pyrrha's heart. Pyrrha lets out a simple gasp as Cinder places her hand on her head. Pyrrha's body begins to incinerate until it is reduced to embers, leaving only her headdress behind. Katooni and Petro woke up to see this. Another witnessed this. Ruby had made it to the tower to witness it. With tears in her eyes, Ruby falls to her knees. A blinding bright light emerges from her eyes. 

Ruby: PYRRHAAAAAA!!!!

The bright light begins to envelope both Cinder and the Wyvern. Cinder was in complete shock. 

Cinder: WHAT?!

Seeing what was happening, Katooni and Petro rush inside the ruined room of a communications center. They were overwhelmed by the raw power of the light as well as Ruby's pain and sorrow. Once it was over, Katooni and Petro rushed over to find the tower leveled as well as the Wyvern turned to stone. 

Petro: Whoa....

Katooni: Did...did Ruby do this?

Petro: I...I think she did....

They looked around to see Cinder nowhere to be seen as well as Ruby's unconscious body. Petro checks on Ruby while Katooni collects Pyrrha's headdress. As Katooni looks upon the headdress that once belonged to Pyrrha, she was overcome with immense guilt. 

Katooni: Pyrrha....I'm so sorry....

Petro: It...it wasn't your fault, Katooni. We did the best we could. 

Katooni: Is Ruby....

Petro: She seems to be all right. We'll need to get out of here as quickly as possible. 

Soon enough, a Bulkhead arrived near the ruined CCT Tower. Katooni and Petro carried the unconscious Ruby to the Bulkhead. As the Bulkhead began flying away, it was clear that Beacon had fallen.
