When Order 66 forced them to flee the Jedi Temple, the Kybuck Clan found refuge in an isolated planet called Remnant. When they arrived in Remnant, the Kybuck Clan found themselves enrolled at Beacon Academy: a prestigious academy tasked with training the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses. During this time, the Kybuck Clan forged new bonds with friends in Beacon. One day, the Kybuck Clan were sent on a mission to investigate the security network in the Emerald Forest when it went down. As the Kybuck Clan walked through the Emerald Forest, they spoke to one another.

Ganodi: So what do you think happened?

Zatt: Grimm most likely.

Petro: Then this mission should be a piece of cake.

Katooni: Don't get too cocky, Petro. Remember what the masters taught us. Every Jedi, in every task, should prepare for the possibility of failure.

Petro: Yeah yeah yeah....

Soon enough, the Kybuck Clan approached the cave where the security control center was set up in. When they entered the cave, they eventually find the command center. The tech savvy Zatt investigates the control center.

Zatt: Huh. That's strange.

Katooni: What is it?

Zatt: It looks like there's some...foreign object. Whatever it is, it's messing with the control system.

Petro: Think you can get it out?

Zatt: Sure. I'll just need some time to....

Suddenly, roaring was heard. Immediately, the Jedi readied their Lightsabers.

Byph: That....doesn't sound good....

As Byph said this, a horde of Grimm Beowolves began approaching them.

Gungi: <Grimm!>

Petro: We'll keep the Grimm off your back, Zatt! Just get that control center up and running!

Zatt: Got it!

With that, the Kybuck Clan battled against the Grimm while Zatt worked on removing the device. During the battle, Petro jumped on one of the Beowolves and plunges his Lightsaber into it's head, killing it. Ganodi then performs a Lightsaber throw to decapitate a Grimm that was about to attack Zatt. Gungi and Byph went back to back as they cut down several Beowolves that attacked them. Katooni took a deep breath as she cut down several Grimm utilizing a hybrid attack of Makashi and Soresu. As the battle raged in the cave, Zatt continued trying to disable the device.

Zatt: C'mon....c'mon....

Suddenly, a Beowolf grabs Zatt and roars at him. Zatt then uses the Force to call upon his Lightsaber and sever the Grimm's arms. The Grimm howls in pain as Zatt finishes the Grimm off with a thrust to the mask. Zatt then goes back to trying to repair the security control center.

Petro: These Grimm don't let up!

Gungi: <They are relentless!>

Ganodi: Zatt, how are we with that security center?!

Zatt: I'm almost done! Just need a little more time!

Katooni: We'll buy you as much time as you need! We must hold the line!

The Kybuck Clan formed a defensive wall around Zatt and the security control center, cutting down several Grimm. Suddenly, the ground shook as a hulking Beowolf appeared. Unlike the others, this Beowolf stood on it's hind legs with massive green spikes on it's back.

Petro: Ah Sithspit!

Ganodi: Zatt.....

The Beowolf roared as it charged at the Kybuck Clan. Immediately, this Grimm proved stronger than the others as it tanked their Lightsaber strikes. With one sweep of it's arm, the Kybuck Clan were swept aside. As it was about to attack Zatt, the Kybuck Clan collectively use the Force to hold it in place.

Ganodi: What....is that thing?!

Petro: I don't know, but it's big and pissed off!

Gungi: <Zatt needs our help!>

As the Kybuck Clan attempt to hold the Beowolf in place, it breaks free. Zatt was able to disable the device and restore the security control center, but the Beowolf grabs him. Without hesitation, Katooni and Petro jump on it's back. Katooni lands a slash on it's arm, forcing the Grimm to release Zatt. Zatt then joins the rest of the Kybuck Clan in retraining the Beowolf with the Force. Petro jumps in the air and throws his Lightsaber at the Grimm's mask, impaling it. The Grimm howls in pain as Katooni thrusts her Lightsaber into the Grimm's nape. As the Grimm was on it's last legs, Petro pulls the Lightsaber and calls for Katooni.

Petro: Let's take this thing out!

Katooni nods her head as Petro jumps into the air and lands several telekinetic blasts on the Grimm. Katooni then follows through by landing several slashes on the Grimm's legs. Finally, Katooni and Petro land the killing blow by thrusting their Lightsabers in the Grimm's mask. When the Beowolf was killed, the cave was cleared.

Petro: That was...harrowing....

Gungi: <That Grimm....it was different.>

Ganodi: No kidding.....

Zatt: I think I got an idea of what we're dealing with.

Katooni: What do you got?

Zatt: This device seemed to shut down the security control center. Someone put it there.

Zatt then shows the device in question to the rest of the Kybuck Clan. Upon further inspection, they notice a strange symbol on the device. The symbol itself was a hexagon design with the letter m in the middle.

Katooni: What's that symbol?

Zatt: No idea. But if I had to guess, that symbol is connected with whoever did this.

Katooni: That just leaves that....Grimm.

Byph: Do...do you think they're connected.

Katooni: Let's not draw to conclusions yet. Zatt, is the security control center restored?

Zatt: Yeah. Once I removed the device, the control center activated.

Katooni: Then we're done here. We should report to Headmaster Ozpin. Maybe he can shed light on this.

With that, the Kybuck Clan departed from their cave. Their mission was a success. What they didn't realize was that they had stumbled upon an evil plot that threatened the peace and stability of Remnant.
