Kellen POV

After all the preparations have been completed all the soldiers were allowed to rest before heading out to battle. I honestly don't like the thought of losing our men. They have families that care for them and many who have loved ones to care for. Still as long as the first group stands than we have a chance and if his plan of working groups of three increase the chance of survival then we should be alright.

"Kallen you should rest and spend time with your loved ones." I turn to see (F/n) standing there writing in her book.

"What about you shouldn't you spend time with your family?" I question her as she kept writing in her book.

"I will I have to check in with her majesty and I'll be heading home with Zero." She said as she closed her book.

"What's wrong you've been staring at be for a long time." She asked as she turn towards me. I didn't even know I was starring at her for so long.

"I'm curious you've been married for so long and started a family. Is that life really amazing? Being married I mean." I asked as she seemed surprised what I'm asking. She walked towards me and sat down beside me.

"I guess it is amazing in a way but to me being married means I'm not alone anymore. I can rely on someone to help me in my worst situation and I don't have to put on a brave face anymore."

"How your both very different?"

"Zero and I both had a ruff childhood and we understand what the other had to go through. Sure it took a long time to accept each other again but when you love someone so much... well your able to forgive them and keep moving. Zero has his share of mistakes and so do I, but we never stopped loving each other because of our past mistakes. Sure I have my moments when I refuse to be affectionate towards him but he still loves me. He may have his perverted ways when there someone but I still love him. In a way we sorta balance each other." She said with a smile and a blush.

"I guess love can overcome anything." I mumbled as she pulled me to hug her.

"You and Gino had a fight didn't you." She said as I looked at her.

"Is it that obvious?" She smiled and got up.

"It was obvious when you guys avoid each other like the plague. Give him some space and let him cool down and once he's clam apologize to him."

"Well I guess your right even though it was his fault." I said as I got up.

"What was the fight about?"

"He thinks I place our duties as a knight first than our relationship. He said that girls should being more serious about their relationship, and shouldn't focus on other things. He made me so mad that he would put me with those type of people. I love him but that statement made me so angry that I just slapped him on the face. We haven't talked since that day."

"I guess you do have a point sorta reminds me the day Suzaku got me mad for the first time. I guess all guys want to be pampered by a pretty girl and make them look like god's. Honestly if your going to date someone like us well they shouldn't expect us like that." I smiled as we walked towards the exit.

"Still you should try to clear things up at least let him know what you think."

"Right thanks I'll see you later."

Suzaku POV

'Finally I can go home and spend some quality time with my princess.'

"Hey Zero can I ask you something?" Gino asked as he came towards me.

"Sure what is it?"

"Have you ever gotten someone so mad that they avoid talking to you?"

"You got Kallen mad didn't you." I stated as he laugh nervously.

"Yes but I didn't mean to get her mad it just..."

"Alright tell me what happen." I began to hear his side of the story about how they never have time together or they hardly go out on dates anymore. To point he got slapped on the face which I can see by the bruise on his face.

"I see so you wanted to spend time with her but you ended up insulting her. Sorta reminds me of the first time I insulted my wife. She ended up hating me and she pulled my ear so hard that it turn red. Women like Kallen and (F/n) are hard to express their emotions. They don't like being compared to other women and especially your ex's."

"Then I guess I should apologize for my mistake. I just wanted to spend time with her that's all."

"I know the feeling but there are moments when they are more affectionate than normal shows that we are important to them. Just remember what they had to do in order to survive in Japan. It wasn't easy for them to hide their bloodline not without any help."

"I know but still is it wrong to ask for some cuddle time?"

"Just tell her sorry and make her feel special. I'm sure once you clear things up everything will make sense to you." He nodded and headed towards where I think Kallen is at. I began to walk towards Nunnally office and report about the preparation are complete.

"You came to report as well?" I looked up and see my one love that waited for me.

"Princess what are you doing here?" She smiled and walked towards the the doors.

"I came to leave my report and I wanted to go home with my husband too." She said as I smiled.

"Then shall we report together?" She nodded and grab my hand.

'She may have a hard time expressing her feelings sometimes but day by day I can see she really does care. Especially when she try's to express her love for me.'
