Suzaku POV

I have been unable to shake off that feeling of her crying. I'm her husband and I just saw my wife holding her emotions inside her heart. It's not supposed to be like this not once has she shown sadness. What kind of a man am I letting her feel sad. I made a vow to make her happy and I just broke it.

"Daddy is mommy going to be okay?" Rolo asked. Of course, he's worried he's never seen his mother cry. The times I've seen her cry is when she can no longer hold it in anymore.

"Mommy is going to be fine. She's just letting out some pain she has. So don't worry daddy will make her smile again." He nodded and went to play with his toys.

'I need to fix this and quickly or things will go down.'

Your POV

You've been in your room ever since you got the news. The thought of everyone gone scared you more. It's been so long since you last saw death take away your loved ones. Yet the one thing you didn't get is who would have done this.

'I have to go back.'

"(F/n) Are you alright?" Suzaku said as he came in with some water.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Where's Rolo?"

"He's taking his nap right now."

"I see... listen Suzaku do you think it's possible to get permission to go back to the W-0. I need to check on something that may be true." He seemed to understand and took a seat next to you.

"Did something happen to everyone? I know that when you cry it cause something terrible has happened. You haven't cried like that since Shirley's death. So tell me what's causing you pain I want to help you get through it." He said as he brought you into a hug you began to explain everything about the call and how everyone is missing. By the end, he seems to understand why you wanted permission to go back to the W-0 base.

"I'll try to convince Nunnanlly to give us full permission to go back. After all, it's involving her brother." He said as he kissed your head.

"Suzaku" you lean in to kiss him passionately. When you pulled away for air he had lust written in his eyes.

"Are you trying to seduce me? Because if you are then I'll take manners to my own hands and make the pain in your heart fade away." He said as he pushed you down on the bed.

"Suzaku can you make it go away the pain I feel." You asked as he placed his hand on your cheek.

His warm hand felt so relaxing and calm. You felt safe in his arms that no one can ever replace him. The only person to make you feel the love that you were one of a kind.

"If that's what my princess wants then I'll make the pain go away and let pleasure take control." He said as he went to kiss you.

Suzaku POV

I saw her sleeping so calmly my beautiful princess. I still can't believe our son is still asleep maybe he's a heavy sleeper like me. Yet I doubt that if we're both light sleepers.

"Suzaku are you okay." My princess asked. As she got up with the sheet covering her body.

"Yeah, I am just admiring my beautiful princess sleeping peacefully. How I caught you is a mystery but I'm glad I caught you." I said as pulled her to hug her close.

"Suzaku you still have the most cheesy words to say after all these years. And let me remind you I am no princess I'm a knight. Even if I have a medical experience that I wasted five years to perfect only to end up in the military as a knight of the round. Which I ended up as the knight of 7 the number you once had. So explain how in the world did I end up wasting my time on something and I ended up doing something else." She said as I laugh at the irony how her experience as a knight of the round and a well-known medic on the field.

"Well, how else will you be able to heal people in unknown areas where there's no one to save their lives. I say you have the best of both worlds. Now stop complaining and let's get clean up. I'll even help you wash your back if you wash mine."

"I can clean myself without any help. Plus you might make that another round which I for one don't think it's a good idea when our son can wake up at any minute." She said with her adorable pout she has.

"Alright, but to make it quick we'll still take it together." I grabbed her with the sheets still covering her body.

"Suzaku put me down this is embarrassing." She said with a blush.

"I don't care after all only I can see you like this and no one else can. So let's go shower and I promise not to make it another round." I said as she blushed at how stubborn I can be.

'As her husband, I'll do anything to keep her happy.'
