Susaku POV

'When will this be over I want time to spend with my princess.' I looked up at the sky since I was to stay at home until we figure this case out. Also in case someone came when we weren't around I would stop them. I'm glad I can some time off but at the same time I'm sad. The reason why is because my lovely wife wasn't here to spend the day with me.

Rolo and Romeo are getting ready for bed. While Lelouch was washing the dishes and C.C was watching TV. That leaves me with nothing to do except look at the stars. We had dinner but my princess had to Do something before coming home.

"Hey Suzaku you should come in and watch this." C.C said from the door way.

"What's wrong?" She increased the volume and we saw that general of EE.UU military proclaiming the deaths of his soldiers and declaring a Coup d'état on Britannia.

"I'm home you guys won't believe what happen today." My princess said as she came into the living room but heard the news.

"Hey that's general Smilas what's that man up to now?" She said while she looked at the writing on the screen.

"Seems he's declared Coup d'etat he isn't much of a threat with peace over every country. Who would want to join him and disturb the peace?" C.C said.

"Probably Schniezel I found this inside a vase he brought to Nanunlly office and had a camera. There's no doubt about it he knows something and it's involves with Smilas." I began to worry if what we think is true no doubt about it.

"We need to increase the security for Nunnally. She could be in danger and at any moment they could attack the palace at any moment." I inform them knowing that Schniezel may be up to something now.

"We should also call and warn Jeremiah he is close to her right now since he was to report how things are for the other survivors." My princess said as I got up and went to our room.

'Why can't people just be happy with the way things are right now?'

Your POV

When you finally got off the phone you notice Suzaku was missing. You headed to your room and saw him sitting on the his side of the bed head down. It worried you a lot you closed the door quietly and walked over to his side and hugged him. Since you were standing his head rested on your chest. He would usually come around and say something cheesy or perverted about your chest. Yet he didn't say anything he just closed his eyes and hugged you closer.

"Everything going to be okay have faith alright. It will soon be over and we can live in peace like before." You said as you began to pet his hair. His hair was soft and smooth you would always do this to clam him down back when you were kids. Even today you still do it as well for Rolo whenever he gets sick.

"I know but still I... never mind stay here with me just for a bit." He said as he pulled you to lay on the bed pulled you in for a hug.

'He's really not himself right now and I don't blame him one bit. We've lived such a peaceful life up until now. So of course he's all anxious like this we haven't fought in such a long time. The last time we did it was against Akito brother Shin and we won that battle. Yet something isn't right one bit about this whole thing and it's been bothering me a lot. How did Schniezel and Smilas meet? Better yet how do they communicate with each other?'

"Hey princess can I ask you something?" Suzaku said out of the blue pulling me back to reality.

"Go ahead and ask away I'm listing." I looked into his amazing green eyes.

"Do you hate me for being Zero?" He asked as you sigh pulled his face close towards mine. Until your forehead was against his forehead.

"At first I did since it what kept you apart from me for so long. Yet after all this time together I don't hate you being Zero."

"Still I can't go anywhere with you without using a disguise. Or spend time with our family." He seem really torn about it but you push him to lay on his back and you layed on top of him. You listen to his heartbeat and it was going fast. You began to smile the thought that you can make him feel like this.

"I don't care as long as we're together and have moment like this. Plus did Lelouch ask you this? You know how he is when it comes to finding the truth." He smile and flip you over for him to be on top. It was shocking at first but you were use to his mischief side.

"Of course I know that but still that also made me think about your oppion on this. Yet your really okay with this? With me being Zero?" His eyes held sadness in them. You haven't seen those eyes in such a long.

"Suzaku if I wasn't okay with this I wouldn't have married you. I love you and if you want I can prove it right here right now." You look deep into his eyes and guided his lips to your lips.

'I won't allow his heart begin to shatter. Not now not ever.'

Time skip

Suzaku POV

After our very own special time together I clean up as I let my princess sleep more. I just hope no one heard us even though it's night people can still hear us.

"Suzaku... what are you doing up?" She try to get back up with the sheet covering her chest.

"I'm just going to get some water do you want me to get you some?" She smiled and nodded. I put some pajama pants on.

"I'll be right back just go back to sleep." I kissed her forehead and went to the kitchen. I saw Lelouch there smiling at me as he hold a glass of water.

"Well now I guess quality time with your wife release stress you have. Well as long you guys don't make too much noise I won't tease you both." Lelouch said as he went back to his room. I froze for a few minutes the thought that he heard us made worried if the kids heard us. I grab our glasses of water and went to our room hoping she was asleep but it seems she stayed up.

"He heard us didn't he?" She asked as I nodded as she smiled.

"Well at least he knows I married someone who can make me happy." She said making me smile.

"Here and let's go back to sleep." She smiled and grab the glass and place it on the night stand. I went back to bed scoot closer to her. She had one of my shirts on to cover her body and looked amazing on her.

"You know Suzaku if you ever have something that is bothering. You can just tell me and I'll do whatever I can to help you." She said as she place her head on my chest.

"Right thanks for everything. I love you."

"I love you too. Now let's go to sleep." I smiled and closed my eyes.

'My princess can be very sweet when she wants to be. I am so lucky to have her by my side.'
