Your POV

You could feel someone arms hugging tightly. Like they didn't want to let go of you with the fear of being gone forever. You open your eyes and see your loving husband and his cute sleeping face.

'I better get up to make breakfast. My poor knight has been working too hard these past days.' You try to get out of his grip but ended up getting pulled closer to his chest.

"Stop moving I don't have work today so we'll sleep in." He mumbled.

"Suzaku you may not have work but I'm still a mother. After all, you don't want Rolo to come in and see you like this." You said as he open his eyes.

"Let him I want to spend time with my princess." He said using that old nickname he gave you years ago. You still think this may be some kind of dream that you never want to wake up from.

"Suzaku if I don't get up then how will you eat." He smiled as lean in to whisper in your ear.

"I'll eat like that time you breastfeed Rolo. And right now I'm getting a little hungry." He said as he lean down closer to your chest.

"Mommy, can I have some breakfast?" Rolo said as he rubbed his eyes. He was in his onesie cat pajamas that you got for him.

"I wish I could but daddy is keeping mommy as a prisoner. Help rescue mommy my little knight." You said as Rolo ran and jump on Suzaku helping you escape.

"I have defeated the bad knight and have rescued my mommy." He said as Suzaku played dead.

"Oh great mighty knight I thank you for my rescue and as a reward, I give you a kiss and your favorite breakfast." You said as he smiled and jumped up on the bed.

"Yeah, mommy's special pancakes." He said as he left the room to wash his face and teeth.

"Honestly he's the same as when we were kids," Suzaku said as he got up.

"Well, mostly you," you said as you went to wash your teeth and face.

"Please I was a good boy."

"No, you were the boy who loves to get into fights all day long. Which most of them ended up with me fixing you up." You said as you finish washing your face.

"True but hey I got stronger."

"If only your brain works as fast as your mouth." You mumbled as he laugh. You walled into the kitchen and began to make the pancakes and started making the coffee to wake up. You ran out of mint leaves to make mint tea and other things.

'Guess we need grocery I'll go after breakfast.'

"Hey, Suzaku I'm going shopping later today. Do we need anything that we ran out of?" You asked as you started to make a list of groceries.

"Not that could think of just the basic I guess." He said as he came in and hugged you. He was very attached to you ever since Rolo was born. Probably because you gave your full attention to your son all the time.

"You sure nothing comes into mind?" You asked as you felt him hug you closer.

"I could think of few things to do with strawberries and whip cream and a few others." He said as he began to kiss your neck.

"You know you're being a major pervert right now." You said ad he continue to kiss you.

"True but I haven't been cured properly. So what are you going to do my princess?"

"Well for starters I'll tie you up in that chair if you don't let me cook breakfast properly. Secondly, try to wait until our son is asleep and doesn't know where babies come from." You said as he smiled at how cute you be when you're angry.

"Fine I'll behave then as for tonight don't be angry or else I'll have to take manner into my own hands." He said as walked away to the table.

'Sometimes I wonder if he was always like this?' You thought as you continue to make breakfast.

"Rolo come and eat your breakfast before your dad comes and eats it." You said as he came and took his seat. You place the pancakes he loves so much.

"Thank you mommy for the food." He said as he smiled.

"Wait and none for me that's so mean of you princess," Suzaku said as he sees Rolo eating his happily.

"Calm down I'll get yours in a bit." You said as you brought his plate and yours.

Time skip

You finally came back from the store and bought all the things in the store. Even what Suzaku asked for which embarrassed you the most, but lucky for you the cashier saw your wedding ring and smiled at how sweet it was for you to get them for your husband. You place everything where it is supposed to be. Then your son came with the phone in his hand.

"Mommy someone calling you," Rolo said as you got the phone from him.

"Hello?"

"Hello ma'am it's Lord Jeremiah we got news from the W-0 base and unfortunately it was under attack." He said.

"What that can't be true." You said in shock about the news.

"We just got a call from the head of the military over in Paris where they were station at. He didn't give much detail to what happened to the crew but they counted the cooks and janitors were killed. The staff however went missing as well as those two." Jeremiah said.

"I see but if I may I would like to go and search for them. After all, they're like family to me and my husband." I said with determination.

"You may have to ask the empress for permission. I'm just only passing a message that's all."

"Thank you for informing me, sir." You said as you know it is hard to get permission.

"You're welcome and have a nice day." He hung up and you just remove the phone away from your ear.

'This can't be true all my friends are gone. Who could have done this? I know they wouldn't just be killed for nothing. Wait if those two weren't found that means they're in hiding now.'

"Mommy are you okay?" Rolo asked as you kneeled next to him and hugged him.

"Mommy is fine just a bit sad that's all." You said as you kept all your emotions in to not show weakness.

'I need to go and see what is left on the base.'
