After destroying the drain crystal a couple of minutes ago and it was now night time. So right now, you, Ricca, and Iris were heading to the settlement to where the location of the other villages are.

Upon crossing the destroyed bridge, in front of you three was a wall and it's about six feet tall to climb above.

Ricca: The bridge is broken...That's too bad. Crossing this valley was the closest path to the foot of the mountain. It's a little too high to get over...It'll take us a bit more time, but let's find a path where the terrain is lower.

(Y/N): Rather than finding another path, how about we can just boost each other up?

Ricca: Oh yeah. One of us will have to climb someone's shoulder and get up there and then pull your partner back up once you reach the top!

Iris: Hold on, you two. As much as I like to agree with that idea, but Ricca has the power to climb this cliff now.

(Y/N): Huh?

Ricca: What do you mean?

You and Ricca asked in confusion.

Iris: You two got a lot of Magic Stones from defeating the golem and destroying the Drain Crystal, right? Both of you can use them here.

(Y/N): Okay, and how do we suppose to do that?

Iris: Just listen to what I have to say. It'll help us get to her faster.

Ricca: Alright...I'll listen.

Iris: Hold up. (Y/N) doesn't have the power of the holy knight, so Ricca here will have to follow my instructions.

(Y/N): Eh...very well then.

Iris: First, you put your hand on the ornament on your chest...The red stone shaped like the sun on your brooch.

Ricca: Like this?

Ricca then places her hand on the brooch.

Iris: Exactly. Now don't move. Hah!

Suddenly, Iris starts to glow as you covered your eyes from the bright light. This goes on for a few moments until the bright light faded out.

Iris: Alright, that should do.

(Y/N): Huh? What just happened?

Ricca: Ah, I was just upgrading my skills, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Your skills?

Ricca: Yeah.

Iris: Let me explain, once you gain enough magic stones, Ricca will gain new skills and upgrades. Ricca has now learned magic sword throwing.

(Y/N): Wait, for real?

Ricca: Yeah. I just got an upgrade, (Y/N).

You looked at her and then at the brooch as you began to thought to yourself.

(Y/N): (Did she just went off buy skills on that brooch? Feels like I'm in some sort of an RPG game right now. But this world isn't some kind of a video style-ish like I have seen in anime...)

Ricca: Umm...can you not stare at me, please?

(Y/N): Oh uh, sorry about that. I was just thinking about what you said.

Iris: *Sigh* Let's just get a move on.

Ricca: So...can I throw my sword here like earlier to get over this cliff?

Iris: Yes, when you throw your magic sword, it can lodge into a vertical cliff and act as a foothold.

(Y/N): I see...

Ricca then throws the magic sword into the wall and it sticks into the wall. Ricca then jumps onto it and jumped again to reach the top.

Ricca: (Y/N), come on.

Ricca says as she kneels down at the edge of the wall and reached out her hand to you..

You then climbed up the magic sword that Ricca thrown into the wall as reached your hand out and grabbed onto Ricca's hand as she helps you to pull you upwards above the wall.

(Y/N): Ngh...thanks.

Ricca: You're welcome.

Iris: Be careful with how much you use it, though. You can also throw it to attack faraway enemies, but it's not very powerful, and it consumes magic every time you use it.

(Y/N): Basically like using a bow and arrows?

Iris: Exactly.

While processing through the area and defeating monsters in the way, the three of you found a human who was hiding behind wooden debris.

It was a human soldier who was scared for his life upon fighting the monsters. You and Ricca tell him that he shouldn't give up and run somewhere else safe. The soldier complied until you asked him to where the human settlement was.

The soldier gave you the location on where it is as you and Ricca thanked him until he eventually walked off.

Ricca: Um...Iris...Why do you think the goblins kidnapped my sister?

Iris: Well, what does your sister look like?

Ricca: What does she look like...? She...Miria has...We both have the same hair and eye color, but she braids her hair in the back...And she ties it with the same kind of ribbon as me - the blue one Polon picked up earlier.

Iris: Do you two have similar faces and figures?

Ricca: I guess you could say so...But Miria is taller and bustier. The men around her are always staring at her breasts...

(Y/N): (You really didn't have to say that at the last part...)

Iris: Does she wear any accessories?

(Y/N): Well, Ricca gave her a pink heart-shaped gem necklace a few days ago.

Iris: Pink, huh...? If it was a reddish color, it's possible...But why...?

(Y/N): Hold up, did you just say "why?" at the last part? Do you know about that gem?

Iris: ...N-No, not really...

(Y/N): (That's odd. Why'd she stuttered?)

Iris: Sorry, Ricca. I don't know why your sister was taken.

Ricca: Oh...Okay...

Later, the three of you found the Drain Crystal and eventually destroyed it.

Iris: If you break Drain Crystals like this, it should reduce the number of monsters, too.

Ricca: Okay...Phew...We have to hurry and find Miria...

The three of you continued to move on until you and Ricca started to feel exhausted and Iris took notice of this.

Iris: You two look quite worn out. We should stop and take a break.

Ricca: B-But...my sister... I have to hurry...!

(Y/N): N-No...Iris is right...It's already nighttime and if we keep moving while being exhausted, we'll pass out.

Ricca: I-I don't wanna...We don't know what the goblins could be doing to her...!

Ricca was about to continue moving forward, but you stopped her is by doing a full nelson.

(Y/N): Hey, I know you're worried about her, but people like us need to take some rest!

Ricca: No, let me go...!

Ricca says as she struggles to break free, but you already knew that she has an immense strength of a holy knight, so you couldn't hold her for that long.

(Y/N): Iris, help...!

Iris then flies over to Ricca and grabs the brooch from her until her holy knight armor reverted back to her village outfit.

Ricca: Huh...? Haa, haa...My form...I returned...to normal...

Iris: I lifted the transformation.

You then let go of Ricca and spoke up to her.

Ricca: Ngh...Haa...Why...?

Iris: You know you've been running around and fighting in your holy knight form since we left the village, right?

Ricca: Haa...Ha...I know...So what...?

Iris: This magic item I gave you...The holy knight's brooch uses the wearer's magic to draw out holy power from the earth and sky. In other words, this brooch is the source of the holy power used to defeat demons. It's a very precious item, so handle it with care, okay?

Ricca: O-Okay...Huff...Haa...So...What then...?

Iris: The brooch uses the magic within you to fuel holy knight powers. To put it another way, every time you wield the holy knight's power, it chips away at your own magic. When you run out of magic energy, you lose your holy knight abilities. I don't expect that you will exhaust your magic, as long as you don't use it recklessly or over a long period of time.

Ricca: Okay...I see...Thanks...for telling me that...

(Y/N): Hehehe...reminds of Super Saiyan 3.

Iris: What's that?

(Y/N): Oh nothing, just fictional stuff from my home world.

Iris: Okay then. Anyway, you seem to have as much magic as any regular human...It's clear to me that you're running low on both magic and stamina from your unsteady feet.

Ricca: Haa..Haa...

Iris: That's why you should rest in your normal form and restore your magic.

Ricca: But...I have to get to my sister...

Iris: Do you really want to barge into a horde of monsters in that form? We don't even know what kinds of monsters are waiting for us ahead.

Ricca: But...the goblins took my sister...They could be doing awful things to her as we speak...!

You sighed and facepalmed at Ricca's stubbornness.

Iris: I understand that you're worried, but if they're intending to rape her, she probably won't be killed. Besides...

Ricca: R-Rape...!? My sister...!? No, I can't let that happen...!

At this point, you were almost about to snap, but you still remained calm.

Iris: Let me finish! I think those goblins kidnapped your sister for a different purpose.

(Y/N): Oh yeah...that's a possible theory.

Iris: Indeed. Now think about it. They even brought a golem to attack the village. If they just wanted to kidnap a random human, it would have been easier to ambush one of the road.

Ricca: Then why did they take away Miria...? My sister is...She's good at cooking and is a bit of a worrywart, but she's just a normal girl...

(Y/N): That's the question. The goblin captain didn't say what purpose that he kidnapped your sister back when the village was in destruction, remember?

Ricca: Oh yeah, you're right.

Iris: Your sister's a real beauty, right? Maybe they're going to give her to Arch-Lich as a gift...Whatever the reason, you need to rest now so you have the energy to catch up to them and find out.

(Y/N): Yeah. Come on, Ricca. Let's stop and camp out here, okay?

Iris: Good. You two really need the break.

You said with an annoyed look on your face.

Iris: Well then...Heehee...If that's settled, we'd better prepare.

Ricca: What...?

Iris: First, Ricca, go collect some branches we can use for firewood. (Y/N), go beat a slime and hell beetle, and bring them over here.

Ricca: Huh...?

You then realized what Iris was talking about.

(Y/N): Oh, I see...are we using slime and hell beetle for food?

Iris: Correct, but you have to knock them out first, rather than kill them.

(Y/N): ...I see.

Ricca: (Ugh, Iris...For someone who told me to rest, she sure works me hard...She's not gentle, and she's sort of scary. She's not like how I imagined fairies to be...)

(Y/N): Come on, Ricca. Let's go and get the requirements.

A couple of minutes later, you and Ricca managed to get all of the requirements to camp out for the night.

So right now, Ricca was resting on the dirty ground while you and Iris were waiting for the hell beetle legs to be cooked.

While waiting, you let out a deep sigh as Iris took notice of this.

Iris: Hm? Something wrong?

(Y/N): Sorry...it's just that I'm starting to miss my home world and I've been in this world for over a week already.

Iris: Is it because you're not used to this world, yet?

(Y/N): Just a little though. Been learning a bit of history and some stuff in Ricca's village for a while.

Iris: Huh, I see.

(Y/N): Say...how strong is Arch-Lich?

Iris: Pretty strong that only the Holy Knight can beat him. It's what you at least expect is by reading a fairy tale book. What about you? Do you have monsters or anything in your home world?

(Y/N): No monsters, my home world in the 21st century is a peaceful place, but it's not always like that. I mean, you can expect bad things happen someday. Like crime, war, and disastrous things.

Iris: Huh...guess strange things have happened, isn't it?

(Y/N): Hehe, probably.

Iris: Oh? Dinner's ready, can you wake Ricca up?

(Y/N): Sure.

You went over to wake up Ricca until you see that her body was trembling and you can notice her expression...and that is...fear.

Ricca: N-No...please...stop it...! (Y/N)...Miria...help me...!

Ricca muttered in her sleep out of fear and desperation.

(Y/N): (Is she having a nightmare? Better wake her up.) Ricca, wake up now! Ricca!

You called out to her while shaking her.

(Y/N): Ricca, get up now, it's already dinnertime.

And just like that, Ricca opens her eyes instantly and lets out a gasp of shock.

Ricca: Ah...!

(Y/N): Hey, you're awake now.

You said with a smile on your face.

Ricca: (Y.../N...)...?

Ricca says your name as she sat up and holds her stomach.

Ricca: (My mouth...my throat...even inside my body, inside my stomach...It's filled with the goblins' dirty...)

(Y/N): Hey, you doing good? You had a nightmare.

You asked in a slightly concerned tone until Iris comes in.

Iris: Oh, you're awake now. It's already dinnertime, come on.

Iris gestures until Ricca gets up and walks away.

Iris: Hey, wait...! Where are you going!?

Ricca: Don't come...Uugh...Ngh...Haa...

Ricca says as she walks away, feeling disgusted.

Iris: What was that all about?

(Y/N): She must've got a nightmare. I'll go and check up on her.

Iris: Well, hurry now. I don't want to be standing out here alone.

You nodded in reply as you went off to check on Ricca.

It wasn't that long to find her as you see her kneeling down near the edge of the water.

(Y/N): Hey...you okay?

Ricca: (Y-Y/N)...! I thought I told you to not follow me...

(Y/N): I'm your friend and friends must look out for each other, alright?

You said as Ricca still looked down at the waters. You then kneel down next to her and spoke up.

(Y/N): You don't look too good. What happened in that dream of yours? Care to tell?

You asked as Ricca stays silent.

(Y/N): Is it about the goblins "messing" with you?

You guessed as you can hear a quiet gasp from Ricca.

Ricca: Y...You didn't have to guess that...

(Y/N): Sorry.

You said, feeling a little guilty until you hear Ricca start to puke on the water.

Ricca: Uuugh...Uuff...Bleeeeh....

(Y/N): Oh jeez, you gotta at least give me a warning before puking!

Ricca: Bleeeeh....H-Heehee...

(Y/N): Ugh...

You grunted in disgust as you started patting Ricca in the back. This goes on for a few moments before Ricca eventually stopped puking.

Ricca: Ugh...thanks (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Y-Yeah...don't mention it...

Ricca: By the way...

(Y/N): What's up?

Ricca: You did guess about my dream correctly or...should I say a nightmare...I'll tell you about it.

(Y/N): As long as there isn't any "messy" stuff in there.

Ricca then shortly explains the dream she had.

(Y/N): I see. You thought it was all a dream and nothing really had happened until you appeared back in the church and the goblins were there.

Ricca: Yeah...and here I am...wondering how I got into this mess with you and Iris...

(Y/N): Hehe, same here, but your prime objective is to find Miria. After that, we can get to the original objective that the Holy Knight left behind.

Ricca: Maybe, but I'm scared that this "Arch-Lich" person is stronger than us.

Ricca says with a bit of worry.

(Y/N): I already asked Iris about it, and yeah, Arch-Lich is strong. You're just a normal village girl and God chose you to become the Holy Knight. I, on the other hand, am just your average high-school student trying to make a living in life with a protective entity that possesses me until I arrived here.

Ricca: Yeah...

(Y/N): Anyway, let's head back to camp. Iris is waiting for us.

Ricca: *Nods* Mm.

Upon coming back to the camp, the three of you were now eating hell beetle legs for dinner.

Iris: How's the hell beetle leg? Pretty good, huh? I can't believe you humans don't eat these.

(Y/N): Funny...

Ricca: Well...it's okay...It's hard to swallow when I think about how this was part of that big bug...Regular bugs are a delicacy in my village though. They're pretty popular with travelers.

Iris: How about the mucus juice? I made it by filtering the center part of a slime.

Ricca: S-Slime, huh...(Urk...I don't like it and it's even squirming...Is this really drinkable...!? B-But...Ugh, oww...Iris isn't my sister. I shouldn't be a picky eater around her...)

Ricca thought to herself until she hears gulping beside her as she turned to her right and see you drinking the mucus juice.

(Y/N): Ahh...

Ricca: S-So...how does it taste?

(Y/N): Mmm...it's not bad, I can feel it tingle down my throat, a little ticklish though, hehe.

You said with a slight grin on your face and Ricca was surprised upon hearing your words.

Ricca: Ehh? It's not that bad?

(Y/N): Yeah. Try it out for yourself.

Ricca: O-Okay...bottoms up...!

Ricca then drinks the mucus juice.

Iris: That mucus juice is a common drink in my village. It's quite good, don't you love how it tingles?

Ricca: W-Well...It sure does tingle...and wiggle down my throat...It's so slimy...Hey, this won't move around in my stomach later, will it...?

Iris: Of course not. Heehee, you humans can be so silly. Heehee...

Ricca: ... (Even though Iris is attractive with a pretty voice like Miria, she's not kind like her at all. Or so I thought...)

Iris: Oh...Hehehe, it looks like you two have green mustaches. Ahahaha! You both look like a village elderly couple....heehee...

Ricca: (When she laughs, she's so cute. It's too bad she said she doesn't like pranks...)

(Y/N): Wait, what?

You and Ricca looked at each other and see green slimy mustaches until the two of you started laughing together until the three of you stopped laughing.

Ricca: (Yeah....She's a little scary...but she doesn't seem like a bad person...I mean, a bad fairy...)

Ricca: ... (But...can I really be the holy knight...? Can I take on such an important role...?)

Ricca thought to herself as she turn back to look at you.

Ricca: ((Y/N) is just a normal human who got possessed by a Stand, Hierophant Green. I guess he and I are just a little different from each other.)

Iris: Hehehe...Hell beetle with slime juice makes the perfect meal. I was right to have you hunt them down, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Eh, it's not a big deal.

Ricca: (Uugh...I still feel like I have something left inside my body...And it's not the slime...I hope the slime juice pushes it out of me...(Y/N) and I are the only ones who can save Miria...I have to stay positive...)

Ricca thought to herself as she drank the mucus juice as all of you started to have a conversation with each other and talk about random stuff.

Throughout the conversation, Iris asked who were Ricca and Miria's parents until Ricca tells Iris what happened to them.

Iris: I see...So you lost both your parents...I'm sorry for bringing back sad memories.

Ricca: It's okay. I was little and I don't remember much about them, anyway. Besides, I've always had Miria around, so I wasn't lonely at all, and I had friends like Olivia and Polon to play with...

(Y/N): What about you, Iris? Got any family? Friends? Siblings?

Ricca: Or perhaps fairies are born from flowers?

Iris: What, flowers? Heehee, of course not. We're born from our mothers, just like humans. My parents and grandparents should be doing well in the neighboring village, but I've been so busy serving God, that I haven't had the chance to visit them latey.

(Y/N): I mean, that's just part of life, y'know?

Iris: Yeah. Oh...And I have a younger brother...

Ricca: Younger brother?

Iris: Yes, he's around the same age as you two...

Ricca: Hmm...a boy fairy, huh? Do all fairies look like you, Iris?

You chuckled at Ricca's words.

Iris: ...It isn't. Anyway, that human soldier said something about a settlement in the forest. Do you think it's far from here?

Ricca: Huh...? Yeah, I think it'll take us about half a day to get there. Oh, but if I head there in my holy knight form, we might get there sooner. I can run much faster when I transform.

(Y/N): Hey, I'd get left behind if you run too fast, Ricca...

Ricca: Don't worry, I won't leave you behind.

(Y/N): You'd better be.

Iris: Hehe, then you could run even faster without armor. It seems like this area doesn't have strong monsters. It should be no problem if you're lightly dressed.

Ricca: What? So you want me to take off the armor after I transform into a knight? But that armor's white and shiny. It must be expensive...

Iris: Teehee...No, you just have to transform into a holy knight without forming the armor.

Ricca: What?

Iris: When you transform with the brooch, imagine yourself only wearing the blue dress. You should be able to transform based on that mental image.

Ricca: Wow, I didn't know I could do that! This brooch is amazing. Huh...? If I can transform into whatever I imagine, does that mean I can change into other forms?

(Y/N): Whoa, it's just like one of those video game customization avatars!

Ricca: Vide...oh...game?

(Y/N): Yeah, take my casual clothes from the 21st century as an example. Basically, you wear something that is fashionable for your taste.

Iris; Indeed. If you can imagine it, you can change not just your clothes, but your face and body, even the color of your skin.

Ricca: Even my face and body...? Wow...Oh, is that the reason why my breasts get a little bigger when I transform...?

Iris: Teehee...That must be your ideal form.

Ricca: ...

Iris: When you transform into a different outfit for the first time, you'll have to consume a lot of magic to make the outfit from scratch. Just like strengthening your abilities, you'll need to collect a lot of Magic Stones to do this.

(Y/N): *Smirks* Feels like you'll be doing a lot of shopping, Ricca.

Ricca: Ahahaha, yeah...

Iris: The holy knight's armor and gauntlets provide great defense thanks to their divine protection, but they're a little heavy. When you're traveling a long distance or dealing with a fast monster, you might want to change into your lightweight form.
