-No One's P.O.V-

After reuniting with Ricca who turned into a Holy Knight, you were shocked at her strength that she took down the monsters with ease.

Later on, the two of you defeated all of the monsters who were infesting the village until you and Ricca found the weakened Donnie lying at the gate.

(Y/N): Hey, isn't that Donny?

Donnie: Ugh...

Ricca: Donny! Are you alright!?

(Y/N): Hey, what the hell happened?

Donnie: U-Ugh...Outside the village...Rock...monster...coming towards...village...

(Y/N): Rock monster?

Donnie: Y-Yeah...

And then suddenly, he starts to lose consciousness.

Ricca: Donny...!?

Fairy: He fainted...

Ricca: We have to get him somewhere safe...

Fairy: He was saying something about a monster outside of the village. I sense strong magical energy, too...We should check it out.

(Y/N): Alright, let's go.

The two of you pressed on until you two found three goblins in front of you both.

Goblin Captain: You again!?

(Y/N): Well if it isn't the ugly man himself! I thought you'd turn tail and run just like your other minions!

Goblin Captain: Grr...!

Ricca: That goblin...He's the one who was standing in front of our house and commanding the others...

(Y/N): That's the captain, alright.

Fairy: You're right. He's the one who controlled the goblins.

Goblin Captain: Huh...? That hair, those eyes, that gem on your brooch...! You're the woman Master Arch-Lich was looking for!

Ricca: Ark-Rich...? Looking for...? What are you talking about...?

(Y/N): He said, "You're the woman Master Arch-Lich was looking for!"

Ricca: Eh? Arch-Lich?

(Y/N): Yup, that's what he said.

Fairy: Well-

Suddenly, all of you felt the rumbling in the ground.

Ricca: Eep...! What...?! What's this rumble from the ground...!?

(Y/N): Is there an earthquake going on or something!?

Goblin Captain: Hmph! You finally came back! My wonderful familiar, gifted by Master Arch-Lich himself!

All of you looked to your left and see something jumping in the air and landed in front of you.

Ricca: Eeeep!

(Y/N): Whoa...is that a golem?!

Fairy: Indeed. It's a rock monster brought to life by magic...

Goblin Captain: Golem! We've been told to capture her alive! When you catch her, use your giant arms to break her joints so she can't escape! Oh and destroy the human male next to her!

Ricca: Huh...? Break my joints...N-No, you can't...

(Y/N): Your golem may be strong, but us weaklings can beat it on our own!

Goblin Captain: Khehehe! So strong-willed for two pipsqueaks...A fairy, huh? Golem. Crush her like a fly!

Fairy: Blockheads like you...don't stand a chance against the holy knight of God!

Goblin Captain: Ghehehe! I like feisty women like you...but your puny wouldn't make a satisfying toy! You wouldn't even fill me up for breakfast!

(Y/N): You can just eat shit for breakfast, that's how I see it!

Goblin Captain: Hmph, a human male like you can talk trash, but you'll take those words back on your own!

(Y/N): Try us then.

Goblin Captain: Hey, Golem! Go catch the bigger woman and take her to our hideout! Even if she's not the woman Master Arch-Lich wants, we can definitely use her body!

Ricca: (Use my body...? D-Does he mean he's going to pin me down and rape me again like I was in the church...? Soil me...and hurt me...)

Ricca thought to herself as a flash of an image came back in her mind of how she was a raped weakling back then.

(Y/N): Hey Ricca, quit imagining weird stuff in your head. Stay focused!

Ricca: A-Ah, r-right!

Goblin Captain: Ghehehe! I gotta report this to Master Arch-Lich...See ya, little runts!

Fairy: Wha...Wh-Who are you calling a runt!? Ugh...You think I'm just going to take that?! I'll show you...!

(Y/N): Calm down, Fairy. Throwing a fit isn't gonna help out.

Suddenly, the three of you noticed the three goblins leaving.

Ricca: Ah...where are you going!? Where did you take my sister...!?

Fairy: Don't get distracted! Watch out!

(Y/N): Here it comes! Get ready!

The Golem started charging at you two as you and Ricca started fighting against the Golem.

-One Battle Later-

It didn't take long to finish off the Stone Golem as the monsters disappears into the thin air.

So right now, you, Ricca, and the Fairy decided to look around for the remaining survivors of the monster invasion. However, there were none other than the General Store Lady and Soldier Donnie.

While finding the remaining survivors, Ricca then starts to cry her eyes out after finding all of the dead bodies of the people she knew since childhood.

(Y/N): Hey Ricca, can't find any survivors. Any luck on yours?

Ricca: N-No...there's no one else...

(Y/N): *Sighs* Well shit.

That's when the long-blue-haired fairy comes in.

Fairy: Hey, you two.

(Y/N): Found more survivors, little fairy?

Fairy: Nope. I went around the village again, but other than the two we found earlier, I didn't find any humans alive.

Ricca: Oh...okay...where did they take Miria...?

(Y/N): Hey, remember that goblin captain told us that they captured her, yeah? They must've hid her somewhere else. I'm sure we can find her.

You said in a reassuring voice to Ricca.

Ricca: Yeah...maybe you're right...

General Store Lady: U-Um...Ricca...? (Y/N)...?

Ricca: Oh....Ma'am...You're hurt...are you okay?

General Store Lady: Yes...It isn't too bad. Don't worry.

Donnie: Looks like all the monsters are gone from the village.

(Y/N): *Nods* Hm. So it seems.

Ricca: Donny...Should you even be moving...?

Donnie: Hahaha...Well, I don' think I have a choice, I'm fine.

(Y/N): Hehe, tough guy, aren't 'cha?

Donnie: Yeah, thanks.

(Y/N): Anyways. Ricca, can you explain what happened on how did you turn into a Holy Knight with the help of this fairy?

You asked her.

Ricca: Yeah...I'll explain...

-One Explanation Later-

During the explanation, everyone was quite shocked (except for the Fairy) about Ricca's situation on the church with the goblins.

Ricca: ...and then the next thing I knew, I was enveloped in white light at the church, and I transformed into this form...

General Store Lady: I see...

Donnie: I can't believe it...It's just like a fairy tale...

Fairy: Hmph.

Donnie: But I guess I have to believe you after seeing that fairy...

(Y/N): Hey, are you feeling okay after...you know?

Ricca: It was horrible...I had to endure it...

You honestly feel really terrible for her as you started to pat her back to comfort Ricca.

(Y/N): There, there...everything's okay. You've got us with you, yeah?

Ricca: Yeah...thanks...

General Store Lady: Ricca...(Y/N)...

Ricca: Hm?

(Y/N): What's up?

General Store Lady: I saw them...I saw the goblins take away a girl with chestnut-colored hair from the direction of the church...

Ricca: Wha...!? Ma'am is that true!?

General Store Lady: Y-Yes...Those clothes..That hair...It had to be Miria...!

(Y/N): Oh yeah, I remember that Miria said that she's going to clean the church in the afternoon.

Ricca: B-But what would the goblins want from her...?

General Store Lady: I'm sorry...I wasn't sure about it at the time, and I was too shocked to bring it up until now...

Fairy: That goblin leader was trying to capture you, too. I don't know what their taste in girls is...but if your sister's a young woman, it wouldn't be strange of them to kidnap her.

Ricca: (Young woman...Are they going to assault Miria...just like they assaulted me in the church...? No...)

General Store Lady: Ricca...Please...Please save Miria from the goblins...!

Donnie: I think you should go looking for her too. You and (Y/N) defeated that rock monster by the village entrance, right? If you two were able to take him on, I'm sure you both can save Miria. Those goblins came from the foot of the mountain. They must be the same group that attacked the settlement there, too. You might be able to get some information about the settlers.

Ricca: ....Um...are you two going to stay here in the village...? There might still be monsters around here...?

General Store Lady: ...I think I saw some people flee into the mountains, so we're going to look for them and join them.

Donnie: I'm not as strong as you two...but I can take on a goblin or two by myself. Go on, Ricca...Find Miria and save her.

Ricca: But...I can't leave you two alone...And what'll happen to the village and the village and the bodies of the people who died...?

(Y/N): Hey kid, you have to grow up and stay strong to the people who you cared about it. Miria would want that too, you gotta learn how to be independent.

Donnie: (Y/N)'s right. The good little Ricca I know always listens to grown-ups.

Ricca: ...I'm sorry...I'm...I'm going to look for Miria...*Sniff* I'm sorry...

(Y/N): You don't have to apologize. You gotta find your sister, both you and her are precious siblings, isn't it?

Donnie: I know how often she prayed at church. God must have transformed you into that form so you could save her.

Ricca paused for a moment and then looks at you and asked...

Ricca: What are you going to do now, (Y/N)?

You paused for a moment and think to decide...

(Y/N): Actually, I'm coming with you. Can't leave a woman like you who's doing the heavy labor.

You said with a smile on your face and everyone around was surprised and amused by what they had just heard.

Ricca: Ehehe, thanks for that, (Y/N).

(Y/N): No probs.

General Store Lady: I won't lie, that was quite the gentlemanly thing of you to say, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Well...just a habit though.

-Mini Time Skip-

For some time later, all of you buried the corpses at the church as you get your things ready while Ricca was at the graveyard with her thoughts.

Ricca: (A note and the keys to the house...I'll leave these here in case Miria and I just missed each other and she comes home later...)

(Y/N): So, are you ready to go?

Ricca: Yeah, I'm ready.

Fairy: Alright then, let's head off now.

Both you and Ricca nodded as the two of you left the West Mountain Village to find Ricca's sister, Miria.
