-With (Y/N) and Ricca-

Upon almost arriving back at the Village, Polon starts barking in the opposite way and this takes notice of Ricca and (Y/N).

Ricca: Huh? That way leads out of the village, Polon...We need to hurry and show this fairy to Miria.

And just like that, Polon runs off in the opposite direction, barking at whatever it sensed.

(Y/N): Polon, get back here!

Ricca: ...And there he goes...

(Y/N): Sheesh, what's up with him?

Ricca: No clue, let's just head back.

Both you and Ricca continued walking until you smell something.

(Y/N): Hey, do you smell that?

Ricca: Huh? Smell what?

(Y/N): Smells like...something is burning.

Ricca then sniffs in the air and got the smell in her nostrils.

Ricca: Yeah, it definitely smells like burning!

You and Ricca looked up to see smoke in the air.

Ricca: Is that...smoke? Why would there be smoke in the village?

That's when a realization hits you like a truck.

(Y/N): The village must be under attack!

Ricca: What?!

You then quickly sprinted, leaving Ricca behind.

Ricca: H-Hey, wait for me!

Ricca then runs after you while carefully holding the basket in her hands.

-Mini Time Skip-

Not long afterward, Ricca and (Y/N) finally arrived at the West Village, and to their shock what was in front of them was...

Ricca: The...The village...why...!?

(Y/N): Everything is all burned up! That bell must've warned everyone that it was under attack!

Ricca: Where is everyone...? Where's Miria...!?

(Y/N): We should head into the village!

You tell Ricca as the two of you ran towards the burned West Mountain Village.

While heading to the village, a slime was in front of you two.

Ricca: Slimes?!

(Y/N): Get back!

You pulled out your sword, rushed towards the slime, slashed and killed it in one hit, as the slime disappears out of existence.

Ricca: When did they get here...? Were they attacking the village!? Is that why I didn't see them in the mountains...? D-Did these slimes do all this?

(Y/N): It seems like it, but I have a feeling that slimes aren't alone in this invasion.

Ricca: You mean there are more monsters?!

(Y/N): It's possible. The monsters of this mountain have gone restless when I was hunting them down which gained my suspicion.

Ricca: You're right. The whole village would've been able to take them on...

The two of you continued heading forward and looked around the environment to see buildings and carriages burnt.

That's when Ricca turned her head right and spots something.

Ricca: (Y/N), look!

You turned to where Ricca was looking until you see three familiar green-skinned creatures.

Ricca: Isn't that fallen person over there...It's the merchant...! What's that thing next to him...?

(Y/N): Those are goblins!

Ricca: Goblins?! Those are monsters who attack villages and kill humans...and do terrible things to women...But I thought Donny said there weren't any goblins around this area...Why?

(Y/N): Isn't that the merchant?

Ricca: Yeah, but...he isn't moving at all...there's so much blood...was he attacked...and killed...by the goblins...!?

(Y/N): Ricca, you're looking at the obvious! Of course, he's dead!

Ricca: Ah...Ack...Mister...No...Urk...Urgh, *Sniff*...

(Y/N): Ricca, this is not time to cry. We've got to find your sister and fast!

You tell her as Ricca wipes her tears.

Ricca: Y-Yeah, we have to go find her....

(Y/N): Come on, let's go before they notice us.

Ricca nods as the two of you continue heading forward until you two spot a goblin with a club in its right hand.

Goblin A: That damn crooked captain...He's always looking down on us and pushing us around...!

Ricca: Eek...Another goblin...!? So it was the goblins...they were the ones who ruin the village...

(Y/N): Yeah. I heard that goblins are quite intelligent so it's best if we stay sharp when encountering one.

Ricca: Okay. Our house is in that direction...what do we do...?

(Y/N): I'm gonna go sneak up on the goblin and kill it from behind... You stay back, got it?

Ricca: R-Right.

You then sneaked quietly behind the goblin who was looking in front until you grabbed its shoulder and then stabbed through its chest.

(Y/N): Got'em.

Ricca: (Y/N)!

(Y/N): What?!

You turn back and see Ricca running up to you.

Ricca: G-Goblins, they're behind us!

You looked back and see a few goblins and you can notice one goblin who was wearing a helmet, a sword in its right hand, and a shield in its left hand.

(Y/N): (That must be one of the leaders who did this.)

Goblin B: Captain! I saw two humans around here! One guy and the other is a woman!

Ricca: Oh no...

Goblin Captain: There are still women here!? Let's split, find that woman, and kill that man!

(Y/N): Great. There are more of them. Come on, let's head back to your house.

Ricca: Y-Yeah...

And just like that, You and Ricca continued heading to their house while seeing a few dead bodies on the way which terrified Ricca until the two of you arrived at the house.

Ricca: We're here!

(Y/N): Go check inside, I'll stay and guard out here.

Ricca nods as she went inside her house to look for her sister.

Ricca: Thank goodness. My house seems to be in one piece. Miria, where are you? Miria...Miria!

Ricca cried out for a bit.

Ricca: But she's not here...Maybe she escaped the village...Yeah...that's got to be it...W-We better get out of here too...!

(Y/N): Ricca, we've got a big problem here!

You yelled out outside the house.

Ricca: W-What?!

Ricca then rushes outside and sees all the goblins surrounding you two.

Ricca: What the!?

Goblin A: Hey...Khehehe! I found the two humans!

Goblin B: Captain! Ghehe! These two humans I saw earlier! No doubt!

Goblin Captain: Is this the woman we're looking for...?! She fits the description...Ghehe, she looks like the other woman we caught, too...

(Y/N): Other woman? Do you mean this girl's older sister named Miria!?

Goblin Captain: Miria? Oh, you mean that other woman we just kidnapped? Yeah, we did.

Ricca: N-No way...!

(Y/N): Damn!

Goblin Captain: Enough talk! Capture that woman and kill that boy! I'll go back and report!

Ricca: G-Goblins...And so many of them...

(Y/N): Ricca, you should run away from here!

Ricca: What?!

(Y/N): I'll buy you enough time to escape. Go!

Ricca: But...I can't leave you!

(Y/N): You'll get in the way if you stay here. Now shut your mouth and go! I'll be fine!

Ricca flinched at your yelling before she regained her composure and quickly ran away.

Goblin C: Hey! She's getting away!

(Y/N): If you want her, then you'll have to get through me.

Goblin Captain: Kehehe, you foolish human! You're outnumbered!

(Y/N): Oh yeah? Why don't we find out?

You said with a grin as you got into your fighting stance.

Goblin Captain: Fine, get him!

All the goblins yelled out their battle cries as they all went up to charge at you with their weapons out.

You saw one goblin coming up towards you in the corner of your eye and jumped to attack you using its small sword.

You dodged its attack by doing a left side roll. You then hear the second goblin coming up to attack you using its club, but you grabbed it and pulled it away from it before stabbing it through its chest.

The third goblin came up behind you, but you quickly turned around and used the club that you stole from the second goblin and bonked its head, hard enough to make to break its skull, killing the third goblin instantly.

That's when the first goblin jumped onto your shoulders as it used its small sword to stab you, but you quickly grabbed the creature and threw him down to the ground before stabbing the first goblin's chest.

(Y/N): I'M FREAKIN' INVINCIBLE!!

You gloated which angered the Goblin Captain.

Goblin Captain: Tch, not bad for a human! I require backup, now!

The Goblin Captain ordered as you looked around to see a bunch of goblins and slimes coming towards you.

(Y/N): Damn, too many. Oh well, time to unleash my Stand!

Goblin Captain: What?!

(Y/N): Hierophant Green!

You yelled out as Hierophant Green appears from your back as it got in front of you in defense.

Goblin D: Wha-What is that thing?!

(Y/N): Dodge this attack! Emerald Splash!!!

You commanded the Hierophant Green as your Stand fires out emerald projectiles from its water palms as the projectiles directly hit all of the creatures in front of you, easily eliminating them.

(Y/N): The next thing you're going to say is "W-Wha?! How can this be?!?!" is that right?

Goblin Captain: W-Wha?! How can this be?!?!

The Goblin Captain gasps in shock at predicting his next line.

(Y/N): It appears that you are clearly outmatched. It's a mistake to come here and kill some of the villagers!

Goblin Captain: Damn you! We'll retreat for now!

-Stop the Music Here-

And just like that, the Goblin Captain runs off along with a few goblins with him, leaving a few monsters around.

(Y/N): That's right. Scurry off, fools!

You yelled at them until you remembered something.

(Y/N): Hmm...did Ricca already escape? No, there are too many goblins for her to handle. Then that means there's only one way she got out...

You slowly turned around and looked at the church.

(Y/N): She must've gone there.

You quickly run towards the church.

-With Ricca-

While you were fighting the goblins earlier ago. Ricca tries to escape by heading through the tunnels under the church. However, she was spotted by a goblin and two more goblins appeared in the church.

Ricca tries to fight the mall, but it was no use. Later on, we see her all bloodied up from the three goblins and has a white liquid in her womanhood. Plus, a fatal stab wound in her abdomen comes from a single goblin who stabbed her while protecting the fairy.

As Ricca thought to herself that everything was over until a bright light shines around the area.

Goblin C: Gheck!? What...!? What's this light?!

The third goblin questions in shock as everything around the area was white. The fairy was woken up and saw the badly injured Ricca who was laying on the floor.

Fairy: Blue eyes...Blue...ribbon...Ugh...chestnut-colored...braided hair...

Ricca: (...Ah...aah...)

Fairy: The brooch...It's reacting...to...you?

Ricca was confused by this.

Fairy: Ngh...There are monsters...nearby...?

Ricca: (...no...plea...run...aw...)

Ricca really tried to finish her sentence in her thoughts but was too weak due to her weak state from the goblins.

Fairy: In that...case...Hey...do you...want to defeat...the monsters?

Ricca: (...Mon...sters...?)

Fairy: Do you want to defeat the monsters running rampant in this world...and save mankind...?

The fairy offered.

Ricca: (Save...people...?)

Fairy: Will you use God's power to...urk...Defeat..rk..cht...and...seal...

Ricca: (...God's...power...? If I had...his strength...Could I save the village...from monsters...? Me, defeat the monsters...who killed the village..? And protect you...from the goblins...? If I could beat these monsters...I could look for...my sister...and protect...(Y/N)!)

Fairy: Urk...Ugh...Ngh...I can't...focus...

Ricca: (Aren't I...already...dead...? Is that why I'm having these dreams...?)

Goblin B: Khek, it's too bright! I can't see...Is this some trick that fairy is pulling!? Where is she...? I'll kill her!

Fairy: Urk...Hurry...

The fairy grunted.

Ricca: (...Even if this is a dream...Just one more time...I want to see Miria just one more time...I want to talk to her like we usually do...I want to be looked after by her...I want her to hug me...and spoil me, like when I was little...)

Fairy: Haa...haa...

Ricca: ...I do...I...I want to...defeat...the monsters...I want to defeat the monsters...!

Fairy: I see...I'm glad to hear it...Then...I will bestow upon you...this power...!

Te brooch started to glow around Ricca.

Goblin C: Gheck! Wh-What's happening...!?

Suddenly, Ricca started transforming into a different person as her clothes were different.

She was now wearing what seemed to be a battle skirt. She has a white chest plate, armored sleeves, blue skirt, knight boots, white leggings, a tiara above her head, and a big sword.

The light then fades away as the goblins uncovered their eyes from the bright light and see Ricca.

Goblin A: Khek!? What's with this woman...? She looks completely different now...!

Ricca: My body feels light...I don't have any pain or stains on me, either...What happened to me...!?

That's when the fairy flies up beside her and spoke up in a weak voice.

Fairy: Urk...I'll tell you the details...later *Pant* Pant* You can defeat the monsters with those powers...

Ricca: Power...to defeat the monsters...?

Fairy: Urk...My eyes...Haa...I sense monsters...Fine then...*Breathes in* Thou art the sword of God, blessed by sunlight...! Vanquish the evil creatures and bring back glory to this earth...!

The fairy monologues before she descends back down to rest for a bit.

Fairy: Huff...I leave the rest...to you...

Ricca: Huh...? Miss Fairy...!? H-Hey...What happened to me...What's with this big sword and this armor...!?

Fairy: Ngh...Mmmgh...

Ricca: I-I don't know much about God...or knights...But for some reason...I feel like I can take them on...!

Goblin A: Khehe! Shut your yapping!

Goblin B: Die already, bitch! Khehe...You think we'd be afraid of some woman who was crawling on the ground a moment ago!?

Ricca: Why...Why did you goblins do such horrible things to my village!? To the villagers!? I won't let you get away with this...!

Ricca says in a determined, yet timid tone.

Goblin C: Gkeeek! No matter what you look like, I'm going to pin you down and make you moan and scream again!

Ricca: Ngh...Come at me!

Ricca then begins to fight against the goblins without swordsmanship training.

Ricca then charges toward the first goblin and slices through the goblin, killing it instantly.

Ricca: Huh...? That was...so easy! I defeated the goblins with this big sword...!? Wow...

Ricca then continues killing the other two goblins left using all of her might.

After killing the two goblins, it was really easy for Ricca to eliminate them. Ricca was quite astonished by the strength that she possesses.

Ricca: I've never held such a big sword before in my life...but it feels like my body knows how to use it...

Fairy: Ugh...looks like you took care of them...

Ricca then turns back to the fairy and she was surprised that the fairy was now in a normal condition.

Ricca: Ah...Miss Fairy...You're okay. I'm so glad...

Fairy: That sword, that armor, and that strength...They are all holy knight powers bestowed on you by God.

Ricca: Huh...? Powers...from God...

Fairy: That's right. You're going to use that power to defeat the monsters and save the frightened humans and animals of this land.

Ricca: (When I cut the goblins with this sword...I did feel something...)

Fairy: I'm God's messenger, and you've been chosen to be the holy knight.

Ricca: (So this wasn't a dream...The villagers were killed...Miria was kidnapped...(Y/N) buying me time to escape...and the goblins did terrible things to me...it was all real...)

Fairy: Oh, a holy knight is a knight who fights for God. That sword and armor are a manifestation of the magical powers of sunlight.

Ricca: (If this isn't a dream...I can use this power...to save this village...everyone...and even Miria and (Y/N)!)

Ricca thought to herself.

Fairy: You're going to defeat the wizard who manipulates the monsters and...Hey!

And just like that, Ricca heads off the church's exit.

Fairy: I wasn't finished talking...!

The Fairy exclaims and went after her.

Fairy: Agh...Geez...Wait for me!

-No One's P.O.V-

Upon reaching the Church's entrance door, you were the first to open it which startles Ricca.

(Y/N): Ricca!

Ricca: (Y/N)!

Suddenly, you hugged Ricca which surprised her.

(Y/N): Thank god, you're okay!

Ricca: U-Um...

(Y/N): Oh crap, sorry about that.

You said as you pulled yourself from her.

(Y/N): Anyway, what happened, and what's up with that sword and outfit?

Ricca: Oh yeah...I just got these after I almost died.

(Y/N): What?! For real?!

Ricca: Y-Yeah...

Fairy: Hey, who are you?

The blue-haired fairy asked.

(Y/N): I'm (Y/N) (L/N), and I'm Ricca's friend.

Fairy: Huh, I see.

(Y/N): Did you do this to her?

You asked the fairy while looking at Ricca's armor outfit.

Ricca: A-Anyway I could explain everything later, but right now, we need to fend off the monsters of this village!

(Y/N): Right. Wait, can you fight using that sword?

Ricca: I think I can, but it feels like my body is moving on its own when I fight.

(Y/N): Well, that's good! Now let's go kill some monsters!
