After you, Ricca, and Iris rescued the soldier and the villager woman from the abandoned temple that was infested by Arachnes and monsters.

So right now, the three of you were heading to the Port Town, leaving Claret to ensure the safety of the soldier and the village woman.

In the port town, we see monsters infesting the town as the soldiers were trying hard to defeat them all, but the monsters were too many.

Port Town Soldier A: Damn it, to think that the monsters would attack as a group...! We're done for...!

Port Town Soldier B: Stop griping! We're going to protect the town and its people!

Port Town Captain: ... We're being pushed back...We need to at least buy enough time for the townsfolk to escape...

Port Town Soldier A: Damn it...! If only the knight of God, her traveling companion, or whatever was here...

One of the soldiers says until we see two magical swords being thrown down and killing two monsters.

Port Town Soldier A: What's happening...?! The monsters are dying?!

That's when a barrage of emeralds was fired in every direction, killing all of the monsters around the soldiers and the captain.

Port Town Soldier B: Aren't those...emeralds?

???: That's right!

Soldiers: ?!

??? 2: You evil monsters...! We're here to put a stop to this!

Port Town Captain: An ally...? Who is it...?!

Ricca: With the glimmer of the sun in our hearts...We defeat the monsters who emerge from darkness...The messenger of sunlight, Holy Knight Ricca, has come!

(Y/N): And I'm (Y/N) (L/N), the holy knight's traveling companion!

Port Town Soldier A: The knight...of God?!

Port Town Soldier B: And her...traveling companion?!

Port Town Soldier C: The duo that's been rumored to have been destroying monsters' nests...? So they really do exist...! W-We're saved...!

Port Town Soldier B: B-But...Huh...? They look like just normal people...Can we really depend on them...?

Ricca: Soldiers! We came to help you!

(Y/N): Correct! That's why we shall assist you in ways to defeat the monsters!

You said as you summoned out your Hierophant Green beside you.

Port Town Captain: That magic sword and that mysterious entity did defeat those monsters...We've got no choice but to trust them for now!

Ricca: Here we go! Hyaaaah!!

Ricca then jumps and softly lands while you also jumped down as the tentacle of Hierophant Green grabs onto an object to prevent you from falling down hard.

Ricca: Don't worry, we'll save you all!

Port Town Captain: Thanks for your assistance...! But really...two young people like this...Several of my subordinates have life crystals on hand. If you feel like you two are in trouble, go near the soldiers that aren't fighting any enemies, and they'll heal you both!

Ricca: Understood! Thank you very much!

(Y/N): Alright, let's go beat them monsters!

You said with your fists pumping as you, Ricca, and the soldiers begin to kill all of the monsters that are infesting the Port Town.

Iris: So, uh...Why did you two talk like you both were performing in a play just now? Both of you even climbed up to that high spot for it...

Ricca: Huh...? we wanted to cheer up the soldiers, so...A long time ago, Miria and I saw a play put on by a traveling entertainer. The hero from that story always made his grand entrance from up high.

(Y/N): Exactly! It's just what heroes or villains do when they make their introductions. However, standing in a high place can't always be like that. Heroes or Villains can also make their appearances by appearing out of the shadows, portals, or anything like that.

Iris: Hmph. Is that so...

-Time Skip-

It took a while to defeat all of the monsters around in town until you, Ricca, and Iris arrived at one of the ships that were now burning.

Skeleton Warrior A: This is a direct order from Master Arch-Lich! Destroy the boats so that they can no longer be used! Destroy them! Destroy them!!!

(Y/N): Stop right there, criminal scums! You violated the law!

Iris: Looks like the monsters' main goal is to destroy the ships...

Skeleton Warrior B: Who are you two?!

Ricca: I'm Ricca! I'm God's knight, who came to save this town!

(Y/N): And I'm (Y/N), her traveling companion!

Skeleton Warrior B: I had heard that there were two people who were getting in our way, but...There's no way it's a boy who is just an ordinary human and a girl that dresses in a shameless manner like you!

Skeleton Warrior B: Ah, I see...Showing up for a battle while flaunting those captivating thighs in such a revealing way...You're trying to seduce us, aren't you?! Are you a slut?!

(Y/N): Calling her a slut, eh? You two really need to take a breather from your perverted minds. Oh wait...skeletons don't even have lungs!

You said with mockery which angered the Skeletons.

Skeleton A: Why you...! I'll get you for that!

Iris: Oh jeez, these guys must have some kind of grudge against the holy knight. Let's grin them into dust and feed them to the fishes!

(Y/N): More like the dogs need to chew on their bones!

-Slight Time Skip-

It didn't take long for you and Ricca to defeat the skeleton warriors on the deck until everyone managed to destroy all of the monsters.

Port Town Soldier A: Yeaaaaaaaahhhh!!! We did it! We drove away the monsters!

Port Town Soldier B: Ah, I thought we were done for...That knight girl and her companion saved us...!

Port Town Captain: Miss Knight and her friend...Your names are Ricca and (Y/N), correct? You two really helped us out, thank you.

Ricca: It's no problem. I'm just fulfilling my duty as a holy knight...we're glad that the townsfolk are safe...!

Port Town Captain: Um...Ricca, you've been calling yourself a messenger of God...a holy knight, but...Is that really true...?

Ricca: W-Well...I'm uh...I used to help out at a church in the west mountain village, and one day I received a message from God telling me to save those in trouble...

Port Town Captain: Is that so? Well, what about you, young man? Since you're the holy knight's companion, when did it happen?

(Y/N): Oh...Do forgive me, it's just I lost my memories when I woke up in a mountain of herbs until I met Ricca who woke me up. She and I have been traveling together to defeat the Arch-Lich which is our main objective.

Port Town Captain: I see. And what about that mysterious entity with green skin and weird features on it? I heard that you are its host, correct?

(Y/N): Oh yeah, that mysterious entity that you referring to is known as "Stand".

Port Town Captain: "Stand"?

(Y/N): Yes. It's my spirit that I wielded inside my soul. I named my Stand, Hierophant Green, which represents the tarot card "Hierophant". This mysterious entity possessed me when I encountered some slimes as Hierophant protected me using its tentacles and firing emeralds like bullets.

Port Town Captain: Ooh, that sounds cool!

You were surprised that the captain believed your half-truth story until...

Claret: (YYYYY/NNNN)!!! RICCAAAA!!!

Ricca: Huh...? Oh, it's Claret.

Claret: Huff, huff...Ricca! (Y/N)! You two drove back the monsters that attacked the town! You two are amazi...Ah!

Claret, with a shocked look on her face, sees something in front of her along with everyone else.

Ricca: Huh? What's wrong, Claret? You look so surprised...And the soldiers do, too...

(Y/N): Uh...Ricca? You might want to turn around and look.

Ricca: Huh? What is it?

Ricca turns around and sees something shocking.

Ricca: The island on the other side...Why is the sky bright red...?! And what is that castle...? It wasn't there before...

(Y/N): I've got a feeling that something is ominous is going on there...

Iris: I can sense the magic from the earth...gathering at the top of the tower...It's so immense, I can feel it even from here...The Drain Crystals scattered across the land must've been sending their magic to that spot...That has to be...Arch-Lich's base...!

Claret: Arch-Lich's castle...What is planning to do with all that magic energy?

(Y/N): I bet he's using all of that energy to rule over the world...like an Overlord.

Iris: Close, but...he's going to resurrect...the Darkfiend Dragon!

(Y/N): Ayo what?!

-Mini Time Skip-

A few moments later, everyone gathered inside the armory building where they would all discuss what to do.

Soldier Paul: They're the ones who rescued us from the Arachne...! Captain, please believe them...!

Port Town Captain: I know...It's hard to believe, but that power...And how can I doubt it when I see this fairy right in front of me...

Iris: Ugh...I'm not some freak show attraction...Don't stare at me like that...

Ricca: Iris...please be patient with them...

Port Town Captain: ... (Hmm...She's small, but they're large...)

(Y/N): Hey Cap'n, you're not thinking anything weird is by looking at Iris, were you?

Iris: Excuse me?!

Port Town Captain: N-No I wasn't...!

(Y/N): You definitely were...

Ricca: A-Anyways, let's just discuss what we're about going to do, okay?

Ricca says, trying to defuse the situation.

Claret: Alright. The Arch-Lich is going to use the magic from the earth he gathered from the Drain Crystals to open the gate...A gate that'll lead to the World of Darkness. Once the gate is large enough, it'll connect to the World of Darkness, and the Darkfiend Dragon will be released from the prison by the previous holy knight who sealed him in...So that's Arch-Lich's plan...Releasing a creature from another realm sounds like something out of a fairy tale, but it may be possible with all that magic...

Iris: God already told me about Arch-Lich's plans, but I had no idea exactly how he was going to bring back the Darkfiend Dragon...

Ricca: But where did that castle come from? It just appeared out of nowhere. Shouldn't he have continued his plans in secret...?

(Y/N): Yeah, he's exposing himself out there.

Iris: We've been going around destroying Drain Crystals, so he wasn't able to maintain the magic to hide the castle. Either that or...

Claret: He no longer has the need...to hide it...

Ricca: W-Wait...Are you saying that he's close to resurrecting the Darkfiend Dragon...?!

Iris: It's only a possibility...but it's safer to assume so.

Ricca: But if the Darkfiend Dragon is resurrected, won't it ruin even more towns and villages!?

(Y/N): That's...exactly what it would do.

Iris: It won't be just towns and villages. God said that once the Darkfiend Dragon comes back to our realm, it's going to devour all living things in this world...including my hometown and the creatures of other continents...

(Y/N): ...Or do even worse.

Ricca then lets out a big sigh before speaking up.

Ricca: Let's go to that island and stop Archlich!

Iris: Yes...We have to...That's our mission from God, after all!

Claret: Ricca...Iris...(Y/N)...!

Ricca: Um, Captain? May we borrow a ship from the port?

The Port Town Captain pauses for a moment before speaking up.

Port Town Captain: I'm sorry, but that's not possible. Currently, you can't take a boat out to sea.

(Y/N): Alright, why is that?

Port Town Captain: There's a large cave at the bottom of the ocean located between this port town and that island. There's a monster called Poseidon living there, and it sinks boats.

(Y/N): Ayo?

Claret: Poseidon...? Isn't that old sea god that resides in the waters around here...?

Port Town Captain: That's right. Poseidon almost never appeared in front of humans. However, he's been spotted more frequently over the past year. He's been attacking boats.

(Y/N): (Okay...I have a feeling that this world's Poseidon is different from mine or...maybe perhaps act in a similar way?)

Port Town Captain: Because of Poseidon, many of the merchant ships that used to sail around here have been sunk...Apparently, the sea god is protecting that island. That island was rumored to be a large nest of monsters, so a couple of months ago, the capital's fleet headed over to investigate. Poseidon sank half of the ships that headed toward that island. The boats were snapped in half by snake-like arms that wrapped around them.

(Y/N): (Wait, what? This world's "Poseidon" is just a Kraken and then slapped it with the Greek god's name on it?) Okay, that is...quite terrifying...

Port Town Captain: Correct. The soldiers that managed the island weren't even able to conduct a proper investigation, and most of them perished on the way back. So I'm sorry, but we can't have any boats going out to sea. We'll just be sending you and our sailors to their deaths...

(Y/N): Bruh.

Ricca: I see...So you're telling me...if we get rid of this sea god, you'll let us borrow a ship?

Port Town Captain: Huh? Yes...Do you have some ideas on how to get rid of Poseidon, Miss Ricca...?

Ricca pauses for a moment until she had a hopeful expression on her face and said...

Ricca: We're...going to defeat Poseidon! Don't worry, (Y/N) and I've fought against a village's guardian dragon before, too!

Everyone stayed silent as Iris looks at Ricca with an angry expression.

Iris: *Sigh* Were you listening to what the captain was saying at all? The sea god lives in a cave at the bottom of the sea. How do you two plan to get there?

(Y/N): If anyone has some kind of a spell that we could breathe underwater, that's how.

Iris: Really? *Sigh* You two have gotten a little dumber nowadays.

(Y/N): Oh yeah? What are we gonna do? Sit around and wait for a plan to destroy Poseidon, and let Arch-Lich resurrect the dragon and destroy humanity?

You stated as everyone fell silent.

(Y/N): *Sigh* That's what I thought. Look, we don't have any other choice, and we don't know how much time we've got left before Arch-Lich could resurrect that damn dragon.

Port Town Captain: Wait, how about we can send the word to the capital, and have them send a ship as a diversion...

Claret: You want to get to the cave at the bottom of the sea, right...?

Ricca: Claret...?

Claret: Your friend's right, Ricca.

(Y/N): Does that mean you have...?

Claret: Yes, indeed!
