Two months later

Obi Wan was nervous. He was standing in a room with Anakin and Rex. "What's wrong master?" Anakin asked. "Nothing" Obi Wan said. "Sure" said Rex. "What? Nothing's wrong!" Obi Wan said, although his voice betrayed him. "Sure master. Don't worry, I was nervous on my wedding day too"Anakin said.

"I'm not nervous, it's just..." Obi Wan blushed. "Alright, Alright. I am nervous, but I don't know why. I mean, we're just going to say our vows, in front of a lot of people. Put our rings on and kiss, what's the big deal, right?" Anakin stared at his master with an amused smile on his face.

"Master, there is more to a wedding than just saying vows and kissing the woman you love" Anakin said. "It's promising to be loyal and to love her forever" Anakin smiled "Plus, it's more than a few people. I think most of the galaxy is coming to your wedding, master"

Obi Wan looked at Anakin in disbelief "Are you serious?!" "Yep" said Anakin, laughing. "Oh, force" Obi Wan said. "But don't worry master. With me as your best man, and Rex and Cody as your groomsmen, there's no way that anything is going to go wrong" Obi Wan rolled his eyes, well eye, as his left eye was still a bit swollen from the little "accident" two months ago. "Sure. Thanks Anakin, that is very uplifting" Obi Wan said in his most sarcastic voice. Anakin laughed "At your service, master"

Obi Wan sighed. "Seriously though. Do you think I'm ready?" Anakin smiled at his master " Of course you are". "Thank you, Anakin". Obi Wan struggled to get to his feet. "Do you need help master?" Anakin asked. "No, Anakin. I'm fine" Obi Wan said, supporting himself on the cane he had to temporarily use. "Although it would be nice to not have a bum leg and still have my arm, but hey, at least I don't have your horrible hair" Obi Wan said "And I also have incredible facial hair that you don't. But yes, I'm fine". Anakin smiled "Glad to see your sense of humor has not been affected by your nervousness".

Obi Wan turned away with a smile. He stood face to face with his own reflection. He stood in front of a full length mirror. He looked at himself top to bottom. He was wearing white robes, brown boots, and had his lightsaber clipped onto his brown belt. He was also wearing a brown glove to cover his brand new mechanical arm, which Anakin had teased him with saying that they were now twins.

"How do I look?" Obi Wan asked. "You look fine, master. Stop worrying so much!" Anakin said, with half fake exasperation. "Alright Anakin, I will" Obi Wan said. "Finally!" Anakin exclaimed. "Now, let me teach you how to say your vows..."

Satine was in a room similar to the one her future husband was in. She was with Padmé, Ahsoka, and her sister Bo-Katan. "How do I look?" Satine asked. "You look incredible!" Padmé said. "Do you think Obi Wan will like the dress?" Satine said as she looked at herself in the mirror. "Of course he will" Bo-Katan said "And if he doesn't, then your future husband is crazy, sister" Satine smiled. "Did you feel nervous when you got married?" Satine asked Padmé. "Not really. I think that men are the ones that should be nervous" Padmé said. Satine laughed "Knowing Obi Wan, he's probably telling Anakin that he's fine while he's having a panic attack inside"

"Definitely. Master Kenobi is always trying to hide his emotions, but doesn't always succeed" Ahsoka said.
"And between him and Master Skywalker, I've learned when the other is trying to hide their emotions from each other" she said.
Satine smiled at her "I'm glad those two have been able to teach  you something" Padmé smiled too " Between Anakin's pranks and Obi Wan always worried about him, I'm surprised they were able to teach you anything" Everyone laughed and they continued preparing for the big day.

"Master, someone is here to see you" Anakin said with a small smile. "Who is i-" Obi Wan's voice trailed off. Standing in front of him were his mother and father, whom he hadn't seen in many, many years.

"M-mother? F-father?" Obi Wan stammered. "How?..." Obi Wan felt his eyes fill with tears. "I'll leave you guys alone" Anakin said. After he had left, Obi Wan's mother spoke "Oh, Obi, you don't know how much I've missed you" she said as she embraced him. Obi Wan said nothing and just hugged his mother back. "What happened to you?" His father asked "Why is your eye swollen and why are you using a cane?" His father demanded. "I..." Obi Wan started but was interrupted by his mother's gasp. She touched his glove covered hand and asked "Obi, what happened?" Obi Wan grimaced "I had an accident, that's all"

Obi Wan's father didn't look convinced "An accident, huh? An accident that cost you your arm?" Obi Wan's mother interrupted him " Let him tell us, Obed. Let our son tell us what happened to him" Obi Wan's father sighed. "Fine. I'm sorry son, it's just..." His voice trailed off. "What happened to you? Tell us, don't leave any details out" Obi Wan's mother said. Obi Wan sighed "Alright, this is what happened"

"...And then I woke up two months ago, on Christmas Eve" Obi Wan said. "I momentarily forgot what had happened, and I didn't even know why I didn't have my arm, but then I remembered, but I didn't care" Obi Wan said " I was back, back with the woman I love, and back with my brother and unborn children" Obi Wan's mother had tears in her eyes and she said nothing. His father had tears in his eyes as well, but was able to speak, unlike his wife.

"You mean to tell me..." Obed said, his voice catching "That I almost lost my son?" Obi Wan nodded. "More or less father, but, you didn't know?" Obed shook his head "You didn't know, Obi Wan?" Obi Wan looked at his father, and then at his mother. "Know what?"

Obed looked at his wife " We had to go into hiding, Obi" Obi Wan looked at his father, confused "Into hiding?" Obed nodded "We had to evacuate Stewjon, we were being attacked, and they evacuated us in the middle of the night" Obi Wan sat down.

"When?" was all he said. "A few months ago. It was so abrupt we didn't even have a chance to send you a message or anything to let you know what was going on" Obi Wan's mother said. Obi Wan put his face in his hands. "Oh, Obi" Obi Wan's mother said as she embraced him. "I didn't know" Obi Wan said. "If I had known, I would've traveled back home, I could've done something to help!" Obi Wan said.

"Son, that wasn't your job, now was it? We're alright, so there's nothing to worry about" his father said, embracing him as well. "Now, when was the no attachment rule taken out?" His mother asked with a smile. "A few months ago" Obi Wan said. "And you finally proposed to Satine" his father said. "Yes" Obi Wan said. "And now you're getting married" his mother said with tears in her eyes. "My boy has grown so much" Obi Wan smiled as he embraced his parents. He couldn't be any happier, or so he thought.

"Let me hold him" Satine said. "Here" Padmé said with a smile as she passed baby Luke to his aunt. "He's so adorable!" Ahsoka said. She was holding baby Leia and she said "But you are too Leia, yes you are"

They were still in the bride room, but they had taken a break from preparing and decided to pamper little Luke and Leia, who were one month old. "When are your and Master Kenobi's twins being born?" Ahsoka asked. "Oh, they're not due for another month" Satine said as she gave Luke back to his mother to be fed.

"But I wish they were already born" Satine said, placing a hand on her belly. "Not only is it tiring, but I want to meet my little ones" she said. "But, I barely have to wait, so I know I can make it"

"What are you naming them?" Ahsoka asked. "Well, I don't know if Obi Wan remembers, since he's lost a few of his memories, but we're naming them..." Satine leaned over and whispered into Ahsoka's ear. Ahsoka smiled "Those are wonderful names!" She said.

Satine smiled "That's what I told him, and he agreed. Well, before the accident". Satine shook her head "But, about the wedding, we still have one very important detail to sort out" Padmé looked at her "And what could that be?" Satine smiled sadly "Who's going to walk me down the aisle. If my father were alive, then he would do it but..." Her voice trailed off.

Ahsoka said "How about your sister, Bo-Katan?" Bo-Katan lifted her head when she heard her name. "Oh, no. I'm not going to walk you down the aisle, sister" Satine frowned "Please, sister, I-" Bo-Katan raised her hand "But I do know who will" she said with a smile. "Who?" Bo-Katan smiled "You'll see"

Obi Wan was talking with his parents about what had gone on in the past few months when all of a sudden a girl ran in out of nowhere. She was between 13-15 years old, had long brown hair, chocolate eyes, and looked very cheerful.

Obi Wan stood up "I'm sorry, but who are you?" The girl looked at Obi Wan's parents "You haven't told him yet?" Obi Wan turned "Told me what?" Both his mother and his father beamed at him.

"Obi Wan, we have a little surprise" Obi Wan looked very confused "What is it?" He asked. Obed beckoned to the girl. "Obi Wan" his father said "Meet your little sister, Madelyn"

Obi Wan opened his eyes wide "I have a s-sister?" Both his parents nodded. Obi Wan beckoned to the girl "You're my little sister?" She nodded "And you're my big brother"

Obi Wan felt tears sting his eyes. He had a sister. He embraced her and said "I'm glad I can get to meet you" She looked up at him "Me too". The whole reunited family hugged each other, feeling that their world was now complete.

Obi Wan was standing at the altar, waiting for the moment in which Satine would walk down the aisle towards him and when they would finally become husband and wife.

"Master, don't worry everything's going to be alright" Anakin said, placing a hand on Obi Wan's shoulder. "Thank you, Anakin" Obi Wan said. He turned around to see the crowd.

On the front rows sat his parents, his sister Madelyn, all the Jedi and their padawans, and Senator Organa and his wife, who were both taking care of Luke and Leia during the ceremony. Behind them, clone troops and a lot of other people Obi Wan didn't know. Alright Obi Wan thought I'm ready.

Just as those thoughts went through his mind, he heard the musicians start to play 'Here come the bride'. He turned to see Satine's bride's maids and maid of honor. Padmé was her maid of honor, and Ahsoka and her sister Bo-Katan were her bride's maids. Hold on, Obi Wan thought, Wasn't Bo-Katan supposed to walk Satine down the aisle in the absence of their father?

Obi Wan quickly spun around to see his bride walking down the aisle. She looked truly beautiful. Her dress, veil, shoes, and jewelry matched perfectly. Her dress fit snugly over her pregnant belly and she looked radiant. The bouquet of flowers was the perfect mix of both their favorite colored roses, and he felt the fluttering of butterflies in his stomach, just like when he first met Satine when he was no more than a young boy.

But when he looked to her side, he felt his chest tighten and tears stung his eyes. He could hear gasps in the whole room, and he himself gasped at what he saw. "M-master?" He whispered. The man walking down the aisle with his future bride was none other than his former master Qui Gon Jinn.

As they got closer and the flower girls dispersed, he could see that Satine was crying as she walked with Qui Gon with her arm hooked around his somehow. Obi Wan knew that he wasn't really there but it looked so real, as if he had come back to life after all those years. He felt himself break down in front of the whole galaxy, but he didn't care. His master had come back to share his special day with him, and that's all that mattered.

As they neared the altar, Qui Gon stopped when Satine stood right next to Obi Wan. He gently kissed Satine on the cheek and squeezed Obi Wan's shoulder. "I told you that you would make it and that you're stronger than me" Obi Wan said nothing. "You have been a great padawan, Obi Wan, and I'm proud of you, son"

Obi Wan smiled, and hugged his master. When they separated, Qui Gon went to sit next to Obi Wan's parents, while Obi Wan turned back to the priest. "You look beautiful, my love" Obi Wan whispered. "And you look very handsome, my dear" Satine whispered back.

Then the priest started the ceremony.
"Today, we are here to celebrate the union in marriage between these two people, Obi Wan Kenobi and Satine Kryze" Both turned to face each other, the moment they had waited for had come. They held each others hands, and smiled at each other, ready to say "I do" to a life together starting today to the end of all time.

"Satine Kryze, do you accept Obi Wan Kenobi as your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?" Satine looked at Obi Wan with a smile. " I do" she said.

He then turned to Obi Wan. "Obi Wan Kenobi, so you accept Satine Kryze as your wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?" Obi Wan smiled and looked at Satine . "I do" he said.

The priest then said "Who has the rings?" Anakin beckoned to R2, who came up and brought out the rings. "Thank you, old friend" Obi Wan whispered to the droid as he bent down to grab the rings.

He stood back up and gave Satine his ring as he held on to hers. Then, when the priest said so, he put her ring on her finger and she put his on as well. They held hands once again, and then the priest said "With the power invested in me by the Force, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride"

The moment the both of them had waited for so long had finally come. Obi Wan reached for her veil and unveiled Satine's radiant face. He pulled her into a kiss sweeter than anything that either of them had ever tasted. They parted to catch their breaths as they put their foreheads together. "I love you, Ben" Satine said. "I love you too, Satine"

They heard clapping and turned to face the crowd. There was not a dry eye in the galaxy that night, everyone was celebrating Obi Wan and Satine's wedding to the max.

As they walked back down the aisle, Obi Wan heard Anakin say " Way to go, master!" And the whole room erupted in clapping and a chorus of "Congratulations!". The newlyweds exited triumphantly and kissed each other again.

Later that night, at the after party, they got ready to throw the bouquet of flowers to see who would get married next. "Are you ready?" Satine called out. "Yes!" All the women said. "Alright. One, two, three!" Satine threw the bouquet and Ahsoka caught it.

"Alright, padawan!" Anakin said. "When's your wedding?" Ahsoka blushed "Well I..." Suddenly, she turned around and saw Lux on one knee. "Ahsoka, ummm, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife, and marrying me?" Everyone erupted in cheers. Ahsoka looked surprised, but quickly recovered. "Lux...I...Yes!" Lux got up, put the ring on Ahsoka's finger, and kissed her. "Aww!" Satine and Padmé said. "Congratulations!" Ahsoka smiled "Thanks".

Suddenly, the musicians shushed everyone down. "We have a gift for the newlyweds" They said. Turning to face Satine and Obi Wan, the director said "For your first dance as husband and wife, we have composed a special piece in your honor" Both Obi Wan and Satine looked surprised, but got up and walked to the center of the dance floor.

"Are you ready?" Obi Wan asked Satine. "If I'm with you, I'm ready for anything" Satine responded. The director raised his arms and the orchestra and band started to play as Obi Wan and Satine started to sway with the music.

After it was over, everyone clapped, and both the director and the newlyweds bowed. "Thank you for the song" Obi Wan said as he approached the director. " No problem. I had to come up with something special for such a special couple as you"

Both smiled at his words and thanked him again. "I want to introduce you to some people" Obi Wan said. "Who?" Satine asked. "You'll see" was all he said. He lead her through the crowd until he reached his parents and his little sister. "Meet my parents, Obed and Wanda, and my sister, Madelyn" Obi Wan said with a smile. Satine smiled "I'm so excited to meet you!" She said. " Us too" Obi Wan's  parents said. Soon, they started to talk and get to know each other well, just like a family.

Soon, they were all back on the dance floor, dancing once again to the special piece of music. "I can't believe we're actually married now" Satine said. "Me too. It feels so surreal" Obi Wan said. He stayed silent for a minute a they danced. "What is it, Obi?" Satine asked. " Nothing. It's just, why did you stay with me? After all the injuries and how long I took to heal... You could have gone on with your life" Satine looked at Obi Wan and said "Remember, my dear Obi Wan, I have always loved you and I always will" Obi Wan smiled and said "I love you too, Satine" And they held on to each other, dancing the night away.
