Nathan slowly opened his eyes as he felt a sharp light pierce his eyelids.

As he slowly gained counciousness, he felt a piercing headache.

Groaning, he cluched his head as his eyes adjusted to the light of the room.

Looking around, he realized he was in a large room ,painted all white which lacked any furniture except of chairs arranged in circle on which were some other people all of which were around his age and uncouncious.                                                               He noticed a large LED TV on the wall behind which was closed at the moment. The wall to his right was made entirely of glass and had a sliding door. The wall in front also had a door which led to God knew where. The whole room was illuminated by bulb on the celing.

Nathan didn't know how he got there, the last thing he remembered was kissing his younger sister goodbye as he head towards his school.

He remembered crossing the small bridge to the other part of town ,walking into an alleyway which formed a shortcut to his school.

As he was walking through it he felt steps behind him as he turned around to see who it was ,he felt a seeing pain on the back of his head and everything turned black.

As he was thinking this, the boy next to him woke up with a pained groan.  A pair of green eyes peered at him and then around the room in confusion.

Slowly ,all the other people in the room woke up ,all as confused as the green eyes boy. Nathan counted them to be a total of twelve people along with him. Just then  the LED behind them switched on.

It turned a blue and words appeared on it. A robotic male voice repeated the words on the screen.

Welcome Dear Participants

All of you have been brought here in order to participate in a game.

The reward of this game will be 12 Million Dollars while the punishment will be death.

You may want to escape but you should realise that you are wearing special colours around your neck and anyone trying to escape will die.

As the AI repeated the words, Nathan realised the collar around his neck. Touching it ,he realized it was a thick collar made up of metal. He was confused why he hadn't realised it earlier but thought the pain of the headache and the strange circumstance had distracted. Looking around, the others seemed to realise this as well

Now dear participants ,the game you will be playing will be a altered version of the game mafia.

In this game there will be seven villagers ,three mafia and two knaves.

"Knaves" Nathan thought ,he had played the mafia game multiple time but never once heard of the knaves but this version was not like any version of the game he had played,there lives were on the line.

The tasks of the members are as follow

Villagers :- Find the mafia members and kill them via votes.

Mafia:- Kill all the other members.

Knaves  :- Conceal their Identity till the end of the game and gain everyone's trust

Among the villagers will be three special cards

The Detective:- Can pick someone every night and find out what the person is.

The Medic :- Can protect one person every night but can't protect themselves

The Necromancer :- Can see who a dead person was

"Well this is interesting " Nathan thought and he saw others raising there eyebrows or relaxing a bit.

He knew what the others were thinking with these cards ,the detection of the mafia will be easier.

Here are the rules :-

1) Between 8 to 10 pm ,the villagers will remain in their room while the mafia will be out to kill. If the mafia can't kill one person each night all of them will die.

2) Every night the voting will take place, the one will highest vote will die but if the fathering fails to vote before 8pm ,everyone dies.

3) If all the mafia members die by the end of the game, the villagers win. If the number of mafia equals with the number of villagers, the mafia will win.

4)If the knaves survive till the end in both cases, everyone except the Knaves. If the Detective  detects the Knaves ,they will die.

After this meeting, the players can look around the house and excess their rooms which can be reached through the white door. You can go out to the garden but don't cross the black border around the house .The one to do so will die immediately . Your cards will be in your rooms.

The screen turned black. The participants stared at each other or the screen in complete silenced ,no one spoke a word . Everyone looked either scared or in disbelief.

A red headed boy with green eyes who was the only one who wasn't in a school uniform awkwardly cleared his throat.

"Um...  I guess we...we should introduce ourselves,so we can get to know each other"  he said in a low pitched voice. "I'll go first, Iam Leo ,iam 15 and I was home schooled most of my life"

The boy to his right ,an Asian boy with black hair and rounded glases spoke next.

"Iam Jackson ,iam also 15 and iam a student of Apollo Junior High school".

A confident looking blonde girl spoke next . "Iam Jade,iam 16 and Iam a student of Apollo Junior High as well".

Nathan spoke next, eyeing all the student one by one.

"Iam Nathan ,iam 16 and A student of Saint Jones Academy"

"Iam Lily, Iam 14 and also a student of Saint Jones Academy" a studious looking girl said.

Nathan looked at her with suprise ,he had never seen her in school. She was probably in a different section then him that was probably why he didn't recognize her.

"Iam Shawn and Iam also 14 ,iam a student of Horizons High" said a meek looking boy, he looked extremely shy and looked down on the floor to avoid eye contact.

"Iam Rose ,17 years old ,same school as him" a tall girl  said nochantly.  She looked the least scared of all of them,and had a look on her face as if she was merely bored.

Nathan wondered if this was true or she was just putting up a brave front.

"Iam Mia ,iam 15 and iam a student of the new government school " a blonde girl with round grey eyes said ,she had a look permanently suprised due to her eyes.

"Iam Dave ,iam 16 and go to the same as her" said a gothic boy with dyed purple hair and purple lenses.

"Iam Crystal, iam 14 and Iam a student of Shinning Light academy" said a girl with pierced lips and what looked like a tattoo under her eye.

"Iam Xavier ,16,go to the same school as her" said a Latino boy with dyed blonde hair the roots of which were starting to show.

"Iam Annie, 13 and I also go to the same school as them"  as a girl with droppy eyes.

"Well now that we have introduced ourselves I think we should go to our rooms and check our cards" said Jackson .

Everyone noded at this ,and walked through the small white door which lead to a large hallway with door on the either side ,the hallway ended in another door which lead to a kitchen.

Their respective rooms had their names on them written on black boards.

Nathan slowly opened the door to his room and walked in . It was a plain white room with no furniture except a bed and a study table. Another white door led to an equally plain bathroom.

Nathan walked to the study table to see a black card on it. With shaking hands he picked it up and flipped it.
