SCM-#OppositacleBattle: Kitari Masamune Vs. Sailor Yukimura (intro)

Star King: "Darlings~!"

Kitari: "'Sup, Da-"

Sailor: *shake, shake*

Kitari was just about to say ''Sup, Dad.', but Sailor stopped her. They both want the Star King to tell them himself. Anyway, Sailor and Kitari were summoned up to Star King for some odd reason, that they knew wasn't gonna go out well, but they came anyways, with their guards up, of course.

Sailor: "So, nutshell, why the heck did you bring us up, we gotta load of back-up work because you got some fancy-shmancy ball or whatever for our department's members."

Kitari: "So, do us a favor, and order us for something SHORT."

Star King looked down at them with his usual smile on his face, but the smile faltered a little, when he saw the look that the girls were giving him, which pretty much said, 'We are flipping SERIOUS. You do anything extra it's your HEAD.'.

Star King knew better than to mess with the Department Queens of Wishes and Punishments. Yes, they may not have looked like it, but they've inherited PLENTY from their Celestial parents, ESPECIALLY their mother's side of the family. He was beginning to wonder if he was really that pitiful.

Star King: "...hah, you two are no fun. Very well, you girls will set the limit. I suppose you will not wish for me to beat around the bush..."

He gave a very disappoint glare to the wall to his left, with very uncharacteristic irritation in his voice, that the two are mildly amused to hear clearly in his voice, which they can tell he's trying to suppress.

Star King: "...You girls will be placed in multiple situations that resemble into different time-zone, common, human, opposite battles. They will not be in that literate timeline, as explained, but in an alternate version of it, called a 'Free-Roam'. Perhaps you've heard of it?"

Sailor and Kitari looked at each other. Once they glanced back at Star King, they could see that his hand was going to cover his mouth, but he stopped himself, now bearing another annoyed glare to the poor, innocent wall.

Sailor: (...I have a pretty good feeling that he didn't mean to say that last line, because him or Mom, might've said something when we were princesses...)

Kitari: (...Though 'Free-Roam'...we didn't see that in our memories...maybe it was a game or something and not anything major...?)

Sailor: "So...what you mean is that you're gonna plop us somewhere in human history and have us do some sort of battle...in that history...and what...?"

Some confidence slid back into Star King's smile.

Star King: "You girls will be placed on either side of the battle. Precisely, you two will be sort of fighting each other."

Sailor/Kitari: "WHAT?!?!?!"

Kitari: "Why???"

Star King: "The Praedectatoris in certain mainstories are somewhat busy at the moment and certain...acquaintances have addressed to me this...issue..."

Sailor and Kitari were staring at him with blank confusion. Instead of Star King reaping their clear expression of lost, for amusement, he seemed more worried about what these 'acquaintances' would do if he didn't.

Sailor: (Whoa, so there's someone above him, hammering him to do this to us...?)

Kitari: (...I...)

Sailor/Kitari: (...Actually kinda feel sorry for him...)
(knows what it's like to be forced to do something from above)

 Kitari: "So, uh...what's a Praedectatori...?"

Star King: "They're...human family-wide protectors. They guard one human from a family, and the whole family is covered, that bears the name. ONLY if they bear the name."

Sailor: "Er...from what...?"

Star King: "In our realm in the time-line, specifically out-of-control demons or...Celestials."

Kitari: "Wha-?"

Star King: "Not that you will have to worry yourselves over that, this story is covered. Thanks to...hah, moving along..."

Sailor: (I bet he means, 'thanks to those acquaintances'.)

Star King: "...Are you girls familiar with the Sengoku Era, Japan?"

Kitari: "YAS!!!"

Sailor: "...Huh...?"

Star King: "Well, it would appear that one of you do."

Sailor: "Kitari...? What the heck is Sengoku Japan? Is that some sorta city...? Look, I've never been to Japan-"'

Kitari: "Haha, I've been to Japan once and, no, it's not a city! It's an era! A FAMOUS era! C'mon, you gotta know this! There was a Voltage game of both a normal and PARTY version in this era!"

Sailor: "...Sorry...no clue..."

Star King: "That is fine, we can work with that. Now, are you familiar with...Masamune and Yukimura, at least?"

Kitari: "YAS~!!! Masamune is my all-time FAVORITE!!!"

Sailor: "Erm...the only thing that's coming to me is 'samurai'."

Kitari: "You're kinda right, yes, they were commonly known as samurai, but they got most of their power from being clan lords! You know, Masamune is that one dude who you said in college, looked like a dude wearing six-clawed wings on his waist, roof shingles and a banana on his head?"

Sailor: "...If you're talking about college, then the chances of me remembering is slim..."

Kitari: "Yeah, Masamune also lost his eye from smallpox, which turned his eye blue in the game, which made his mother, Yoshihime, bust a gasket and treated him like he didn't even existed."

Sailor noticed Star King visibly wince when she said the last part of her last sentence, amidst her rambling.

Kitari: "That's why he wears an eyepatch, which I think is SUPER cool! I don't know much about Yukimura, but a few things I'm certain of is that he's sort of a tsundere, kinda gullible, unless you count him on the battlefield or making heavy decisions, and him and Masamune don't really get along...."

Sailor saw how Kitari's face paled considerately when she reached the end of her sentence and stalled silent afterward.

Sailor: (...What about Yukimura and Masamune not getting along....?)

Star King: "There you have your opposites."

Sailor: "Wha...???"

Star King: "Sailor is going to be Yukimura for this event."

Sailor: "What-!?"

Star King: "Kitari shall be Masamune."

Kitari: "Me-!?"

Star King: "Oh, don't you two worry, you will be with a couple friends while you're in the 15th century headquarters compound."

Sailor: "When you say '15th century', do you mean the thing's real old...?!"

Star King: "Haha, ah, no, dear Sailor, child. You will be transported to the 15th century, Sengoku Japan. And...you will meet a few other Praedectatori there who aren't busy and will introduce you to the event."

Sailor: "Who...?"

Star King: "Minahani Yoshida, Inayana Tokugawa and her shadow twin Tayetani Hideyoshi, you two are supposedly the only one in the compound who bears the first name instead of the family name."

Sailor: "So...this Yukimura guy...who's his...Praedectatori...?"

Star King: "Oh, them? Auzra Date and Scorpio Sanada?"

Sailor: "SCOR-?!"

Star King: "Yes, they have an issue back at a certain floating island, so they'll be unavailable for quite some time. But...THEIR shadow twins are still there, and no, by shadow twins, I mean their the same person, but their soul is split into two bodies."

Kitari: "So...they'll be helping us out...?"

Star King: "Might you guess what the ID family name for these Praedectatori...?"

Kitari: "...Um...mine is gonna be...Kojuro and Sailor's is gonna be...Katsuyori...?"

Star King: "Yes, Kanatori Kojuro and Tamekita Katsuyori."

Sailor: "Yikes...I might not even remember my own...uh..."

Kitari: "Well, their ID's are of the lord's closest and loyalist retainer."

Star King: "I am glad that you two now know what is going on. Once you leave the throne room, you will enter the compound."

Sailor: "...Like the Star House door...?"

Star King: "Exactly."

Sailor/Kitari: "...."

Sailor: "...You wanna do this...?"

Kitari: "...U-Uh...yeah, I really do! But...uh...do you...?"

Sailor: "I can see that you're a Japanese history enthusiast. You really wanna go."

Kitari: "S-Sorry..."

Sailor: "It's okay, Masamune, we can go."

Kitari: "Sai-! I mean...Y-Yukimura..."

Sailor: "'Kay, you sparkly b-tard, we're going."

Star King: "Excellent."

*shing*
