Personality: Eleanor-Grace is a wise ruler. She is calm, collected, and sometimes thought of as 'cold.' She is distant, so that she may serve her kingdom without fear of a personal situation getting the best of her, clouding her judgement. Most people she spent time with were adults, much older than she, constantly trying to win her favor so that she'd support whatever cause it was that they wanted. It caused her to grow up faster than she should have had to - and she learned to hide her true thoughts and feelings from an early age. Never let them see what she truly thinks, remain passive and cordial and polite. She trained with the knights, but she spent most of her time in court. She is a well rounded monarch, able to hold her own on a battlefield or in matters of the state. She is in love with her kingdom and would do anything for it, and has refused many political marriages because they could never possibly love her kingdom as she does. Married to her kingdom, they say.

Backstory: Eleanor-Grace grew up a princess. Every little girl's dream. And it was a dream, up until she was 8 years old. Then, her kingdom was attacked and for 10 years, war waged on. She convinced her parents to let her train and it was her father, the King, who finally agreed. Eleanor took to it and her skill came naturally. Over the years she honed her skill and became a great warrior, later to be dubbed The Warrior Queen. Her cousin was sent from another kingdom, the one her mother was from, when Eleanor-Grace was 10, due to the passing of his parents. Her cousin, Nathaniel, was 12. He trained alongside her and together they became a formidable pair, on and off the battlefield. When she turned 18, she became Queen, after her father was injured on the battlefield. He believed himself unfit to rule. A great choice on his part, because a mere 4 months into her reign, Eleanor-Grace negotiated an end to the war. In the past three years, her kingdom has been recovering and entering a new age of peace, and her father was able to relax and focus on his health.
