Manny lunges, attacking with brute strength. His die rolls to determine the strength of his attack. He rolls a nineteen. The blow against the first goon splatters him, killing him instantly.

Manny's power grows as he gains a better grip on his abilities, but he also feels something crawling down his neck, a burning itch. He ignores it as two others attack. He rolls to counter.

He gets a seventeen, he grabs one by the foot, and hits the other by slinging the first like a hammer. They're both killed on impact. The itching grows.

Silkress blasts the last one with an arcane bolt.

"Nice work kid," she smiles, "come now, we must hurry."

Manny hears something. The sound of crystals, or what one would think they'd sound like, as they glisten under a bright light. The sound builds up, going from calming and preety, to grating and unbearable.

Manny hears a third song, it's quiet, timid, and it's only one verse of what appears to be a full song. The singer says.

You have chosen a path of sin,
You at pushing this world to him.
Your quest is futile.
Just surrender to the end.
We can still save this kingdom.

Manny ignores the song and keeps moving. You reach the encampment, a military camp, heavily guarded, getting in isn't gonna be easy.

"How you wanna do this?" Silkress asks.

Manny thinks, he has a choice to make.
