It's been a three months since the war. Everything has been okay, if I could say that.

We had a bit of pause for a month because everyone wanted to know where Thorin was. Also they didn't think it was right for me to rule.

Because they didn't know me. But Dain stepped in and said that if they weren't going to accept the fact that I am the Queen, then they could leave.

Some did and I felt really bad. But others said they would give me a shot because I was, I am married to Thorin.

Last mouth I finished giving Thranduil and Bard what they were promised. Thranduil said that if we made anymore necklaces out of star light that he would gladly take them off my hands.

Bard and I made an contact that said Erebor and Dale will be primary traders to each other. Also that some humans or an race that lives in Dale could work in Erebor. If there where job openings. But that would go into play later on.

Today I had more meetings. Everyone has been going well. I mostly ask if they lived here before, if so what's the name. Then Balin looks for it. Then we go from there.

So to start this lovely day I put on a emerald green dress with a gold belt.
Once I was dressed my six year old daughter came running in with her cousin running after her.

"Mommy! Help me!!" Sapphire screamed. Kili hurried over and picked her up.

"Kili would you mind putting her down?" I asked.

"But I wanted to show you how well I did with dressing her!" He pouted. I smiled at him, then looked at my daughter. She was wearing a dark purple dress that had a corset that was white.

"I would have gone with just a belt but you did good. Now why else have you come here?"

"I wanted to ask if Tauriel could come and stay for a bit." I smiled.

"Of course, now Sapphire would you like to join Balin and I today?" I knew Sapphire didn't have training classes today, and she's been asking to come with me.

"Can I?"

"Only if you want too." I smiled down at her. "But you need to be patient and quite."

"And if I don't?" I frowned at her.

"Then cousin won't take you to see your father. Now apologize to your mother Sapphire." Kili said crossing his arms.

Sapphire's been testing the waters with things lately. It's just a fase, Bolg went through it too when he was her age.

"I'm sorry mom, can I still go?"

"Yes, but if you do it again then you won't attend your first day of training with the other kids."

"Okay mama."

"Come let's go. Wouldn't want to be late now would we?" Sapphire shook her head and followed me to the North Converse.

I sighed when I saw all the dwavers. This is going to be fun! But long.

"Thank you Queen Laci!"

"Okay now Mr. and Mrs. Ironfoot we have your record. I believe your father was a guard or the water tower. Would you like to have his old position?" The man sighed.

"When my father took that position, we never saw him. He would be gone months at a time."

"We changed the terms. I know how important family is."

"So it is true then?" The woman asked.

"What's true?" I asked.

"Why you hide your daughtet? You hide her because she's all you have left."

"Not exactly! Mommy's gonna have another baby!" I wanted to bang my head into the table when that came out of Sapphire's mouth. We've been keeping my pregnancy a secret.

"Sapphire!" I hushed her.

"Your having an heir?" She asked.

"Yes." I sighed.

"Why haven't you told anyone? That's great news for Kingdom!" I looked at her.

"How so?" I finally looked at Balin. He shrugged.

"It gives hope. Although your little girl is an heir obviously. With a new one on the way the line of Durin is secure."

"It is with Kili." I pointed out.

"He's the son of Fins son, not Thorin's."

"Kili's mother is the daughter of Thrain." Balin said. "But I understand, with the King gone his kids will take over. Kili is a back up."

"Kili isn't a back up! He can be King if he wishes and if I wish." I said. Sapphire grabbed my hand. "I wish to tell the kingdom when I am ready. Can I hold you two to your word not to tell anyone?"

"Of course my Queen!" They said in a hurry. I nodded and they got up and left.

Balin and I started picked up papers and cleaning up when he turned to me.

"How is the baby anyways?"

"Alright, when Gandalf came last week he checked me. Said everything was in order and great!"

"That's great! Now as your friend, I would suggest you should take Sapphire to see her Aunt."

"Dis is here?" I thought she was coming next month.

"Yes, she doesn't know about Thorin yet. Try not to break the news to her yet."

"What about Fili?" He sighed.

"She knows that's why I think she came a month early."

"Thank you." I smiled, "Sapphire come let's go see your Aunt Dis."

"Okay mommy!" She skipped over and took my hand. I had no idea where Dis would be but I think I knew.

Eventually Sapphire and I ran into Kili and he wanted to tag along. We went to two places before I thought of going down to where Fili was "laid to rest"

I didn't know how I actually made everyone not want to burry them. Also how I got them to put Thorin in the study that was connected to our room. Honestly I didn't want to believe they were dead. Because I knew in my heart they weren't.

"Mom?" Kili called out as we walked into the room.

"Kili dear!!!" Came a cry from inside the room. Then a woman who looked like Thorin looked around the corner. Then ran to him and Sapphire engulfing them in a hug.

I had to laugh at Sapphire's face. She was giving me the 'get her off of me' look. Dis let go and turned to Sapphire. "Oh who are you?" She asked.

My turn! "Sapphire this is your Aunt Dis. Dis this is your niece Sapphire." Dis looked at me then Sapphire.

"I'm sorry I believe we haven't met." Dis said.

"Mom this is Thorin's wife. My aunt your sister-in-law." Kili said and I smiled.

"When did they get married? Also when did they have a kid? Most importantly why did I just now here about you?" I could tell Dis was getting angry. I mean I would too. My brother just happens to have a wife and kid that I never knew about.

"Where is that brother of mine? Where's Thorin?" Kili and I stayed silent. How were we suppose to tell her?

"Thorin's dead mom." Kili said.

"What do you mean he's dead?" There was no emotion on her face.

"Kili will you take Sapphire to go get some food? Your mother and I will join you shortly." He nodded and took Sapphire away from the conversation.

"Care to explain?" Dis asked. I motioned for her to sit down in a chair, with a sigh she did. "I already lost one of my babies. How could I lose my brother as well." She started to cry.

"Their not dead." I whispered loud enough for her to hear. She looked up at me.

"W-what do you mean?"

"You can chose to believe me or not. But I'll start with my history. I'm one of the four last living Dragon-borns. You'll meet them in due time. But I can give someone the soul of a dragon. As long as their soul is strong enough to combine the two."

"How is this relent?" She asked.

"Just listen, I traveled with the company for some time. When they found out about me your boys wanted to become one. But I told me no, also that the one person that could become one would be Thorin. Because he was my true love. The person my soul was intertwined with. But at Fili's last moments I gave him a soul of a dragon."

"So my son will become something that my people hate?"

"Actually our people. With marring Thorin I became the Queen. Balin and Dain wished I kept the position with the absence of the King."

"Why you?"

"Because I carry the heir to the throne. Although Sapphire is the first she is a girl. If what I carry is a boy then he shall have the throne. Now-"

"What about Kili? He's my son!"

I sighed, sometimes I really hate dwarves! "Listen, I talked with Kili about it. But he says he couldn't and wouldn't do that to Sapphire and the unborn Heir. He said if for any reason I wish for them to not be next in line for the throne then he will do it. But back to business I don't know how Thorin got a soul of a dragon but they aren't dead."

"And you know this how?"

I rolled my eyes. "I can feel and hear their heart beat. It is weak yes, but there's still hope. Although they look like they are dead there not. They're going through a changing process. Now you are the only one who knows of this."

"Why didn't you tell anyone else?"

"Because I wish to see the look on there faces when they wake up. Also I don't have evidence that they are exactly alive. If they don't wake up before the baby have arrived then I'm giving up. Now I'm going to dinner, you can attend if you wish or you can stay here and not believe me."

With that I walked down to dinner and enjoyed the time with my friends and 'family'.
