**Few hours before the attack.
  

"Before you go..." pahabol na sambit ng Sage.

"May posibilidad na magkakaroon na naman ng pangalawang atake. It's just a matter of when and how."

Bakas sa mukha ng dalawa ang pagkabigla.

"How do you know?" tanong ng babae. She's the vice president of the Higher Student Council.

"Just a hunch," the sage replied.

"Bakit 'di mo to sinabi kanina sa pagpupulong?"

The sage paused for a moment. Lumapit siya sa bintana where he can see the entire landscape of Silverleaf Academy.

"Who do you think is the enemy?" tanong niya sa dalawa.

Nagtinginan ang dalawang estudyante at parehong walang nasagot.

"That's exactly what I mean," sambit ng sage at mabilis na naglaho.

ALEXANDRA'S POV

Napalingon ako nang makita kong nagising na si Taryn. May iilang pasa siya sa katawan but nothing serious. She coughed and catches her breath. Wala pa ring malay si Nyla at nasa gitna pa rin kami ng winasak na dorm.

"What...?"

I can see the horror on her face nang makita niya ang sitwasyon. There's blood and body parts everywhere. It was like a horror movie with gore scenes kung saan tila minasaccre ang buong lugar.

"Lex... w-what happened?"

I immediately changed my emotion.

"U-umalis na tayo dito Taryn! S-Si Nyla buhatin natin." I am trembling. Acting like I didn't know what to do.

Mabilis naman nakarecover si Taryn at pinagtulungan naming buhatin si Nyla. We found a safe place na medyo malayo sa dorm. Nasa magubat kaming bahagi ng campus at hindi ito naabot ng atake. Sinandal namin pareho si Nyla sa puno. Wala naman siyang sugat but the impact itself must cause her a mild concussion.

"What exactly happened, Lex?"

Tulala pa rin ako at hindi tumitigil ang pag nginig ng mga kamay ko.

Biglang hinawakan ni Taryn ang dalawang balikat ko. "Lex, calm down and explain to me what happened." I like how composed she is despite the situation.

"H-Hindi ko alam. S-Sobrang bilis ng nangyari. Narealize ko nalang na nasa harap na natin si Kaizen habang pilit na sinasangga ng shield niya ang atake na mula sa taas. Umalis rin siya agad nung masiguradong safe tayo para tumulong sa iba."

Napatango siya as she carefully assessed the information that I gave her.

"Looks like the academy were invaded by monsters of different classes. I can sense their magic from here."

"A-anong gagawin natin? L-Let's find some help."

Hinawakan ni Taryn ang mga kamay ko. "Mas ligtas kayo rito lalo na't hindi pa natin alam ang kabuuang sitwasyon. Baka kumakalat na ang mga kalaban sa buong campus so I want you two to stay here." She casted a spell to both of us at naramdaman kong kumalma ako.

"I cast both recovery and protection magic to both of you. Hindi kayo makikita ng kalaban for an hour and I want you stay hidden in these woods. Babalik ako pagkatapos ng isang oras. If I can't return from then, gisingin mo si Nyla at umakyat kayo sa puno using her magic. Stay there until someone helps."

"But Taryn..." pag-angal ko. Manganganib ang buhay niya kapag pumunta siya sa training grounds. Doon ang sentro ng kalaban.

"Don't worry. Hindi ako lalaban kapag alam kong hindi ko kaya. My magic is needed right now lalo na't maraming sugatan. I'll focus on helping and healing. So stay here until help arrive, okay?" Her voice is so gentle it almost sounds like a lullaby.

Taryn specializes in healing and protection using Light magic yet she is also skilled in combat and attack-type of magic.

"Be careful," buong pag-alala kong sambit.

Mabilis siyang umalis patungo sa center ng campus at naiwan kami dito ni Nyla sa gitna ng kakahuyan.

When I made sure na tulog pa rin si Nyla, I switched from 'Alexandra personality' to my original form. I waited for a few moment.

I jumped from the ground to the canopy of the highest tree where I can get a better view. Masyadong malayo ang location ng training grounds mula rito but I can still see it clearly using the Eyes of Helios. The Greek God of Sight. From normal brown eyes, my eyes changed to yellow.

"Hmm... not bad," I whispered to myself. There are 2 general and 3 emissary class monsters. The two emissaries appears to be a golem made of stones. While the 3 general class are smaller with human-like features. One with a scale, one with wings, and one with demon-like horns. Each displays their unique abilities.

A few special class monsters are spread within the perimeters of the main buildings and training grounds. They're already in control of the campus.

The Headmaster's office remains untouched. The palace knights are protecting the place.

The top warrior students, knights, as well as the other faculty helps to defend the academy from the attack. Nakikita ko sila mula rito kung gaano sila nahihirapan. But Aoi and the girl I saw with him earlier already took down the 2 emissary class monsters.

Hindi sila nahihirapan dahil malakas ang kalaban, kundi dahil tila walang limit ang recovery skill ng mga ito. Aoi slashed the golem in half and in a few minutes, it returns back up.

Para silang mga monster sa laro na patuloy na nag rerespawn. If this keeps up, they'll run out of stamina and mana until they get killed.

The palace is already aware of my existence. If I interfere once again, masasayang lang ang pinaghirapan kong pagtatago ng ilang taon.

Or maybe...

Agad akong lumingon and blocked the attack which was about to hit me.

"Hoh... Pretty fast." A person suddenly appeared from another tree, holding a staff and covered in a cloak.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
  

"How did she...?" The attacker was surprised when the girl that she saw in the woods actually blocked her attack.

Wala siyang naramdamang malakas na mana mula sa babae therefore he underestimated her. He thought she was just skilled in hiding and climbing trees pero laking gulat niya na mabilis mag react ang babae.

"You actually blocked that? Your senses are pretty sharp."

Alexandra moves from another tree, not taking her eyes from the attacker.

"Who are you?" she asked.

The attacker grinned as his staff glows. "It doesn't matter, you're gonna die anyway."

In just a short moment, a monster appeared right below her. Muntik na siyang mahuli if she were any slower.

"Such speed and reflexes. How can a mere highschooler...?"

Nagulat ang kalaban when a dagger pierced right through the heart of its summoned monster. It fell from the tree at bumungad sa kanya si Alexandra holding a dagger infused with magic. Her eyes glows in gold as she grins terrifyingly.

"B-But that was an Emissary-class monster!" the attacker thought to himself once again. "Just who is she..."

"Protect!" the attacker immediately cast a barrier towards himself before Alexandra almost stabbed her from behind.

She appeared right behind him in just a split second. Doon na siya sinimulang kabahan.

"I'm gonna ask you once again. Who are you?" Her eyes still glow in yellow as she glares towards him. Mabilis na nag teleport ang lalaki at lumipat sa puno na medyo malayo sa kanya.

"Interesting. For a mere high school student to possess such talent... I, Kargarus, the Lord of Summons, deserve to know thy peasants' name before I kill you!" Malademonyo siyang tumawa as a horned, red, giant creature ascend from the ground. Alexandra's aware that it's a demon. And it requires an extreme amount of skill and mana to summon one. The enemy is indeed strong.

"Alexandra Dust," pagpakilala nito.

"Alexandra... It's such a pity that I have to kill you."

The monster attacked her with its giant fist, pero pasimple lang itong iniiwasan ni Alexandra. The forest is already half destroyed.

"You know that the bigger the enemy, the easier it is to target, right?" she grinned as she threw two daggers straight towards the eyes of the demon, making it completely blind.

The demon attacked her blindly using hell fire magic which can burn anyone and everything into ashes. But Alexandra didn't even bother to dodge it and she came out completely unscathed.

"A-Anong...? Pano...?" Hindi makapaniwala ang lalaki sa kanyang nasaksihan.

"Bakit mo 'to ginagawa?" she asked once again but this time, it was already a threat.

Kargarus tried to retain his composure and grinned. "You're good as dead anyway so I'll tell you. Hinahanap namin ang Servant. The Wise King's strongest assassin who disguised herself as his maid, killing thousands of people 250 years ago. We believe that she possesses the Blessing of the Gods which makes her able to borrow their powers and make it her own. Alam naming nandito siya sa kaharian ng Merania."

"By mean 'we', are you their boss? Are you the one responsible for this attack?"

Kargarus removes his hood, revealing a middle-aged man grinning proudly from ear to ear. Namumula ang mga mata niya and he's certain that he will kill this ordinary highschool student.

"Boss? More of like the King—"

Hindi pa natapos magsalita si Kargarus when Alexandra slashed his throat. Kargarus' head fell to the ground. The summoned monsters in the entire academy disappeared  altogether with the death of the summoner.

"King, huh?"

She stands behind the headless body of the man. Her eyes glows in gold as if she were possessed.

"Mage revealing his identity in front of an assassin? That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen."

She kicked the headless body of the summoner at nahulog ito mula sa malaking sanga kung saan siya pinatay.

"Tsk. All those dead bodies just to find me," naiinis niyang sambit as she jumped from the tree to where the body of Kargarus fell.

She stared coldly to the dead body of the Summoner. Her form slowly changed. Her dull and ordinary appearance transformed into that of a beautiful maiden with yellow eyes and dark hair. Her entire body is emitting a massive amount of power, even the gods above were awakened.

The Great Sage on the other side of the campus fell to its knees as he senses the terrifying amount of power coming from somewhere. He can't stop trembling as he feels like death itself is approaching. All his instincts are screaming to run away.

Alexandra touched the corpse of the summoner until a strange glow covered the headless body.

"Steal," she whispered.

Golden dusts appeared from Kargarus' body and Alexandra slowly absorbs it.

"Come forth, Aquila," Alexandra called as a human-like monster with scales on its body similar to an aquatic creature ascended from the ground.

This is one of the General-class monsters that appeared on the attack which Kargarus summoned. The monster bowed before her.

"My lady, Verena." The monster called.

Alexandra grinned evily as she realized that she successfully acquired the summoning magic of one of the generals of the Order.
