Hello my lovelies, this story may not be a surprise, as most of you will  know not long ago I did post that I haven't been able to stop thinking about a couple of ideas for new stories. This one being one of the ideas I couldn't stop thinking about.

I've always been hesitant to try this genre, but now I think im ready to give it a whirl and I hope you all will like this idea too.

It's not fully ready yet but I wanted to release the character pictures and a little information first. As it's going to be complex, angsty, intimate and sensual. Erotic and maybe a little bit kinky.

Think modern day Seoul mixed with the old ottoman style Harems.

A couple warnings though to head on this story

Drinking blood does happen most of the time it's all very civilised and drank from a cup and the blood is bought and paid for

Certain human blood types are addictive like drugs

You can only kill a vampire by beheading them and quartering their bodies, but they can be poisoned and wounded. The blood of their mate the only thing that can save them.

Sunlight, garlic and silver stakes are all make believe as vampires can walk about in daylight and Chanyeol owns a silver sword.

There are still prejudices against vampires, many humans still fear them

Chanyeol has a harem, mainly as it's a traditional adopted from the Ottoman Empire, it consists mainly of vampires both men and woman who hope to be the mate of Chanyeol.

Every member of the harem has lessons in etiquette and follows an education to modern day standards

It's only one night a month that Chanyeol picks a companion from harem, it's not always for sex mostly it's so he can enjoy a lighter company.

Humans are equally sadistic

A human can become a vampire if it's needed to save their life.

Never in a million years did Baekhyun think his parents would try and sell him to to elevate their status. That his rare blood type was worth more money then that of his life.

Yet his life takes on a whole new meaning when he's saved by a raid and taken to the King of Vampires and placed under his protection. They shouldn't work but neither can deny the pull of the other and against the odds Baekhyun finds love with the King.

Chanyeol is so aware the peace between his kind and the mortals hangs by a thread, a thread that's close to snapping when a small faction of his kind keep trying to obtain the highly addictive Golden Blood.

When a young human is saved and bought to his palace in need of aid. He is reluctant to offer it, but relents and offers sanctuary in his harem especially when he leans he carries that rare blood that's highly addictive.

Never in his life did he imagine that this small beautiful human would make him feel more alive then he has in all his long life.

A Vampire and a human shouldn't match, but Baekhyun's love may just save his soul.

Park Chanyeol the Vampire King
Is over 3000 years old and a true pure blood vampire he was born one.
Responsible for the peace between his kind and humans
Ensures the majority of his kind live to modern day standards
Does drink human blood but only from blood purchased properly is also able to eat an drink normally.
Eyes shine a deep red when enraged or drinking blood
Assist world leaders with trade negotiations, war councils, terrorism and to find a cure for a cancer
Falls in love with Baekhyun.

Byun Baekhyun
A 25 year old human was in his final year of University studying stage management.
Family sold him to the harem for more status and wealth
Is aware of the vampire community but still feels it's all very Count Dracula
Hates the harem at first
Is assaulted by members of the harem for being both human and male and the clear favourite of the King
Willingly lets Chanyeol drink his blood to save Chanyeol's life
Becomes a target to other vampires as Chanyeol's weakness.
His beauty is ethereal and outshines the majority of the Harem.
Has a rare blood type but Chanyeol is not addicted

Kim Jongdae, Oh Sehun, and Zhang Yixing
Theses men are Chanyeol's confidants and aides.
The oldest is Jongdae he's even older then Chanyeol.
Respected by all the covens and humans alike.
They at first are sceptical of Chanyeol's favourite human but see the love blooming between them before the pair do.
Loyal and protective of Chanyeol and later in the story Baekhyun.
They on occasion do go hunting but mainly it's too as it law enforcement and like their king never drink human blood unless it's bought and paid for.

"Will you join me tonight little one?"

"So your telling me he's not some sex crazed monster?"

"No the harem is a sanctuary, yes I won't lie and say intercourse doesn't happen but it's very rare, normally you will be picked to join our king for supper sometimes a walk in the garden."

"I must admit my perception of you is and was completely wrong and for that I am sorry."

"This rebellion and its leader needs to be squashed quickly!"

"You were born to be a part of my world, I will not live a second without you my love! I promise I will make this right and together we will have vengeance!"

"When you have lived as long as we have, nothing shocks you anymore!"

"Give him my blood, I beg you if it's the only thing that will save him then I give it freely."

"He has a AB- blood type Chanyeol, you know that's life threatening should he be harmed, none of our purchased blood will be a match for him!"

"I feel like a caged bird and a performing Monkey."

"I didn't know I could feel so alive, and I do only when I'm with you."

"There's no bed here, do you not sleep at all!"

"It's your eyes, it's like they see straight into my soul yet I'm not afraid as my heart and soul it's yours!"

"In all the centuries I've walked this earth, I've never felt like I do when I'm with you!"

"You are a scourge in our lives and it's about dam time you know your place!"

"My love who did this to you?"

"Byun Baekhyun is a human, well let's make sure he stays that way, or better yet let's rid of his place in this palace!"

"You can do this baby!"

"I've never felt anything like that before!"

"Vampires have mates?"

"Chanyeol has spent his life working for the grater good of our kind, it's thanks to him that we have the peace we do now. Yes there are a small faction of our kind and human alike who hate our treaty. They've never succeed in destroying it before, and they certainly won't now Chanyeol has something precious to protect!"

"I love him with all my heart, please tell me what I can do to help!"

"You are so  beautiful!"

"Please tell me I'm the only one for you, I will not share you!"
