Third Person's POV:

"Daddy! Papa! Let's go! Let's go!" Amerie cheered eagerly as she jumped on the spot in her yellow yukata and a pair of red geta which both had floral patterns on it. The excited look on Amerie's face caused Lucifer to chuckle softly as he patted her head lightly for her to calm down.

Amerie's outfit ^

"Wait a minute Am, Daddy's not down yet-"

"Daddyyyy! Hurry up!" She shouted impatiently, making Lucifer wince slightly under her high pitch scream. The little girl just couldn't wait to attend the Rising Sun's carnival. It's a yearly thing whereby they will have a carnival for different lands each year. Last year's was the land of Earth, this year's the land of the Rising Sun and next year will be the land of Waves. The citizens will dress in the traditional costumes of the different lands if they're up to it and immerse themselves in the food and games the carnival has to provide for them.

"Coming!" Eros swiftly replied from above and in less than 5 minutes, he came sliding down the stairs' railing in a matching attire with Lucifer's only that his yukata was of a lighter shade. After last night's explanation, he and Amerie made up with a hug and a 'Sorry daddy" but the words he longed for were nowhere to be heard. Nonetheless, he sucked it up and pushed it to the back of his mind, convincing himself that Amerie is just a child so she wouldn't be able to remember what she've said, whether she meant it or said it in the heat of the moment. Hopefully the latter.

"Matchiee..." Amerie said in awe as she stared up at her Daddy and self-labelled Papa. Lucifer on the other hand stared at Eros slightly exposed luscious chest, definitely thanks to him sliding down the banister which caused the yukata to loosen, like a piece of canvas. Making a mental 3D image of Eros bare and perfectly sculptured structure in his very own mind, he felt his nose bleed internally at his dirty thoughts.

"Oh. We do." Eros commented in disbelief, slightly shocked at his own choice of clothes. When Lucifer had let him feel free to pick whichever he liked, he didn't expect himself to pick the almost same attire as Lucifer's. In addition to Lucifer's hungry look and for an unknown reason, he felt his cheeks heat up the longer he stared back. It was like a thousand birds flapping wildly in his heart, as if fighting one another fiercely. His heart was thumping so fast and hard, he could just faint on the spot.

They're outfit ^

"Daddyyyy! Papaaaaaaaaaaaa! Let's gooooooo!" Amerie's sudden exclamation snapped the 2 male out of their own little worlds as they nodded softly towards their little girl before trailing behind her out to the carnival site. There the individual booths stood out brightly with their bright colourful storefront and lighting. Children laughter and light-hearted chatters filled the air as citizens of all ages and gender roamed the streets with awe-struck looks on their faces. This made Lucifer's heart swell at how his citizens are enjoying what he've planned for them.

"Here you go." Lucifer dug out two bags of coupons and placed a bag each into Eros's and Amerie's hands, and of course Amerie's one was much smaller as compared to Eros's.

"What this, Papa?"

"Tokens. You can play any games or eat any kind of food you want as long as you have them."

"I wanna, I wanna play fishie!" Amerie exclaimed excitedly, pointing towards the booth with goldfish scooping.

"Sure. Let's go then."

"Hold our hands, sweetheart. We don't want you lost right?" Eros called out for his daughter gently, making her nod eagerly before linking her small hands in Eros's and Lucifer's large ones. Little did they know, many were staring at the family of 3 in awe and surprise, some taking photos while others cooing at the adorable sight before them. They never knew their King had a lover, much less a male one and to make things larger, they had a child that no one knew of. But they were happy for him to say the least. They never saw their King ever smile so brightly before and the look in their King's eyes says it all that he's utterly in love with the smaller man beside him.

"Token?" Amerie questioned the booth owner as the old man smiled down softly at the little girl.

"It'll be 2 tokens little miss. Oh my, good evening King Merci. Hope you're enjoying the carnival till now." He gasped lightly when he saw the King walking towards the booth with another man in hand, keeping an eye out on the little girl as he approached. He didn't know that the King had a lover and even a child. Did he miss the crowning ceremony?

"Thanks sir. I think I will be enjoying it." Lucifer thanked the man politely as he took out 18 tokens and gave it to him, getting 9 scoops and 3 pails in return. Passing 3 scoops and a pail each to the two of them, he sat by the large container, taking his place beside Eros who's watching the fishes intently while Amerie was sloshing her 2nd already worn out scoop in the container with a scowl on her face when she couldn't catch any. After a good 15 minutes or so, Amerie came out with 0, Eros with 20 and Lucifer with 8, making the people there stare at him with mouth open in disbelief.

'Quick reflex.' was the only thing he said before releasing all 20 fishes back into the container, claiming that it'll only become a burden due to its weight. Hence they're only left with the 8 which Lucifer had caught. Amerie was too busy checking out the fishes Lucifer had caught, she've long forgotten her failed attempt in trying to catch any fishes.

"Where shall we go next?"

"Can we try that?" Eros asked eagerly, wanting to try out the weird looking thing which is known to all as squid as he pointed at a certain booth. Without even any hesitation, Lucifer replied with a quick 'sure' before leading them over to the booth, his hands firmly wrapped around the 2 dearest wrists. With that being said, he had ordered 5 in total, one for him and Amerie while 3 for Eros as he got addicted to its flavour and couldn't stop until he felt slightly sick from overeating while on his 3rd stick so Lucifer had to finish up the rest for him.

"Shall we go there next?" This time, Lucifer suggested a booth which the other 2 agreed to quickly. It was a gun-shooting booth. Before they can even move off, a group of children ran pass Eros wildly, knocking him off his feet and into Lucifer's firm embrace. "You alright?" Lucifer questioned worriedly as he wrapped his arms around his crush's torso firmly.

"Yeah. Thanks Ray." Eros smiled softly at Lucifer,silently glad that the place was dark enough to hide his growing blush. Getting back to his feet, he felt one of his geta slip off his feet, making him pout in displeasure before sighing softly. At least no one was hurt. The strap must've broken when one of the little kid accidentally stepped on his feet. As if sensing his distress, Lucifer stared down to where Eros was staring, only to shrug lightly and made Eros hold the both sides of his shoulder.

Feeling the firm grip on his broad shoulders, Lucifer slipped off his own geta and stood barefoot on the rocky surface before making Eros slip his own pair off and to put Lucifer's one on. At first, Eros stood there hesitantly, not wanting to trade shoes with Lucifer but the look in Lucifer's eyes told him that he wasn't going to win the argument if there is one. After ensuring that Eros had worn his geta, Lucifer bent down to pick up the broken pair which he believed can be repaired when he gets back to the castle. No way is he disposing them away.

"Let's go. We're still going shooting remember?"

"Ray." Eros tugged onto Lucifer's sleeve, making him stop and turn back to look into Eros's eyes. "Your feet-"

"Don't worry Kai. This is nothing."

"But your feet will bleed and-"

"It's nothing compared to yours. Your feet are only meant to be pampered with soft kisses and soothing massages not-" Realising what he had blabbered out unknowingly yet so naturally, Lucifer stopped mid-sentence in embarrassment with a blush creeping up his cheek. At the same time, slightly fearing that Eros might think of him as a freak.

"Thank you, Ray." Eros whispered softly into Lucifer's ear, making him swoon at how melodious and seductive Eros voice sounded.

"No worries, Kai. Anything for you." Being trapped in their own little world, they zoned out on the wide eyes people were giving them as they stared deep into the other's beautiful pair of eyes. Gasps were heard as the citizens tried to hide their excitement from the mini show done by their King for his lover. They never knew that their King was such a gentleman and a thoughtful lover. Camera flashes went off as they took videos and snapshots of the scene, posting it online and spreading the wonderful news.

After another 2 hours of games and food, Amerie getting a large teddy bear from Lucifer while Eros winning a pair of matching wristbands for him and Lucifer and a large packet of traditional snacks from a lucky draw game, they finally decided to rest as they made their way to the large empty field where many people were gathering at, waiting for the fireworks show.

With Amerie laying against Eros chest and Eros laying against Lucifer's, Lucifer buried his face into Eros's neck as he breathes in his sweet alluring scent of honey and vanilla. This made Eros giggle at how ticklish Lucifer's hair felt against his neck as he turned his head around to stare at Lucifer.

"Yes? Anything wrong?"

"I have something I need to tell you..." Fear clouded Eros's and Lucifer's eyes as they were held in suspense.

"What's the matter? You can tell me anything."

"I... I think I'm starting to like you too." Almost right after, the fireworks show started, making Eros turn back to watch the show with mesmerized eyes and Lucifer to stare at Eros in disbelief and most of all, happiness. A bright smile plastered itself onto his face as he replayed Eros's words in his mind.

So guess what was the headlines of the papers the next morning. Of course, it's who's the mysterious young man that made their King hollered "Yes!" louder than the fireworks.
