Just as he was about to leave the abandoned area, a loud piercing scream rang through the air, making him snap his head quickly to the source to spot a little girl no older than 5, getting chased by one of the enemies. "Come back here you brat!" The monster spat as he chased after her. The little girl's long hair sprawled all over the place as she tried to frantically swipe her hair out of her face while trying to escape the large man chasing after her...

Wasting no time at all, Eros dashed into the scene and swooped the little girl away, disappearing out of the enemy's sight before the enemy even got any time to notice what have happened.

How the little girl looks like ^

"Let me go! Let me go!" The little girl screamed at the top of her lungs as she felt herself getting whisked away.

Eros covered her mouth immediately to stop her from screaming but received a sharp bite in return that caused him to hiss in pain. Barging into a run down house which was thankfully free from flames, he set her down gently before shaking his hand to relieve the numbing pain inflicted by the little beauty. She stared up at Eros with curiosity, wondering why he hasn't killed her yet, making him chuckle internally at her cuteness.

"I'm not going to hurt you love, I'm not one of them."

"You good?" She questioned Eros hesitantly as he nodded in return, easing the child's fear.

"Yes, love. I'm good. Where are your parents? Did you get separated from them?"

"Amerie no parents. Amerie alone. Amerie scared." She whimpered softly as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Don't be scared, Amerie. I'm here for you. Can you stay here and keep quiet? Once I'm done with the bad guy, I'll bring you to safety okay?"

"Yes Mister!" She chirped out eagerly yet softly, afraid to get found out by the man that was chasing her before she met this good guy.

Nodding at her obedience, Eros snuck out of the house silently to see the large man rummaging around the large rubble, trying to find the little girl. Disgusting. "Come out come out little girl. You don't have to be so afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." He sang in a sickly sweet tone, making Eros barf internally at how gross it sounded.

Picking up a glass bottle that was laying beside his hiding place, he threw it in a pile of debris, resulting in a shuffling sound which made the large man think that the little girl was there. "You can't run now little girl. Daddy's coming for ya~" He male chuckled deviously as he slaughtered towards the debris next to Eros's hiding spot. In just a swift movement, Eros slice the male into half as he ran his blade from the tip of the guy's head to the tip of his male anatomy, that's if he even has one at the first place. Satisfied with his fine work, he swiped the filthy blood off his blade before shedding his katana back into its scabbard and then speeding back into the house to check on the little girl.

"Bad guys no more?" A soft and angelic voice sounded as Eros turned to face the little girl.

"No more." He reassured her, making her break out into a wide toothy grin. "Come on, let's go little one." Bending down to pick her up, he watched the little angel's eyes snap wide open before feeling a sharp pain slice through the center of his chest. Looking down, he spot the blade of a long sword lodged into his chest as blood poured out from his deep wound. Knowing that he couldn't stand to waste anymore time, he pulled the sword out of his wound in one swift move before slicing the person who had thrust the sword into him in half around the waist area.

Turning back to face the innocent child, instead of seeing fear in her eyes which Eros had expected to see, he saw her staring at him like some kind of idol as she broke into a bright smile. "Daddy!"

"Da-Daddy?" Eros questioned, flabbergasted by what she had called him.

"Yup! Amerie's daddy! You pwotect me like my daddy did so you my daddy now!" Amerie squealed in delight upon appointing Eros as her new dad. Now she will no longer be alone as she now has a new dad.

Not knowing how the systems actually works, Eros simply nodded at the little angel before him with a soft smile on his face. Picking her up, he sprinted all the way back to the castle where his men are, only to collapse on the ground in anguish when the adrenaline left him, the pain hitting him hard like a bulldozer.

"Alpha! Are you alright?!" One of the pairs rushed over to his side immediately, one of them attending to Amerie while the other quickly accessed Eros's injuries.

"Shit. We have to get you to the hospital, Alpha. You're losing too-"

"Just... patch me up. I want to go back now. How's the rest? How's Benedict's partner?" Eros gritted out, biting back a scream as he tried to sit up to find the injured male. The pain in his chest erupted, making it feels like someone is hammering away on his chest without holding back at all.

"Alpha, please stay still. You should be worrying about yourself now. Everyone, including Benedict's partner, Leroy, are fine. His wounds are not as deep as we've thought. He's helping around the castle currently after having a blood transfusion around an hour ago." Eros man explained

Hearing that his man was alright, Eros let out a long sigh of relief before letting out a low groan when he heard rushed footsteps running towards his direction.

"Kai, are you alright?! No you're not! We have to get you to the hospital now! Med-" Upon seeing the Queen of the Land of Ice, everyone instantly made way for her to pass, making sure to greet her respectfully with a bow. However, the only one who caught her gaze is the ecru-head male, her first crush, who's bleeding out on the castle ground, staining the castle's crystal blue floor with fresh red blood.

"I'm fi.... fine, Clover." Eros panted out as he fought to catch his breath. He knew that he's losing too much blood but was unwilling to stay in the Land of Ice for another day or so where he may not have the chance to survive. He wanted to fulfill his promise to Lucifer to go back to him alive. He'll rather die in somewhere where he feels like he belongs in rather than some foreign land. He'll rather see his 'best friend' face for the last time before he dies rather than someone he doesn't know. 'Best friend... how come it feels like he's more than just a 'best friend'?' Eros questioned himself quizzically before turning to a flustered looking Clover.

"But-"

"I'm fine, Clover. Is our plane ready? I wish to bring the guys back now."

"I'll get it ready for take off. I'll get one of my medics to wrap you up in the meanwhile. Hopefully it'll help to stop the bleeding though I don't think it'll be of much help."

"Thanks Clover. I appreciate it."

"No worries Kai. Just focus on resting in the meanwhile, alright?" Clover stroked her crush's head lovingly, as if trying to take the pain away from him. All of the people in the castle, which includes Clover's and Kai's man, watched the scene play out in disbelief.

Clover's man were astonished as they couldn't believe that their Queen is treating a male, not to say from a foreign land, with utmost care and concern. Tears threatening to fall from her face as she bit back a cry. Their Queen never expressed that much emotion to anyone of them before. It made them wonder if the person laying down there is her lover or future husband.

Kai's man on the other hand were speechless. They couldn't believe how their Alpha had interacted so informally and demandingly to a Queen, especially on the Queen's own land. What they really couldn't swallow down is how the Queen herself is worried over their Alpha and doing as their Alpha wanted despite not receiving full respect. All they can wonder is whether their Alpha is of Royalty or the Queen's secret lover.

"No! Daddy help! Daddy!" Eros snapped his head to Amerie's cries to see a guard trying to bring her to the shelter where everyone else is to regroup. Big fat tears were rolling down her beautiful face as she held her hands out for her daddy to save her.

"Let her go." Eros half commanded and half requested, resulting in the guard to loosen his hold on the Amerie. Without losing even a second after she's released, she scampered as fast as her tiny feet can carry her all the way to Eros side before plopping her ass down beside him with more tears flowing down her precious face.

"D-Daddy?" Amerie called out extremely softly when she saw the state her dad is in. It reminded her too much of her biological parents who died shortly after being in that state.

"Yes love?" Eros rasped out weakly as a medic lifted him up gently to bandage his whole torso and chest area up with thick layers of medical cloth.

"Daddy no die... right? Right?!" Eros smiled softly at the desperate little girl in front of him as he held his hand up to her. Not even bothered by the blood on Eros's hand, Amerie swiftly grabbed his hand in hers before placing it on her cheek, much to both of their delight.

"Of course not, my love. Daddy no die." He wheezed out as he felt blood threatening to escape his lips, making him swallow back. Every simple action of breathing and talking hurt but he wasn't going to show that in front of the angel before him.

"Kai, the plane's ready- who's is she?" Clover questioned curiously when she spotted Amerie beside Eros. As if on cue, Amerie stood up to introduce herself, not afraid that it's the Queen that she's talking to.

"I'm Amerie and I'm 4. My daddy and mummy died when I'm 3 and since good guy saved me from bad guy just now, good guy now my daddy!" She exclaimed in joy when she announced to the Queen that she had acknowledge Eros as her dad.

"Kai, are you willing to adopt her as your daughter?" Eros scrunched his brows up in confusion as he have no idea what adopt meant but nonetheless, he gave Clover a small nod. "Okay. Then I mail you the papers on a later date. You should get going now. You look like you're going to faint any minute now from how pale you look."

"Thanks Clove." Two of his man quickly dashed to Eros's side to help him to his feet before leading the rest and of course including Amerie to the plane as they got ready for take off. Little did they realize that the Queen of the Land of Ice was blushing 50 shades of red upon the nickname given to her.
