Lance's shop
Link's pov
"No Cedric!" I scream on top of my lungs. "You just don't seem to get it do you?" I grit my teeth as he holds up his hands in surrender. "I am part of this relationship too you know!"
"I know that Link...I—"
"No you don't!" I shake as I try to keep my rage at bay. "You never let me touch Bear or include me whenever you play with Bear!" I huff from all the pent up anger finding a release. "Instead of letting me join in, you punish me! You ignore me!"
"Link please..."
"No!" I take a step back as Cedric reaches out for me. "I will not stand for this!" I ignore the bewildered look Bear gives me as I storm passed him up the stairs having decided to take this opportunity to visit my family. As I pack my suitcase, I hear Bear and Cedric talk.
Both are still standing in the hall as I come lumbering down with my packed suitcase in tow. "You will see me when I get back."
"Link, please reconsider." I ignore Cedric's plead as I open the door as the taxi I ordered honked its horn.
"Where to?" The cabdriver asks as my suitcase is loaded in the booth and I am settled on the backseat.
"FOX International AirPort." I grumble as I check my pockets for my passport and cash. Instead of feeling relief, I feel my heart shudder as both Bear and Cedric become smaller and smaller in the back window of the car.
My eyes snap open as my body is roughly shaken from side to side and Ailsa's face come into focus. "What is it Ailsy?" I groan as I suddenly feel drained of all will to move.
"You need to get up cous, since you promised me to show me the 'hidden gems' of the Pleasure District." I rub my head as I vaguely remember promising Ailsy something along those lines.
"All right. All right, I am up. I am up!" Ailsy rolls his eyes as I growl at him as he continues to shake me until I sit up and throw the covers off my body. During my shower I plan out our route. First we need to go down Philip Street; a quaint little street with a lot of bustling shops, it's where all the young people go these days. Then we should go down Barber Street, I need to make an appointment for getting my hair cut and the bookshop is on that street. Then we could either take a guided tour or hang out at the memorial park after lunch, it will be up to Ailsy where we go and how he feels.

Ailsy looks bug eyed at all the amount of people his age crowding the streets. "You sure we are in the same place? Where did all these people come from?" I snort as his head whips from side to side. "Like a freaking anthill." He mutters under his breath as he side steps another rushing person.
"Then you will definitely like the next place we're going to." I chuckle as I take him down to Barber Street. He lets out a sigh of relief when he notices this street is not as busy as Philip Street. "Wait here okay?" I tell him as I am halfway into the barbershop. Ailsy shrugs and looks out into the street and smiles slightly as a busty blonde looks his way. Kids... I roll my eyes and walk into the trendy shop.
It doesn't take long for me to return outside. "How did it go?" I ignore Ailsy's question as I seethe at the outrages price they ask for just a wash and cut. "My guess is that it wasn't too grand." He mutters as he pants slightly to keep up with me.
Browsing the shelves of the little bookshop I have been at regularly, calms down my anger. Cheering softly as I find a few hidden gems in the bargain box, I happily pay Emily and wave as she wishes me a happy read. I have been coming here so much since my stay here that I am on first name terms with everyone of the staff.
"Well, if it isn't Link!" Blinking I am surprised to see Lance wave at me from across the street. I have never seen much of him since he cut my hair all those days ago.
"Lance!" We shake hands, "How have you been?" I ask, wondering if he will be willing to cut my hair again. As we chat a little about everything and nothing, he gives me a critical look.
"You need to cut your hair." He says eyeing my messy hair style with eyes of a professional. "And soon." Reaching out a hand, he brushes it through my hair and examines the split ends.
"I know," My shoulders slump thinking of the amount of money those Barber shops are asking. "But the only Barber shop I know is down this street, and they ask a fortune for just a wash and cut." I point at the barbershop and Lance grimaces.
"Then why not come to my shop? I am sure we can squeeze you in." Lance smiles as I look down to him in hope that he will be able to fit me in. "Follow me."
"You look good cous." I see Aisly standing in the doorframe as I keep running my hand through my freshly cut hair. "Are we going to meet those people form yesterday again today? You look like there is some unfinished business between the three of you."
"I know." I sigh, shoulders slumping. "But I don't want to leave you on your own." I tug a shirt over my head and stuff my feet in my shoes.
"No need to worry about me. Cordilia just texed me asking me, asking to meet up with her later today at the cinema." Aisly looks down at his phone as it chirps. "So go and have your talk and I will see you later tonight." He gives me a hug from behind and takes the spare room key and leaves me on my own.
"Let's get this over with." I grumble grabbing my keys, phone and wallet. Walking down the streets to Cedric's house, I feel my heart rate pick up and doubles it normal speed. It feels like I am about to have a heart attack. Taking a breather at the junction that leads to his house, I sit down on a low wall and enjoy the sunshine on my skin for a while. When my heart calmed down, I resume my trek to the stately Manor house. As I walk up the driveway, I see that both Bear's and Cedric's care are parked in the driveway. Good, this means we can finish this in one go.
"Hi Link." I can't suppress the urge to hug Bear as he opens the door after I rang the doorbell. Though, the swiftness with which he opened the door, told me that he was waiting near the door and allowed me to ring the bell and gave me a few seconds to collect myself. "So good to see and hold you again." He whispers softly against my hair before he lets go and ushers me inside.
"Would you like something to drink?" Bear hovers in the doorway that leads to the kitchen. Sitting down on one of the two armchairs, I nod my head and Bear bustles off to the kitchen. Not much later he returns with a tray filled with a couple of glasses with soda and a few snacks. Bear curls up in the other armchair telling me Cedric will be joining us soon as he has a Skype call in his study at the moment. That explains the soft murmuring I keep hearing.
"So..." I lament, "How have you been?" I ask to fill the awkward silence. A silence that never bothered us before. Bear looks okay, although maybe a little tired.
"I have been okay; I have been staying with Mistress Lauren for a while now." He pulls his feet up on the chair and wraps his arms around his knees. And I can't hide my surprise at the admission. I had thought he would have stayed with Cedric. "It didn't feel right to stay here without you here." He whispers sadly. "Nothing has been right since you left." The lost look in his eyes has my heart clench. "I hope you will be willing to give us a second chance. Give us a chance to make it up to you."
As much as I have told myself that I will not be giving into anything they have to say about making me stay here once more, I can't help but feel myself thaw at the yearning in Bear's eyes as he looks at me. I know that he is being sincere since as a former cop I have good bullshit radar and it is not screaming at me. "I don't know if I can return, but I am willing to listen to what you have to say."
"Thank you for that Pet." We both jolt as Cedric's deep voice drifts over room near the couch. "That is all we ask from you. All we want is for you to hear us out. Then you can make your decision about what you want to do." My heart skips a beat as my eyes land on Cedric's powerful form. "First of all, I want to apologise to the both of you." His eyes moves slowly from me to Bear and back again. "My behaviour towards both of you hasn't been what it should have been. I should have never put Bear above you Link. That was wrong of me to do." His whole form slumps a bit. "I can only hope you will be able to forgive me for my wrong doing and return to my arms."
My heart pounds loudly in my ears as Cedric continues to express his concern for his treatment of me and that he had spoken for long periods of time with Lauren how to handle two Subs should both Bear and me return to being his. The thought of leaving Cedric or Bear never ever crossed my mind though. The only reason I left was to sort out my own thoughts and hope that Cedric would see his fault of shutting me out.
"Leaving you two never crossed my mind." My voice is hoarse as I speak. Batting my lids real quick to keep the tears at bay. "I just wanted to remind you guys that I am part of this relationship as well and that I need care and attention as much as Bear does." I curse myself as my voice wobbles and grunt as Bear launches himself at me muttering things under his breath. "This doesn't mean I forgive either of you for your behaviour but I want to be here. This.....this is my home."
Cedric looks like he is about to burst out crying but manages to keep it together. "Do you want me to have two rooms prepared for you and your cousin?" I nod once and Cedric struts off to take care of it. "Oh and Link?" I look up from hugging Bear and Cedric is standing beside me. "I love what Lance has done with your hair." The words shouldn't make me blush but it did and makes my heart skip another beat.
"Thank you." I mumble looking down into Bear's shining eyes. A low moan leaves my throat as Cedric's hand ruffles through my hair and whine as it retreats. The door of the study closes and Bear's hand replaces Cedric's as he gently tugs on it. He climbs on my lap and with his hand buried in my hair, our lips meet for the first time in a long time. There is no tongue or any fancy moves, but it reminds me that this is home.
