Blue and Lacey finally surfaced a few seconds later. The pink mist had disappeared but the effects lingered on those touched by it.
   Blue grabbed her daughter by the shoulders and said, "I know this is a serious situation but I need you to trust me. I need to find the fairies and the protectors in case he finds the Wicked Nine before we can stop him!"
    "Mom, what's going on?"
    "There's no time to explain. For now, I need you to get ahold of Rose and let her know what's going on. Tell her to hide the Dark One dagger. Then, I need you to go to the Cave of Wonders and help Nova guard Jafar's staff."
    Lacey knew her mother must have a good reason for not revealing the situation so she simply nodded.

    Rose was walking down one of the hallways of her castle when her phone suddenly rang. Pulling it out the pocket of her dress, she quickly answered when she saw the caller ID.
    "Hey, Lacey. Sorry I'm running late for your birthday party. I've been stuck in council meetings all morning. But I got you something really special--"
    "Don't worry about that, Rose! Right now, we have a real emergency! Karayan came to my party! He's the villain and he was the one who stole those objects from the museum!"
    "Wait. Karayan's behind this?" Rose did a double take. "Ok. Well, just make sure he doesn't get his hands on any of the Wicked Nine! I'm gonna try to find him."
    With that, she hung up, rushing down the hall.

    Karayan had arrived at the door of the Fairy's Cottage.
    "According to what Fairy Godmother said, Maleficent's spinning wheel should be here."
    Just as he was walking through the door, he was surprised when several icicles were thrown in his direction. Karayan jumped back and raised his hand, a shield forming in front of him. The icicles bounced off the shield, allowing Karayan to step inside the cottage.
    "Oh is that all?" He mocked.
     A sudden wall of ice rose up in front of him. He looked throw the see-through wall to find Jack standing there, staff in hand.
    "Oh goodie! It's the guardian reject!" A dark look crossed Karayan's face. "Do you honestly think you can defeat someone with my power?"
    He magicked up the Evil Queen's spell book. Reading a spell and raising Maleficent's staff in the air, the ice wall broke, sending shards of ice flying in all directions.
    Karayan spotted Maleficent's spinning wheel just behind Jack who stood at a defensive pose. "Hmm...... how about we give this a test run?"
With that, he raised the staff and moved it in circular motions. String surrounded Jack, trapping him in place. Karayan walked over to the spinning wheel and grabbed the spindle. Grinning evilly, he pricked Jack's finger on it.
    Jack recoiled in fear just before he felt the sting of the needle. Then he found himself so sleepy. He was just so sleepy...
    He passed out.
    Karayan's evil grin grew wider. Grabbing the spinning wheel, he disappeared into thin air once more.
