The group laughed joyously at their victory. Merlin and Mordred were about to hug when they stopped. Both of them cleared their throats awkwardly before turning and separating into their separate groups: Merlin, Gideon, Elsa, Ruby, and Percival; Mordred, Talia, and Crystal; and Gregory, Cecilia, Nico, and Elene.
   "Guys, c'mon!" Ruby protested. "We need to learn to get along and be friends because we can be! We already bonded a little! Maybe if we get to know each other, we can be friends! How about this: we each say something nice about each other? Who wants to start?"
   Everyone was silent as they walked off. Ruby groaned in frustration. Percival hugged her and kissed her forehead. "It's ok, Ruby. Just give them time."
   "Well this was a waste!" Mordred said.
   "That leaves us with one choice. We need to split up."
   "So...basically my plan?" Mordred said. Merlin glared at him. "I'm just saying."
   "Whatever. Imma need your help anyway, Mordred. Elsa, you're with us."
   "Crystal, you're also with us." Mordred added. He gave Talia a look before saying, "You be safe. You'll be better off with the guys."
   "Ok then that means that Talia will go with Gideon, Percival, and Ruby."
   Gregory nodded. "Me and the newbies will be ok by ourselves."
    "Very well. You guys stay here and see if you can find any clues as to where Karayan may be. If you can't find anything, check the guest castle and Rose's castle. And if you find Rose, let me know. Mordred, you, I, and Elsa and Crystal are going to check each of the sights where Karayan was seen and look for clues. The rest of check the southern part of the island. Get in contact if you find out where Karayan might have gone."
    With that, the three groups parted ways.

   Merlin, Mordred, Elsa, Olaf, Crystal, and Bartok started at the Lake of Avalon. Kilgharrah and Aithusa were still scanning the island to see if they could find any sign of Karayan.
    "This is a mess!" Merlin proclaimed at the sight of most of his former classmates asleep.
   "It looks like this spell will either wear off in 24 hours or the person who cast it has to break it. Either way, they'll be sleeping for awhile." Crystal said.
    "Well, at least it looks like Lacey got away...for now." Elsa said.
    "Then let's check through these woods. There's a couple of cottages out here where he might've gone looking for the Wicked Nine."
    The group then followed Merlin as they headed into the woods.

    They had only been walking for a couple minutes when Crystal got distracted. "This is so cool!" She said, excitedly, as she picked a handful of berries off a bush. "Food off a bush! Can you imagine?"
    Elsa laughed. "You really get a kick outta this, huh?"
    "Well, this place is so fascinating!" Crystal said. "I mean, it's so clean and pretty! And you actually have woods that aren't chopped down. My dad loved the woods." Then she brightened. "Hey, maybe we should try that thing that Wolfie said! Um..ok I love your dress and the way you do your hair!"
    Elsa smiled. "Thanks. Well...I like the way you get a kick out of everything you see! The excitement is actually really refreshing."
    The two then hugged and giggled as they grabbed more berries off the bush.
    Merlin looked over at them and shook his head as he asked Mordred, "What happened to us, brother? We used to be so close!"
    "We were." Mordred said. "But I got so tired of always playing second fiddle to you. I guess we both kinda took after our moms and just started hating each other like they do."
    "It probably also doesn't help that I kicked you out of my life when Gideon, Elsa, and Ruby came along. I'm sorry."
    "I'm sorry I tried to steal your girlfriend."
    The two laughed when they saw the fairies' cottage come into view. The group was silent once more as they entered the cottage, only to find Jack Frost lying on the floor!
    "Oh no!" Elsa said, running over to him and trying to shake him awake. "Wake up, Jackie! Wake up!"
    "Is she slow or...?"
    "She's emotionally invested!" Merlin answered.
    "Oh." Mordred said. "Then the answer's simple. True love's kiss. Breaks every curse."
    "Well..." Elsa said. "We haven't exactly used the L word yet."
    "Perfect time to test it then." Merlin said.

   Elsa thought about their first meeting and how Jack had hit on her numerous times then insisted on joining the fight to rescue Rose.
   He had somehow gotten under her skin and wormed his way into her heart and she was not gonna lose him now!

   Elsa leaned in to kiss Jack when she felt some of her old anxiety coming back and shrunk back.

   Elsa pulled out her mom's mirror, enlarging it and sticking it on the wall, looking in it as she sang.
    Merlin and Mordred watched from the doorway.

   Merlin and Mordred were getting frustrated as Elsa again acting like she was gonna kiss Jack but moved away.
   Elsa ran out into the fairies' garden, singing:

   Elsa reentered the cottage and knelt beside Jack. Using her powers, she lifted him into the air.

   She leaned in and touched her forehead to his. Then she used her magic to lift him onto the nearest table.

   She finally leaned over and kissed him. Merlin and Mordred watched, leaning in, waiting.
   After a few minutes, Elsa turned away. It hadn't worked?
   From behind her, Jack stirred. He looked up and saw her there. He grinned and put a finger to his lips, telling Merlin and Mordred to stay quiet.
   Elsa turned back around and Jack was still lying there. She turned back around and felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned again and Jack was there, smiling.
   "Got ya!" He said.
   "You jerk!" She smacked him.
   "I love you too." He said, laughing.
   Moments later, they were in each other's arms, kissing, while Merlin and Mordred went out with Crystal to check the other cottage.
    Just as they were walking out the fairies' cottage, Mordred called, "Hey, bro! Your girlfriend is here!"
