The Search Party/Must Go Faster
After the dinosaurs escaped from their enclosures, the Tyrannosaurus pair, though not yet mates at the time, have gone off to explore their new territory. Especially since the power was completely off.
The more time they spent together, the stronger their feelings grew, and as they walked onwards, Rexy and Kratos continued flirting with each other, thrashing their tails playfully, and nudging one another.
The bull Tyrannosaurus nuzzles Rexy's face, to which the female does the same, letting out a snort of amusement.
"Kratos, what has gotten into you? Ever since we first met, you've gotten very playful and affectionate with me even though we are not uh, going to mention it just yet since neither of us are ready for it, for now. But even though we both made it quite obvious that we feel the same way with one another."
Rexy continued on.
"I know you liked me since your first time here on my home. For some, familiar reason, we later started flirting with each other whenever we spar. And you seem to be sleeping a lot better whenever we cuddle with each other for the night."
The bull T-rex blushed with embarrassment.
"Well, uh, Rexy, when it's just the two of us, what can I say? We're mostly affectionate and flirty with each other when it is just the two of us around, but calm and collected, as animals acting on instinct. Doing what they do best." Kratos replied nervously.
Rexy laughed with amusement and humor. "Uh huh. Says the one who was bold enough to kiss me out of the blue. Even if I feel the same way with you."
She added again. "I find it cute when you blush, Kratos. Maybe we will end up together and have a family someday."
They continued to carry on.
"Who knows? Maybe you could be the one to kiss me first some time." Kratos replied, then winks at Rexy, who winks back.
"We'll see, we'll see." She chuckled.
"Back on my home, the other meat eaters never dared to mess with me after I took out Zeus and Hades. But while I was starting to enjoy my kill, those hairy legged creatures tranquilized me and brought me here. Ever since then, I have held a grudge against them for that. I'm more used to my solitude and independence. So, I guess you can say that spending time with you has helped me open up and move on from my past. Even though I still miss Isla Muerta." The male replied calmly.
"Oh, I see. There is still something that I cannot understand. How can you still see them even when they're standing still when I can only see things that move?" Rexy asked curiously.
"Perhaps you might be the only one, of our kind, to have this kind of issue, but at least you don't have any problems using your other senses, Rexy. Speaking of which, I need to hunt. You can tag along if you want." Kratos answered.
"I don't know, Kratos, but I must chase off those rodents out of my territory before I can even think about joining you for a hunt tonight."
"Hopefully, erm, you'll find your way back home again. Which I must confess is highly unlikely considering that this island is very far away from where you came from" Rexy replied, as Kratos went on his way to make a kill in hopes of making up for being unable to finish his meal back on Muerta, where he calls it home.
Despite the female Tyrannosaurus Rex trying to resist having some sort of feelings for the albino bull Tyrannosaurus, she pushed on, going back to where the car was knocked over, letting out a loud roar, which was heard by two nearby humans in yellow raincoats.
Muldoon and Sattler were searching for any survivors of the attack from the resident Tyrannosaurus and her albino companion, noted grimly that with the power shut off, the two adult T-rexes can wander in and out of any paddock they wanted to when it came to finding prey. They didn't find anything except for some of Gennaro's body parts with a grim picture in their minds of what might have happened a few hours ago when it was pouring rain.
"I think this was Gennaro's." Muldoon said grimly. "I think this was too." Sattler replied.
They perked their heads up to hear a loud roar from the T-rex from the distance, fortunately, they found an injured Ian Malcom, who was flung over by the two adult Tyrannosaurs a few hours ago.
"Remind me to thank John for a lovely weekend." Then another loud roar was heard, but this time, the roar was even closer, and terrifying as the ground began to shake.
As the footsteps collided with the earth, a worn Malcom looks down at a T-rex footprint after the first impact tremor of the thumping noise which was followed by another thump, then another, and another.
"Anybody hear that? It's a um, (loud thump) it's an impact tremor, is what it is. I'm fairly alarmed here"
Muldoon and Sattler came running out of the jungle as Malcom was motioning for them to get back into the jeep and drive away quickly, just as the female Tyrannosaurus bursts out of the trees, bellowing at its supposed prey and chasing after them.
"Must go faster!" Malcom called out, before turning his attention back towards the angry T-rex, who was getting closer and closer to the fleeing jeep with every step, growling in irritation.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" Yelled a terrified Dr. Sattler as Muldoon did his best to drive as quickly as he can, with the Tyrannosaurus getting even closer, roaring loudly, as Malcom inched away towards the driving stick of the Jeep.
"Get off the stick! Bloody move!"
Muldoon yelled, before Sattler turns around, warning everyone to watch out as they ducked under a tree, with the Tyrannosaurus bashing right through it, but they eventually got away as Rexy gave up, letting them escape while letting out an irritated yet satisfied roar.
Not far away, Dr. Grant, Lex, Dante and Tim went to take shelter on a tree, while Alan noted that eventually if he weren't able to dig up fossils anymore, he would have to evolve as well, while in the distance, a herd of Brachiosaurus were singing and munching on the plants and leaves.
Dante felt quite relaxed by the sound of the sauropods singing. It reminded him of some audio files of whale song that he had on his LG Leon smartphone. He loved any kind of nature sounds, including the sound of singing whales.
"Dante?" Asked a sleepy Lex.
"Yes? What is wrong? Dante replied.
"Do you want to um, maybe, when this is over,- -" before she could say a thing, as it was currently nighttime, Dante cut Lex off. "It's late Lex. You should sleep. We can talk about it tomorrow when it is morning." he replied sleepily.
As Dr. Grant's raptor claw fossil is dropped to the ground, Lex rested next to Dante, as he wrapped his arms around her protectively, she secretly blushed when she was snoozing next to him.
Grant woke up and caught a glance at his nephew sleeping soundly with Lex and smiled to himself. He was proud of Dante finding someone who makes him happy. 'Children.' he muttered under his breath before falling back to sleep.
Following that, Rexy searched for more humans while Kratos was off on a hunt somewhere else in the park. He needed to make a kill soon since he needs more meat to regain full body mass.
The albino male Tyrannosaurus had lost about 10% of his body mass during his time on Isla Nublar, and that was one of the reasons why he was so desperate to break out the paddock earlier; it was because there was one thing that Rexy did get right while they spent time together, he was indeed starving.
