Montana Badlands/Jurassic Park

<1991-1992>

A team of paleontologists were on an exhibition in South Dakota where they discovered the complete remains of an unusually large Tyrannosaurus Rex who was named Sue, after Pete Larson's girlfriend Susan Hendrickson.

This discovery was under fire as many wanted and demanded to have the skeleton transferred to a museum under a bid that was taking place. Luckily, the skeleton was won under a bid of 7,600,000 dollars and was transferred to the main hall of the Field Museum.

However, Sue's original skull was too big and too heavy to fit on its own skeleton. So a cast replica of the skull was created as a substitute while the original skull was displayed separately.

On a remote island, just outside of the Archipelagos Muertes islands, an amusement park was under construction. Most of it was complete while some other parts were still being built. One of the completed areas was the Tyrannosaur Paddock where the island's only T-rex was patrolling her enclosure.

Her unofficial name was Rexy. All she's ever known was entertaining people and children, alongside of patrolling her enclosure. She left scent marks on the bushes closest to the fence to mark her territory.

The intercom announced that a third island with dinosaurs has been discovered. It was ruled by another Tyrannosaurus who was unchallenged by anyone much like Rexy herself. What was even more surprising was that this particular Tyrannosaurus was an albino which were extremely rare in any species of dinosaur. This sparked a fire of curiosity in Rexy. She wanted to know more about the Tyrannosaurus who ruled the island that was neither Isla Sorna nor her own.

<January 1993>

Three to four months before the Isla Nublar incident, Kratos was still tracking down Zeus. The Spinosaurus killed what was left of his family with the aid of his younger sibling, Hades. Kratos managed to kill Hades, but Zeus managed to limp away with life threatening injuries. Kratos didn't go far when he saw Zeus trying to catch some fish.

The albino Tyrannosaurus glared at the injured Spinosaurus and prepared to attack. While Zeus was standing in the river with his mouth in the water, Kratos came charging out of the brush and clamped his mighty jaws around the Spinosaur's neck. Because of his injuries, Zeus was too weak to fight, so Kratos crushed his spinal cord and throws him onto the riverbank. Zeus looks up at the angry Tyrannosaurus that was coming to finish him off.

Before Zeus could say anything, Kratos bit down on his chest and brutally ripped his heart out. The angry T-rex devoured the Spinosaur's heart while Zeus died instantly. Kratos grabbed the dead body of Zeus and dragged it back to his own territory to avoid a potential fight.

After carrying his kill back to his own territory, Kratos let out a loud roar in his victory and warning other dinosaurs not to mess with him. He also used the dead body of Hades as a warning for any dinosaurs who dared to venture into his territory. Some miles away, a mated pair of Tyrannosaurs heard the sound of Kratos roaring.

The Buck was familiar with Kratos, as they ran into each other once before and the albino drove the Buck out of his territory which explains the scars on the Buck's skin as Kratos proved to be too quick and strong for him. Although she never crossed paths with the albino Tyrannosaurus who was the new king of Isla Muerta, the Doe knew enough to stay away from him. For she had witnessed Kratos killing Hades and that gave her plenty of reason to leave the albino Tyrannosaurus alone.

<March 1993>

Two months have passed since Zeus was last seen. Kratos has been patrolling his territory and currently remained unchallenged. Thanks to the display of the skeletons belonging to Hades and Zeus, every other dinosaur on Isla Muerta knew better than to go anywhere near Kratos' home. Some other dinosaurs even witnessed him killing the tyrant Spinosaurs that used to rule the island. And upon seeing the anger in his eyes, they knew that it would be unwise to challenge Kratos.

Even the Trikes were scared enough to avoid the albino Tyrannosaurus. If he could take down a Spinosaurus, then Kratos would have no trouble bringing down a Triceratops. Unfortunately for the Trikes, their assumptions were correct. Whenever Kratos hunted Triceratops, he always managed to bring down his prey without being injured for he was fast enough to avoid the Trike's horns and bite down on the neck before the herbivore could raise its head up to protect its vulnerable neck. Plus, Kratos was strong enough to knock a Trike onto its side before clamping his jaws around the throat which he always rips out.

Even though he only killed other dinosaurs to feed himself and ensure his own survival, Kratos never showed mercy to those he killed. A pair of Ceratosaurus ventured into his territory on a desperate quest for food. But they had no idea that they wandered into the territory of Isla Muerta's most dangerous resident who rules over the entire island. The female hid in a dense grove of trees while the male chased some Edmontosaurus down a game trail.

But while the female Ceratosaurus was waiting in ambush, she didn't know that she herself was being preyed upon. Kratos had been watching the pair, and he was furious to see the intruders on his turf. He managed to sneak upon the female without alerting his quarry.

By the time the female Ceratosaurus noticed the danger, it was already too late. Kratos lunged forward and grabs her neck in his mouth. The mad Tyrannosaurus crushes the Ceratosaur's spinal cord and throat at the same time since he's a lot bigger. And now the female Ceratosaurus lies in a pool of blood while Kratos went off to take care of her mate.

The male Ceratosaurus notices that the female hasn't come out of hiding. While trying to assess the situation, he hears the sound of Kratos bellowing at him. The Ceratosaurus looks around, trying to locate the angry T-rex. He sees some movement and Kratos comes out from behind a tree, roaring at him.

The Ceratosaurus quickly realizes that Kratos killed his mate and it would be best for the male to flee because he knows that he doesn't stand a chance against the larger predator. The Ceratosaurus tries to run away and leave the T-rex's territory, but Kratos ran after him in hot pursuit. His longer stride allowed Kratos to gain upon his target with little effort. Before the Ceratosaurus can try to defend himself, Kratos grabs him by the shoulders and shakes him like a ragdoll.

Unleashing his well-known rage upon his prey, Kratos throws the Ceratosaurus into a tree which breaks the ribcage and ruptures internal organs. The Ceratosaurus slumps to the ground and the T-rex towers over its prey. Kratos grabs the male Ceratosaurus by the neck and rips his head clean off without mercy. But instead of eating the severed head, Kratos drops it by the corpse to make an example of him. Kratos lets out a loud roar as he retains his crown as the king of Isla Muerta.

What Kratos doesn't know is that some humans are watching him. They saw what he did to the Ceratosaurs and knew that he would be great to put on display at Jurassic Park. And just as well, if he were to calm down and open up, he might be a suitable companion for Rexy who has been strangely depressed lately. The only possible reason that they could think of is that Rexy may very well be quite lonely and wanted some company.

A scientist who studies Rexy's behavior asked the female Tyrannosaurus if she was lonely in her enclosure, and much to everyone's surprise and shock, Rexy nodded which confirmed their suspicions. They knew that Rexy heard about Kratos and wanted to know more about him. So they decided that they would capture the albino Tyrannosaurus and bring him to Rexy's enclosure.
