Prologue: Into The Future

Two masked people, clad in knight's armor dragged the Rabbit Heroine into the castle that was once the eiffel tower. Bunnix tried to struggle against their hold but the knights held firm. She wasn't going to get out of this. She was too beaten and bruised to even escape through a burrow. Too weak. How did this happen... She thought, remembering the terrible sight of the destroyed city outside, only patrolled by knights, no one else in sight. How did the main timeline end up like this...? What went wrong...? Where did I fail...? She thought to herself in despair. The knights brought her into the throne room, her head hung low. What Akuma could possible be this powerful? Where's Minibug and Kitty Noir? This isn't too far in the future...this is way before Ladybug puts me in charge of the timelines...what happened to screw everything up so badly? Bunnix thought, not even daring to look at the monster that destroyed Paris and possibly killed the two heroes of the city. "Kneel before the King and Queen." One of the knights said, kneeling. The other follows suit, forcing Bunnix to as well. Is this really the main timeline...? Is this like the Cat Blanc incident all over again? If so does that mean everything will work out fine in the end? What happened why are all the timelines screwed up!? Bunnix's thoughts were interrupted by a soft purr. "My Queen, it appears our knights have brought us a treat." A familiar male voice said.

No... Bunnix thought. No no no it can't be. Please tell me it's not them. It CAN'T be them. She thought. A female voice chuckled. "Rise my knights. Let us see what you've brought for us." Bunnix felt like crying as she heard that voice. The knights forced her to rise and lift her head up. There she saw them. Marinette and Adrien. But they weren't...Marinette and Adrien anymore.

Adrien looked imposing and imperial. The outfit he wore as Cat Blanc now a white themed dress shirt, dress pants, and even boots. But over that he wore a few pieces of silver armor. The chest plate was large and up front but Bunnix noticed a few pieces of armor on his shoulders and legs. Along with two silver bracers that came from his wrist up to his elbow, still leaving his gloves and claws visible. He wasn't wearing his mask, but one of his eyes was cyan, the other green. The cyan eye had what looked to be a scar over it. He also had this red cape dressed over his shoulders, that looked like if anything it would hinder his mobility. It looked bulky, a golden chain keeping it around his neck with what looked like leopard's fur lining the collar of the cape. On his head sat a crown. A black crown with a single red gem. There were three points on the front of the crown, two smaller and one larger. The single red gem rested in the center of the largest point.

Marinette had a black dress with red spots, a few pieces of armor on her too, including a chest plate, clearly visible shoulder plating, but that was it. Bunnix assumed she had armor on her legs too and maybe some clipped to her under the sleeves of the dress. She also wore long elegant black silk gloves that ran up to her elbows. The sleeves of the dress covering the rest of her arm. She wore a cape as well but it was much thinner than Cat Noir's, looking a bit more fashionable. It was black as the void like her gloves and dress. She was also decked out with multiple pieces of jewelry. There was a black silk choker around her neck with a few strands of pearls hanging there too. She wore a few bracelets that clipped around her wrist securly instead of hanging loosely. She still had her miraculous it appeared. And a few rings adorned her fingers as well. Most notable was one silver ring with a blood diamond in it on her left ring finger. It looked like a wedding ring. When she looked back at Adrien she noticed not only his miraculous, but a silver wedding band around his ring finger too. Looking back at Marinette she saw the crown on her head was just like Adrien's, just a bit smaller. Marinette's eyes were similar to Adrien's. On the right her eye was the same color it always was, but the left eye was cyan with an odd glowing scar over it.

Bunnix gulped a little. She was doomed and she knew it. Marinette slowly rose to her feet and walked over. Bunnix heard the click of high heeled boots. Once Marinette reached Bunnix she smirked at the Rabbit Heroine. "You must feel so utterly pathetic and useless right now." Marinette said, her voice still carrying that sweet tone it normally did, but there was a much darker and sinister undertone to her voice. "If I'm remembering correctly, this-" She indicated herself and Adrien. "Is currently becoming another timeline steaming from the original. Because in the future, I make you Bunnix. Time travel is really confusing is it not?" Marinette asked. "But all that aside, we're not a completely different universe. We're just a timeline. And since we're a timeline very close to the original, what happens here dictates the future. Which is why I put you in charge of protecting and guarding the timelines. So that no matter what happened, no timeline steaming from the original will affect the future." She continued. "But, then something happened. Cat Blanc. Something I did wasn't the same from the original universe that you remember. In your timeline Bunnix, I failed to give Adrien that gift. But in my timeline, Rose wouldn't stand for it. Something was different. The future, no matter how hard you try, is not set in stone. So what happened, that equaled this future you wonder?" Marinette asked, with a small smirk. "Well I can't tell you that. In case you do manage to escape I can't let you know what happened in the past that equaled this. Otherwise you'll change it. Get things back to the way YOUR timeline was." She said before ripping away Bunnix's Miraculous. She shifted back into Alex, and Fluff appeared. The small Kwami was horrified by what she saw, frozen in terror. Marinette tossed the Miraculous to Adrien, still sitting on his throne, and he placed it in a box that sat between the two thrones on a table.

"Well I suppose I could tell you now. But I'm not going to." Marinette said. Adrien chuckled behind her. "You should've brought back up Bunnix. There are some things you just can't handle alone." Marinette said. "And to make sure that you don't interfere or escape to retrieve your Miraculous." Adrien purred before snapping his fingers. A knight brought in a struggling younger version of Alex. The Alex from this timeline. "The future is fickle. It can be changed and altered by even the smallest things. But since every timeline is affected by the main universe, I wonder what will happen to you if the young Alex of the main timeline has an...accident." Adrien said, looking to be thinking as his hand started glowing a bright cyan. "NO." Bunnix shouted, thrashing a bit more against the knights holding her. The young Alex looked terrified as Adrien rose to his feet. "With the Alex in the main timeline's past dead, there will be no more Bunnix." Marinette chuckled as Adrien walked closer and closer to the young girl. "And without Bunnix, nothing will stop our reign." Adrien said, sending a smirk to his queen. Marinette smirked back before grabbing the chin of Future Alex. "Forgive the cliche villain monologue. I won't keep you any longer." Marinette said as the Alex of the past let out a painful scream, a flash of cyan being a telltale of what happened. Slowly the future Alex cried, fading out of existence. "Goodbye Alex. You should've believed me instead of Lila." Marinette hissed.

Alex was nothing but a pile of dust now. And Bunnix no longer existed. Marinette felt two arms settle around her waist, pulling her into a small hug from behind. "My Queen~" Adrien purred. "My King." Marinette responded, turning slightly to kiss his cheek. The knights all let out chorused cheers.

"ALL HAIL KING BLANC AND QUEEN BUG."
