Chapter 67
Mordis Northern Border
Seeing her curl up after returning from the infirmary made him uneasy. Rudra slowly walks over to his bed to try and take a closer look but the clanking noise from his armor had startled her.
"General! You're back. I....I..I didn't even hear you come in."
Her weak voice laced with fear made him worry as well as angry.
"How many was it tonight?" Rudra asked in anger.
"Th...Three. Wh...why...is he doing this?" Bhavya's voice was cracking as she recalled how those women were bruised up from head to toe.
"Even when I asked them who did this they refuse to tell me! Why?! He's a monster! Why are they protecting them?!"
Her watery eyes looking up at him were filled with hope but he knew that there was nothing he could do for those women.
Bhavya wanted to cry so badly that she gripped onto Rudra's hand. "Please make him stop or at least have someone else treat those women. I....I..don't want to see those type of wounds anymore! Please General...please....please."
Bhavya was not a stupid girl. She knew very well that the Great General was doing this on purpose. It was obviously that he was angry ever since that night. It was like he was taunting her that one day these wounds would be inflicted upon her. The cries of those women echoed throughout the barracks for the past two nights has haunted her. And when she was called the next morning to the infirmary the nightmare just continued. Bruises between the women's legs as well as bite marks made her entire body shiver. But what shocked her most was the one thing that every women that she treated told her.
"The Great General wants you to know that since you didn't want to help him with his illness he had to seek out other alternatives for his treatment."
Rudra could feel Bhavya's entire body tremble as her hand was trying to hold his.
"I will make it stop. So just go to sleep."
Once he was sure that Bhavya had fallen asleep Rudra walked out of his tent. He has always known of his uncle's sadistic nature when it came to women but it has never been this bad. The women would at least be able to return to their home but this time it seems like his uncle was venting out his displeasure.
"I'm here to see the Great General."
The same soldier looked at Rudra and bowed before entering Abhimanyu's tent.
"Great General, General Rudra is here to see you."
Abhimanyu's lips curled up as he sat on his bed with his shirt half open. The young woman below him was no where near as beautiful as Bhavya but she still had that tender white skin that he loved.
"Tell him to wait out there for five more minutes."
The soldier dared to not lift up his eyes and quickly turned around to inform Rudra who had already heard everything. As he stood out there in the cold he tried his best to ignore the painful screams inside.
The dreadful 5 minutes finally ended.
"Come and bring her to the infirmary so she could be looked at in the morning." Abhimanyu called out to his soldier who came running inside.
Rudra's eyes darkened as he sees the young girl who was barely 18 being escorted towards the infirmary in this cold night. His nose could smell the stench of blood as they walked passed him.
"The Great General says he is ready to see you now."
As he was about to enter the tent Rudra turned around once more to look at the woman who did not even have any shoes on. Her foot tainted the white snow with a shade of red that made the blood inside of him boil.
"Pick her up and take her to the infirmary." Rudra commanded before he walked inside Abhimanyu's tent.
The moment he entered Rudra could already smell the aroma of when a man and a women becomes one. He tried his best to calm himself as he sees his uncle make a haphazard attempt to get dressed.
"So you wanted to see me? Oh...do let your maid know to check on that woman tomorrow morning." Abhimanyu chuckled as he laid on his side with his head resting on his right fist.
"She will be the last one." Rudra coldly exclaimed. Right away he notices his uncle's angry glare but the sadistic grin was still there.
"Oh? And how do you know?"
His nephew was a man of few words but whenever he spoke it was always to challenge him and tonight was no exception. However, to dare make this threat regarding his personal business was too much.
Rudra stood there like a snowy mountain that could not be moved. His expressionless face accompanied his unwavering eyes.
"I know because if it happens again I will send that nearby village somewhere far away. And you know that I am capable of doing so."
"Rudra!" Abhimanyu roared out as he stood up angrily.
"You dare make such a move just to defy me?!"
"Defy you? That is not the reason."
Abhimanyu scoffed as he realizes why his nephew was here.
"So....my dear nephew has become quite close with his new maid. Interesting. If you want me to stop then have her come and treat my illness."
Abhimanyu was happy to see his nephew clenching his fists and proceeded to walk around him.
"After seeing her I just can't seem to be satisfied no matter how hard I try."
Rudra felt the rage churning inside of him as his uncle enjoyed taunting him but he knew he had to keep his composure because there was no way he would give his uncle a reason to demote him. He had worked too hard to become a respectable General and there was no way in hell he would jeopardize everything now.
"I will repeat it just one more time. If it happens again I will make sure that the only nearby village to us be no more. If you need to find entertainment it is best to do it outside of the barracks."
"Rudra! You dare?!"
As he turned around to leave Rudra slightly turned his head to see his uncle looking at him scornfully. "I know I can't touch you but I can still take what you enjoy away."
Abhimanyu stood there gritting his teeth as Rudra left. "I can also take away what you enjoy Rudra."
When he returned he could hear Bhavya's rapid breathing as she slept. He continue to change into his night clothes when he notices her whimpering.
"She must be having a nightmare" Rudra thought to himself as he looks down at grimacing face. He wiped the tears away with his callous fingers only to cause her to wake up. Her eyes opened wide thinking it was Abhimanyu that was touching her.
"NO!" she screamed as she flung her hands up and when she felt someone grab both her wrists she wanted to scream even more.
Rudra didn't know what to do as Bhavya became hysterical. With one hand he pinned her arms above her head and with the other he placed his palm over her mouth.
"It's me."
Bhavya's eyes finally adjusted to the dark night and could see his face staring down closely at her.
"Ge..Gen..General?" With her quivering lips Bhavya stared to cry and when she felt his grip loosen she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I....I...was so scared."
She felt him patting the back of her head as he whispered softly "I have taken care of it. So try to sleep. Soon you will return to Lady Gauri's side."
He pried her grip away from his neck and set her back down on the pillow but her trembling body was still unable to calm itself.
When Bhavya felt his big strong arms hold her against his chest as the two now laid down together on the bed she seized to breathe.
"General...."
"Shhh....sleep."
With her heart racing Bhavya dug her head into his hard warm chest. Soon the calm beating of his heartbeat put her into a deep slumber. However, Rudra was still wide awake as he realize that this little maid has suddenly became his weakness. "It is best to return you as soon as possible."

Cassi
He could see that it was her as she stood out of her window. Even with that light purple veil over her face it still couldn't hide her golden brown eyes that were shimmering in the morning sunlight. But what he didn't know was why there were unknown guards standing atop of the roof top. Especially the one with the silver mask that was different from the others. Omkara could sense that this guard had great skill that even Ari was a bit wary of.
Petting the top of Ari's soft head Omkara continued to stare at his Gauri who was enjoying the warm rays of the sun.
"I guess I can wait just a little longer. Let's see what my Queen is up to."
When he saw her reach for a silver mask to put over her beautiful eyes Omkara slightly pouted until he noticed her looking straight at his direction.
"Does she see me?" Omkara laughed a little as he returned her gaze.
"So my Queen was waiting all along."
Her heart was beating so fast knowing he was so near. She had really missed him but she could only laugh knowing the reason why he didn't come to her right away. With her highly skilled guards watching over her it was sure to surprise him somewhat.
"Let's see how long you can wait." Gauri thought to herself before she heard a knock on her door.
"Princess. The Queen is waiting for you to join her for breakfast."
"I will be right there."
Before she left Gauri took one last look towards Omkara's direction and took down her veil.
Her smile only made him want to run to her but how could their reunion be disturb by so many? No. Tonight. He will surely not disappoint her. However, how can he let her have fun in Cassi all alone?
Omkara reached towards the back of his waist band and took out a black lion mask and put it over his face.
"I'm coming."
