"What would you have me do my Queen."

As the snow covered the land of Fray Kalyani closes her eyes letting the memories of her beloved daughter fill her mind.

"Jhanvi! Do you know what you are doing?!"

With tears running down her cheeks Jhanvi could no longer stay in Fray. She didn't want to be the future Queen of Fray and inherit such a lonely life. She wanted to be free and experience the beauty of life.

"I'm sorry mother but I love him."

**SMACK**

"How can you speak of love! You are the Crown Princess of Fray! The only heir to our kingdom! You can not marry an outsider! He knows of your power but he doesn't know that once you decide to marry an outsider I am not allowed to give you that pill. Do you think he will continue to love you?!"

Rubbing her cheek Jhanvi looks at her mother with the sheer confidence that Kali truly loved her.

"You are wrong mother! He loves me! I know it! He says that he will welcome me into Ashen with all the rights of a Queen!"

Raising her hand up about to slap her daughter once more Kalyani could not believe that Jhanvi would one day be deceived so easily. All these years of keeping her inside the safety net of Fray was proven futile. Jhanvi could see her mother's palm shake in midair as the look of utter disappointment as well as pain filled her eyes. Thinking that her mother was going to slap her again Jhanvi shuts her eyes tightly to brace for impact but as she waited she could only hear her mother sigh.

Seeing her daughter on her knees begging for a man that was not worthy Kalyani knew that life ahead for Jhanvi would not be blissful. As she closes her eyes in defeat Kalyani gently strokes her daughter's head.

"Jhanvi. Do you know what you are giving up? Do you realize? Power so great that only our bloodline can obtain will once again sleep in that mountain."

"I don't want to swallow that pill. Not being able to love? What kind of life is that? You should know mother. Do you regret loving father?"

Kalyani's painful laughter rocked the hall of Fray's Palace.

"Father? So you want to follow in my footsteps?! Your so called father took my love and my heart and what did I get in return?! Betrayal! When he found out that once I married him I could no longer take the pill to inherit the power he abandoned me! It didn't matter how much I pleaded! Even when he knew I was carrying his child he still left me!"

"Kali is not the same mother! He loves me...and he knows I'm....."

Kalyani opens her eyes to stare at her daughter who was unable to look at her.

"Knows what?!"

"I'm....I'm...pregnant."

Seeing her mother stumbling to stand still Jhanvi knew her mother was truly hurt.

"Mother..."

Kalyani felt like her past deeds were now coming back to haunt her. Was it because she had made her very own mother fall ill when she herself fell for a bad man? And now it was her turn to experience it?

"Promise me one thing Jhanvi. If you by chance have a daughter you must not reveal the secrets of Fray to her. Only the Princess of Fray has that right and since you have decided to be Queen of Ashen all your offspring will be people of Ashen."

"I promise."

Now with wrinkles on her face and hair white as snow Kalyani remembers the dreadful day that her daughter's casket arrived at Fray's gate.

"Jhanvi......"

Knowing that her daughter had died with only sadness in her heart Kalyani looks at her most trusted and strong royal guard.

"Bring her to me Arjun. At any cost. He has been asleep for too long. I know Ashen will soon try to come claim Fray. We need Gauri to wake him up."

"Yes my Queen."

Ashen

Waking up to a morning so bright and air so fresh Svetlana couldn't help but smile from ear to ear as she sits in front of her mirror.

"I hope that girl is either dead or near death."

Unable to contain her laughter as she looks down at her hands and when she saw the salt stuck beneath her fingernails she laughed even louder.

"HaaaHaaaaHaa...I can still feel her smooth skin being clawed by me..how I wish to be able to do that everyday."

The thought of getting to wake up and see Gauri's beaten body made Svetlana beam with happiness. Letting the maids comb her hair and pick out her favorite red dress with golden embroidery Svetlana was eager to find the girl that ruined her daughters.

Svetlana was not the only one who woke up happily this morning. Touching the scar on her cheek Riddhima was still filled with hate but the sound of Gauri yelling out in pain last night made her smile just like her mother. She woke up early this morning to be able to see with her very own eyes just how much pain Gauri had endured.

"You deserved it Gauri! Losing your crown is not enough for me! I want you to suffer! I want scars to fill your entire face and body! I want you to beg for death rather than living as a monster! Now that you are no longer a Princess I will make your life hell! No! Worse then hell!"

Trying to get dressed as quick as she could Riddhima was also eager to look for Gauri on this beautiful morning but as she made her way towards the Gauri's Courtyard she could see her mother's angry face.

"Mother? What's wrong?"

Seeing her mother's frowning eyebrows and clenched jaw made Riddhima feel scared.

"That wretched girl is nowhere to be seen! Not even her body is within the palace!"

"What? Where could she be?"

Clenching her fists as she quickly walked towards Kali's private study hoping that maybe he had dispose of his daughter's body late at night while everyone was asleep.

"I will ask the King. I am sure with such injuries she can not be far away! That girl can run but she cannot hide! As long as her brother is here she would never leave!"

"What if he himself doesn't know where she is?!"

Svetlana could see that her daughter wanted to see Gauri's beaten body because even she was looking forward to it.

"Even if he doesn't know my new group of shadow guards sent by your father will be able to. Besides we still have her beloved brother in our hands!"

Mordis

"I can do it myself."

Ignoring her words Omkara continued to dry her hair with a towel.

"Do you not have maids? You are the King of Mordis."

His lips curved up revealing a cynical grin.

"I had a servant once unfortunately his greed caught the eye of my enemies."

Gauri could guess that he must have been betrayed on the night that he caught her in the forest.

"Well now that you are cured you shouldn't be afraid of having maids or servants. Even if they betray you it wouldn't be easy for your enemies to harm you."

Throwing the towel to the side Omkara leans down towards Gauri's ear.

"I only need one woman to cater to my needs."

He could see her cheeks turn pink as she looked the other way.

Reaching out his hand to help Gauri stand up from the chair "Come."

"Where to?"

"To meet my sister."

Omkara could see Gauri's posture stiffen and her brows furrow.

"Do you think it is a good idea? I am the one who took her hostage. I should be the last person she wants to see this morning."

"I want her to meet you."

His grip on her hand was tight and his eyes were filled with warmth but Gauri knew that things will not go according to his liking.

"Very well then."

When Priyanka woke up this morning her entire night gown was soaked with sweat.

"It seems that my nightmares are coming back."

As she gets out of bed Priyanka's hands and feet were still shaking uncontrollably that she had to call a maid to help her wash up.

"Do not let the King know. I do not want him to worry."

As the maid obediently nod her head Priyanka stretched out her hand to let the little maid help her to the bathroom. When she was helped into the water basin that was filled with warm water Priyanka let her body submerged down and just letting the warmth calm her. And as she closes her eyes she could see the face from yesterday. The face that made her nightmares return. The face that took a knife to her throat.

"Why her? Why does it have to be her? Brother....she's not right for you..."
