🌌
Two years or so ago, I went to a Girlscout camp with my first troop- it was a Night expedition kinda thing, and we learned about stars and space.
While I was there, I learned a few things that I found fascinating.
1) Shooting stars are just dirt burning up in the atmosphere, so when you wish upon a star... You're really wishing upon dirt.
2) If you pointed a laser at the moon, the laser will show up on its surface a REALLY long time later. One day, I kinda wanna live to see a bunch of random red dots on the moon and see everyone think it's Armageddon. But no, the lasers just finally caught up with it from the probably thousands of times people have shined lasers at the moon.
3) Even if a star dies out, you can still see it in the sky for a couple of thousand years, if I remember right.
Sometimes, I think if you put some of these into a metaphorical presence...
It's a nice message.
1) People can rely on those who are deemed dirt. And "dirt" can be taken two ways or more.
2) Though it may take a while, you can always catch up.
3) Even when they're gone, they're still there.
Or, at least, that's my point a view.
Crazy how I only thought about all of this after figuring out how to draw stars neatly, haha.
Have a nice day and/or night.
