37 : Eunwoo & Taehyung
TAEHYUNG'S POV
I tried to keep myself busy for days so I will not think of Sana and Jungkook anymore. They are pretty much the reason why am I distracted of school works and other things. I still can't forget her face when I last saw her outside the church. I wasn't expecting her, tho. I guess life is full of surprises.
I heard my phone ring and when I saw who was the caller I.D., I answered it because granddad is calling me.
"Good afternoon, halapeoji." I greeted him and stopped typing for a while. I leaned back on my swivel chair as I stretched my arms and body.
"Taehyung-ah," he said. "Can you come here at my office for a while?" He asked. My eyebrows creased when he said his request.
"Do you mind if I ask why, halapeoji?" I asked back, curious of why would he invite me over.
"We need to talk." Just by how serious his tone is, makes my back shiver. I know that his invitation is utterly important. He wouldn't be this serious if it's not, anyway.
I gulped, "Yes, halapeoji."
"And bring your sister, too." With those words, he ended his call. I stared at my phone for a few seconds, wondering why is he asking for Dahyun, too. I thought that, maybe, it has something to do with the arrangement.
Sighing, I entered to my walk-in closet and changed my clothes. Granddad wants us to go to his office in a formal attire, so I had to change before going to him.
I wore my coat and looked myself at the mirror for a few seconds. I noticed that my eyes are still a bit puffy--probably because of how many nights I cried. I cried alot and I don't want that to happen again, so even though it still pains me to remember Sana, I try my best to be okay.
So I wore eyeglasses to atleast, hide the puffiness of my eyes. It will also make me look more professional in front of granddad which is kind of a good thing.
I brought everything I need on my way to granddad's office before going downstairs. I almost forgot about Dahyun, so I decided to go to her room and look for something formal to wear.
I suddenly remembered Sana, again. Back then, whenever we go shopping, I pick out dresses for her and I would pay for it though she hates it when I do those kind of things.
I shook my head sideways slightly and tried to go back to reality. After picking out a dress for my sister, I just grabbed a pair of heels for her and went downstairs.
Namjoon noticed me and his eyebrows crossed immediately, "Are you going to granddad?" I nodded to his question and asked him why is he not busy. "I have no class for today. Wait, is that for Dahyun?" I nodded once more and saw him roll his eyes. "Why didn't I receive a call?"
"What do you mean? Where's Jin?" I asked him.
"Granddad also called for his presence. I think he's going to be arranged, as well." Arrangement, ugh. I bid my good bye to him and told our family driver to fetch Dahyun. I'm pretty much aware that her classes are not yet finished, but granddad won't care if she'll miss her lessons. Granddad looks at us as if we're money-making creatures. Everything has always been business for him, but I must admit that he still treated us as his grandchildren.
Arrangement. I was arranged once, but I said no because I'm in a relationship with Sana before. I said no to every lady that dad and granddad introduced to me. I promised Sana that I won't marry anyone besides her, but I guess that promise will be broken anyway. I don't have her anymore because she was sick of me.
So when I was asked before who do I want Dahyun to marry, I chose either Hansol or Eunwoo because Jimin is in a relationship. I don't want him to marry Dahyun because he was forced to. I've been in his situation before, but I guess granddad became too strict. The drugs part of Jimin is also a reason, tho. But if Dahyun wants him, then I'm not against it. It doesn't matter to me if Dahyun would marry a criminal, anyway. If it's for love, then I would let her.
After a little while, we arrived to the university. As the brother of the owner of the school, I have all the rights to barge in to their classrooms whenever I like, so I did.
Without knocking, I opened the door and said, "Kim Dahyun has to leave because of an important reason." I looked around, but Dahyun isn't there. I saw Eunwoo and our gazes met instantly. "May I please excuse Cha Eunwoo for a while?" I asked and he looked stunned after hearing his name. Their instructor nodded and I gestured Eunwoo to go out.
He went out of his classroom after two seconds and asked, "Why, hyung?"
"Where is Dahyun?" His eyebrows creased.
"I thought she was home." He scratched his nape and looked at me shyly. "Why are you excusing her?"
"My granddad requests for her presence and no, she's not home." I said. Is Dahyun ditching classes now? His eyebrows creased again when he saw someone from my back, so I tilted my head and saw Dahyun. She looks like she's not in the mood because she's wearing a pokerface. When our gazes met, her face changed.
"W-Why are you here, oppa?" She asked and I noticed that her cheeks reddened.
"Granddad wants us to go to his office." I said and handed her a paperbag where I put her dress and heels in. "Change up." She had no choice but to take it and go to the changing room.
"I wonder why Mina is absent." I heard Eunwoo whisper and my head automatically faced his direction.
"Who's Mina?" I asked.
He looked shocked, but eventually recovered. He smiled shyly again as he scratches his nape, "A-Ah...a classmate, hyung." I just nodded and when Dahyun came back, I told Eunwoo to go back to his classes. He nodded and me and my sister headed towards the car.
The driver opened the car's door for us and we both hopped in. I noticed that she's not smiling at all, so out of curiousness and worriment, I asked her:
"What's with the straight face, Dahyunie?" That was the first time I called her that and it feels kind of weird. "Tell me what happened." Sighing, she told me what happened throughout her whole week. Her story is long; long enough to make me less bored before arriving to our destination.
I think the bottomline of her story is that she's jealous of how Jimin treats Mina and Jimin is too narrow-minded when he saw the picture that she was talking abouy. I think it's the same Mina that Eunwoo mentioned earlier. Oh, well.
"We've arrived." Our driver said and hopped off. He opened the car's door for us and we both hopped in.
Once we stepped in our foot on the entrance of the building, six bodyguards of granddad, I think, led us to the main conference room.
"Oppa, why am I needed in this meeting?" Dahyun asked while we're inside the elevator.
"Arrangement." I answered. "I think Jin will be marrying someone, too. He's arranged as well."
"Eh?" I chuckled because of her reaction. "You're the eldest, right, oppa? Why aren't you marrying someone?" She asked.
"I turned the ladies down and said that I will become a delinquent if they'll force me to marry someone." She giggled after hearing my story. Well, it's all true. It wasn't a lie. "They had no choice but to give me what I wanted." I smiled at her and we both headed to the main conference room.
The bodyguard said something through his walkie talkie and after hearing the peron's response from the other line, two bodyguards opened the doors for us.
I immediately saw granddad sitting on the middle while Jin is beside him. He has this smiling face as he's staring at someone. On the other side of granddad is a family of three sitting.
"Mina?" I heard Dahyun whisper and if I were to describe of how she reacted, she looked stunned.
"Dahyun?" The room is really silent as soon as we stepped in, but we still heard Mina's soft and calm voice.
