DAHYUN'S POV

FLASHBACK

I was stunned to see Jimin's eyes open. "O-Omo..." I said in disbelief. Jimin is awake! He observed his surroundings first and then he saw me. His eyebrows crossed right away.

"Why are you here instead of Mina?" He asked, almost a whisper. I was hurt when he threw me such a question in a very insensitive way.

"Your mom asked me to." I answered and then woke up Eunwoo. He was expressionless when he saw Jimin wake up. "I will tell this to your mom right away." I said. I am really thankful that God heard my prayers. He cured Jimin and I will always thank Him for the good things He had done for me.

I fished my phone and called Jimin's mom. I told her the good news and she said that she'll be here right away.

"How are you feeling?" I asked smilingly, but he didn't bother on answering my question. "Your family and Mina will be happy when they see you." But again, he didn't reply. He just looked away from my direction and stayed silent.

I kept on smiling. It really made me happy that he woke up. It's a miracle. I mean, it's been three days when he got admitted to this hospital. It was a rough three-day experience for me, tho. I had fights with Mina, but it's alright for me. I have proven her my point and I know that I am right.

"I don't want to see your face." Jimin whispered, but I heard it. He hates you. I told myself. "Get out."

"Can't you just be thankful that Dahyun took you here?" I was shocked to hear Eunwoo say such a thing. He is not really that rude, but he sounded like one.

"Calm down. It's alright." I assured him, but he just clenched his jaw. Jimin's face remained expressionless.

I stared at Jimin when Eunwoo called me. I asked him why, but I noticed Mina staring at me from outside the window.

END OF FLASHBACK

Eunwoo didn't start the engine right after we entered the car. He sighed and hit the steering wheel.

"What's happening?" I asked him, holding his arm. He rubbed his hands against his face in frustration. He even messed his hair up while groaning. "Eunwoo, answer me." I added, worried because of how he's acting.

"How can you handle that couple?!" He then faced me with an angry and upset face. I gulped and I feared him all of the sudden. "They are hurting you physically and emotionally, Dahyun! Stop being dumb!" This is the first time that he told me something like that. He calmed himself down for a second, "Don't let yourself get hurt."

"..." I was surprised when he cupped my face. I'm still scared of how furious he is a while ago. "W-What are you doing?" I asked him.

He looked away, but he faced me again and gazed on my eyes deeply. But although I can see how sincere he looked at me, I can't feel anything special towards him.  "I like you, Dahyun. Not as a friend, but as something more." What? I was stunned to hear him say those words. He likes me? It's impossible. He shouldn't like me as something more. I'm wishing that he will take back those words, but he didn't. "Let's date."

"W-What?"

"For real. Let's date each other for real. Not because of business." Is he proposing a deal? "If you'll fall for me, let's get married, but if I'll fall for you even harder, we can stay as friends."

"What?" I asked in disbelief. "Are you insane?" He took his hands off. "We have barely three weeks left--"

"You'll lose nothing." He cut me. He continued on convincing me. I honestly don't want to hurt a friend if he'll fall for me even harder.

I thought harder for the decision that I am making. I want to reject his offer, but I don't want to slap him with the truth that he has no chance to be with me. But if I agree with his deal and I'll not fall, he'll get hurt. It feels like I just made him wait and hope.

"Let me think about it."

Even though we already reached my house, I'm still thinking of it. I should be wise enough before deciding.

"Thank you." I smiled at him and he smiled back. I closed the car's door and entered the house. My brothers embraced me as soon as I got home. They looked extremely worried, except for Tae oppa, of course.

"Where have you been?!" Jin oppa asked and cupped my face. I half-smiled.

"I visited Jimin."

"We know that, but you stayed with him for too long!" I know that Jin oppa is a bit upset because I didn't bother telling them that I stayed with Jimin a little bit longer than they expected.

"Don't worry. I'm okay. I'm with Eunwoo the whole day." Their worries lessened when they heard my statement. Whenever they hear Eunwoo's name, they know that I'm in good hands. They put their trusts on him already.

"Look at those dark circles," Joon oppa lifted my chin up to see my growing eyebags. "Go to sleep. We know that you're tired."

I smiled shyly, "I'm alright--"

"Don't go to school tomorrow." Jin oppa told me and I just nodded, so the conversation will end already. I greeted them good night and was about to go upstairs, but Tae oppa said something.

"We will talk tomorrow." And it made my back shiver. I had goosebumps and I became scared after hearing it.

"O-Okay," I answered and went upstairs. My legs went jelly after entering my room. I threw myself to bed and stared at the ceiling.

Tae oppa said that we'll talk tomorrow. I am certain that he wants to talk about Jimin. Maybe he's right. They're right. I'll get into trouble and danger if I keep on staying beside Jimin.

About Eunwoo's proposal, I don't think I will be able to do it. I don't want my best friend to be hurt because of me.

But if I agree to his deal, he will be able to help me to stay away from Jimin. From danger. He will take care of me, just like what he always does.

Maybe I should give him a chance. I will not lose anything anyway and he promised me that. I wish he will be able to keep it.

I sighed and took my phone. I opened it and looked at Eunwoo's caller ID, thinking if I should call him or not. If I should tell him that I will accept his proposal. I'm still unsure if I should tell him. I have so many what-ifs.

MINA'S POV

Earlier...

After Dahyun and Eunwoo left, I was petrified. I tried sinking into my head what happened a while ago and I felt guilty when I slapped Dahyun. Maybe I became too harsh on her. Maybe I became too mad at her and I didn't bother on hearing her side.

I shrugged off the bad vibes and entered Jimin's room. I saw his genuine smile as soon as I entered. I smiled and sat beside him. He took my hands and interlocked it with his.

"How are you, baby?" I asked him while carressing his hair. He then placed my hand on his warm cheek.

"I have never been better." He grinned wider and then none of us talked. "I missed you..." I heard him whisper and it made me smile automatically.

"Me, too." I nodded. "After your recovery, we'll have dates, okay?"

"After my recovery, I want to see the two of us married already." I chuckled and pinched his cheek. "I love you, baby."

"I love you, too."
