– Theresa cuts Steve's hair; she's the only one he allows to even come close to it with scissors.

– When Steve goes up to Notre Dame on the weekends to visit Theresa (between seasons 3 & 4), he brings her a bouquet of flowers every single week without fail. Tess calls him cheesy but she loves them, and he knows it.

– She loves horror movies, and Steve hates them with a passion. They watched 'The Exorcist' together one night and Steve did not sleep at all.

– Steve loves to braid Theresa's hair. Even though he may suck at it, he's learning and Tess has taught him how to do it. He claims that he's practicing for their kids one day.

– Despite Steve's parents being kind of disappointed in him, they still love Tess. So much so that during the summer, she'll stay over all day at the Harringtons'. She and Steve will hang around the pool for as long as they can, Steve sometimes falling asleep on Tess while she reads.

– Some nights, either Steve or Theresa will wake up from a nightmare. Sometimes they both have them, so they'll get up and drive around to talk, listen to music and clear their heads.

– When Steve is at Theresa's apartment, he can easily distract her. When she's supposed to be studying or trying to clean up, he puts a record on the stereo and makes her dance with him.

– Theresa is a terrible cook. But Steve, who learned how to cook from a very young age since his parents were almost never home, is great at it.

– They make sure the other NEVER feels alone. If there's a night where one of them can't sleep and they're not with each other, they'll call and talk on the phone until they fall asleep.

– Theresa is Robin's first kiss <3 It's funny but Robin also really appreciates it, because she loves Tess in a platonic way and it gave her a lot of confidence when Theresa did it. They were at the Family Video store with Steve, and Robin is complaining about how she has yet to even kiss a girl and doesn't know how to flirt. So Tess, who's tired of her complaining, approaches Robin, grabs her face, and kisses her. Steve is just standing there, speechless, while Robin is too. And Theresa's like "There, you've kissed a girl. Will you stop complaining now?"

– Steve hates silence, so Tess hums when she notices it gets too quiet. If he begins bouncing his knee out of habitual nervousness, she calmly places a hand on his thigh without even having to look at him.

– They both have a lot of PTSD, obviously. Tess is more open about it than Steve, who doesn't really recognize his trauma for what it is. The first time Theresa noticed Steve's PTSD was during Christmas, when he seemed to be staring off into space while she called his name many times. She then realized that it was because of the Christmas lights, so ever since then she's kept Christmas decorations to a minimum.

– Tess hates the beach, but Steve somehow still manages to convince her to go. She won't stay for more than a day though, and if she does she stays inside or on the balcony the whole time.
