I went inside my house and locked the door. I switched on the lights and went to my room to change into something comfortable.
After changing, I went downstairs to the kitchen to eat something. I opened the fridge and saw some bread, cheese and lettuce so I decided to make some sandwiches and pair it with a cup of hot chocolate. I made my dinner and went to the living room. I switched on the T.V and relaxed because I feel that this case and all had drained me out so I needed my time to rejuvenate.
I ate my dinner and was watching a rom com movie when I noticed that it was almost 12:00 pm now.
"Oh my god. I should go to bed now" I said to myself realizing that if I didn't sleep now, then it will be difficult for me to wake up early tomorrow. I went to my room and laid on my bed. I was about to switch off the lights when my phone rang.
"Who could be calling me this late?" I said and answered the call
"Hello" I said but there was no response from the other side
"Hello....who is speaking?" I asked again but all I got was drop dead silence. I furiously cut the call.
"Idiot" I said and switched of the lights.
*Bang! Thud!*
I instantly woke up from my sleep. My heart was pounding against my chest as the voice was loud. I checked the time and it was 3:00 am.
I slowly got up from my bed and went near the window to see who was there as the sound came from the front yard. There was no one but my pots laid there broken.
I quickly went downstairs and opened the main door. I stood there figuring out the weirdo who had done it. I saw no one and after a while went inside.
"What is happening" I murmured while laying on my bed
I fell asleep after a while of thinking and reasoning.
*the next morning*
"Hey guys" I said as I entered the office
"Hello" Teera said smiling
I sat on my chair and started to massage my temples.
"Are you okay" Zian asked
"Oh yes...couldn't sleep well last night" I said
"Why?" Teera asked
"Uhh...someone called me last night and when I picked it up, there was no response and in the middle of the night, someone broke my pots" I said
"That's weird" Zian said
"Yes it's indeed eerie because...." Teera stopped looking shocked
"Because?" I said
"Uh...I don't know how to say it but I also got that call and when I picked it up, no one responded" Teera said tensely
"What!"
