Chapter Eight: [Edited]
Chapter Eight
Once arriving at Mr. and Mrs. Ann's house, Mason and Camilla steps onto the porch and Mason knocks on the door. Mason and Camilla hear footsteps approaching and they hear the door opening and Mrs. Ann says, "can I help you?" Mason says, "hi Mrs. Ann, I'm Special Agent Mason Connor and this is my partner agent Camilla Black and we're from the FBI," says Mason showing his FBI badge.
"Oh yeah. What's this about?" wondered Mrs. Ann.
"We wanted to talk to you and your husband about what your daughter Beverly Ann's relationship is like with David Lois," says Mason.
"I'm sorry, I'm not comfortable talking about that," says Mrs. Ann.
"Please Mrs. Ann. We are trying to find out why David Lois killed his victims including your daughter," says Mason, sighing.
Mrs. Ann sighs and she looks at her husband after turning around then looking back at Mason and Camilla. Mrs. Anne sighs. "All right. Come on in," says Mrs. Ann while stepping aside, and keeping the door open.
"Thank you," says Mason, while walking into Mrs. Ann's home.
Camilla walked behind Mason, also entering Mrs. Ann's home. Mrs. Ann shuts the door. "Jim!" shouted Mrs. Ann. "Honey? I have someone here who wants to talk to you," shouted Mrs. Ann, once again.
Until Mr. Ann walks into the living room and says, "who are these people, honey?" then proceeds to walk up to Mrs. Ann. Once he stopped walking and stood by Mrs. Ann, and Mrs. Ann says, "honey, these guys are from the FBI," says Mrs. Ann.
"Can I help you with something?" says Mr. Ann.
"Um yes. We wanted to talk to you and your wife about your daughter, Beverly Ann," says Mason.
Mr. Ann takes a deep breath and clears his throat. "Why's that?" says Mr. Ann while crossing his arms.
"Um. We are currently interviewing Mr. David Lois. He's the one who...." Mason is interrupted by Mr. Ann. "Yeah, I know who he is. That guy killed my daughter," says Mr. Ann, furiously.
Mason swallows nervously. "Yes sir. I just wanted to know what Beverly's relationship was like with David Lois?" says Mason. Mr. Anne swallowed before he continued to talk.
"Well, they were neighbors," says Mrs. Ann.
"Honey? Let me talk to them," says Mr. Ann.
Mrs. Ann nods her head and she walks into the kitchen. Mason and Camilla watched Mrs. Ann walks to the kitchen. They look back at Mr. Ann. "You'd had no right to come into my home like this," says Mr. Ann, uncrossing his arms. "I'm sorry sir, but this is really important. We'd just need to know what exactly happened to Beverly Ann the night she was killed," says Mason.
"I'd thought the police had all the information on her death," says Mr. Ann.
"Sir, please," says Mason.
"Yeah, sit," says Mr. Ann. Mason, Camilla and Mr. Ann all sat down in the living room.
"How did Beverly Ann know David Lois?" says Mason.
"They used to hang out all the time," says Mr. Ann.
"Did Beverly Ann go to college at the time she was murdered?" says Mason.
"Yeah. She was eighteen. Unfortunately her body was found in the forest," says Mr. Ann.
Mason nods his head. "Um, was Beverly Ann a fashion model? She used to attend fashion shows?" says Mason.
"Yeah. That was her side job and she would attend fashion shows on weekends. She was trying to make a living out of it. I don't like what she was doing. It worried me," says Mr. Ann.
"How so, Mr. Ann?" says Mason.
"She was being stalked on Facebook. Unfortunately it was David Lois. My daughter Beverly posted inappropriate pictures on her Facebook account. David then wrote on her timeline that Beverly looked beautiful to him," says Mr. Ann.
"Was Beverly living on her own at the time?" asked Mason.
"Yeah. She wanted to live on her own while attending college. Then, it all started to go downhill with Beverly and her friendship with David," says Mr. Ann.
"What happened?" wondered Mason.
"David unfortunately took pictures of her and then the next thing I knew the police came to our house and told us they'd found Beverly's body in a forest. They'd said that Beverly was dead. I had a bad feeling about him. From the moment I met him, I had a bad feeling that David was a bad person. Until he took the life of my own daughter. It's been harder on my wife. Her and Beverly were very close," says Mr. Ann.
"I'm really sorry, Mr. Ann," says Mason, softly speaking.
Mr. Ann nods his head as he understands. Mason doesn't say another word about Beverly's death to Mr. Ann. Eventually Mason and Camilla left Mr. and Mrs. Ann's home. They're headed to the hotel to spend the night in New York. They flew back to Quantico the very next day.
