Graeme's POV

Bliss's studio is amazing! It's on a floor by itself. There are also several dressing rooms. Stadium seating was set up for the interview.

Bliss, Raquel, and Raeni were the first to come out of the dressing rooms. And, it looks like Jordan is coming too.

"Uh, I have an extra kid with me."

"That's okay, Bliss. The first row of seats is for the kids. The second row is for you, Layla, and Kam. The extra chairs in the row are for Shane, Cris, and Ryan."

"Okay. We'll sit in the middle. Raquel and Raeni, take a seat in the front row."

Once Bliss sat in her seat, the twins sat in front of her. Kam and Layla came out of their dressing rooms and joined us on the set.

"Layla and Kam, you guys can sit in the row with Bliss. And, the kids will sit in front of you."

"Okay. Thanks, Graeme." Kam and Layla took their seats, and the kids followed.

"Everybody, take a deep breath. And, don't worry about being nervous. You got this."

The cameras began filming.

"Good evening, everyone. Welcome to a special edition of The Limelight Entertainment show. I'm actor Graeme Harrison, and I will be hosting a special show for you this evening - 'Friends With Twins.' Ladies and gentlemen, sitting before me are three of my good friends - Bliss Landes, Kamea Fiore, and Layla Meyers. These wonderful ladies are the best of friends. And they each have twins. Thank you, Bliss, Layla, and Kam, for doing the interview tonight. The first question I have for you is, how did you all come to know each other?"

Kam - "Layla and I at one point lived in Maryland. Then, Layla's family moved to New York, and my family moved to California."

Layla - "Bliss and I met each other in high school while in New York. We were friends for years, but we lost touch with each other after high school."

Bliss - "We did. I missed Layla a lot, and I always wondered how she was doing. Back in 2018, I met one of my husband's best friends. Well, now he is my husband. At that time, I was highly independent. Anyway, Shane introduced me to Cris. Cris mentioned his wife was pregnant, and they were having a baby shower for her. Cris also mentioned Kam's best friend, which was Layla. Layla was pregnant as well. Needless to say that I attended the baby shower for Layla and Kam. Layla, Kam, and I have been inseparable since the baby shower."

"I have known you, ladies, for years and can see it with my own eyes. Kam, Layla, and Bliss, one would think you ladies are sisters by how much love you have for each other. The bond you have with one another is unbreakable."

Kam - "You're right. The three of us treat each other as sisters. When something happens to us, we come together and support one another. The kids call each of us their aunt. We are that close. When Layla and Bliss moved to Florida, I was the happiest girl in the world. I have my girls with me. We have a bond that no one will ever break."

"That is wonderful. Now ladies, each of you has twins. Kam, you have three sets of twins. What was it like when you ladies found out you were pregnant with twins? Let's start with Kam."

Kam - "When my husband and I met, Cris already had a set of twins, which are Dia and Rocco. They were the most adorable kids that I have ever met. I have watched them grow into amazing teens. Twins run in my husband's family. So when I found out I was pregnant with Isabella and Kekoa, I wasn't surprised. Then, in 2021, I gave birth to my youngest twins, Gabriella and Angelo. That was the surprise. We have another child, Devin. We adopted Devin when he was young, so we have a total of seven kids. Cris and I love our children equally."

Bliss - "My husband and I had our first child, Shane Jr, back in 2022. Then, on our anniversary in February of 2023, I surprised Shane with the news that I was pregnant with twins. We were both surprised because twins don't run in our families. In March of that year, we found out that our twins were girls. My girls have different birthdates. Raquel was born at 11:25 pm. Raeni was born at 12:01 am the next day. In 2024, we adopted Pilar. Pilar and I instantly bonded. We did not want to see her go from foster home to foster home. I was going to do everything to make sure she would become my daughter. I love her so much. And this cutie pie in my lap is my baby, Jordan. Jordan will be two in January."

Jordan waved his hand to me. That's probably going to be a highlight of the show. Too adorable.

Layla - "I had three kids before my twins - Braelyn, Logan, and Natasha. In July of 2023, I found out I was pregnant. I remember both Kam and Bliss saying, 'What if I was pregnant with twins?' I laughed at both of them. In September, my husband and I found out I was pregnant with twins. We both chuckled because Bliss and Kam were right. My boys, Dakota and Dalton, will turn four in January. Like Bliss, I have five kids."

"How do you ladies, along with Cris, Shane, and Ryan, manage your time with your families? Layla?"

Layla - "With plenty of help from our parents. Ryan and I both work during the day, so our parents help us by picking up the kids from school. Evening time is family time for us. Sometimes, we even take days off from our stressful jobs to spend time with our kids. And, we make sure to spend equal time with them."

"Bliss, how about you and Shane?"

Bliss - "I have the best in-laws a girl could have. Shane's parents are a joy to be around. Adrian and Brently take Shane and Pilar to school and pick them up. Also, my parents take turns with Adrian and Brently to pick up our kids. Shane and I love our parents so much for their support. Shane and I are both fortunate to work from home. That way, we can take care of the twins and Jordan. We also have stressful jobs and take off to spend time with the kids. Even though the kids are all under the age of six, they are very protective of each other. Shane and I are so proud of them."

"Kam, how about you and Cris?" Dakota, Dalton, Raquel, and Raeni were squirming in their chairs, so I waved over my assistant. She gave the kids toys to play with to keep them occupied.

Kam - "Like Layla and Bliss, plenty of family support. My dad does it all - takes the kids to school and picks them up, does puppet shows for my daycare, fixes dinner for us, and does so much for me. And my sister too. I'm a stay-at-home mom so that I can run my daycare center. My husband works from home too. We love our kids to pieces. We spend quality time with each of them, and we just have so much fun together."

"You sure do. Layla, Kami, and Bliss, you go above and beyond not only for your families but for your friends and communities. I really am amazed and privileged to know you all. Keep doing what you are doing."

Bliss - "Thanks, Graeme. That's the only way we know. Sure, there are days we may feel tired and want time for ourselves, but we brush it to the side because we love our friends and families."

"We have a special surprise for you. Shane, Cris, and Ryan, please join us. And, bring the kids with you."

The guys came out of the dressing rooms and sat next to their wives. Pilar and Shane sat with Shane. Cris stood next to Kam so Devin could sit down. Braelyn sat Dakota on her lap. Natasha sat with Layla, and Logan sat with Ryan.

"Shane, Cris, and Ryan, if you could use one word to describe your wives, what would it be?"

Cris - "I would say fighter, and I don't mean like she is a boxer. But, ever since we've been together, Kamea will fight with all of her might to protect her family. Layla and Bliss are the say way. Shane, Ryan, and I are truly privileged to have these ladies as our wives."

Cris had Kam in tears. "Shane, what word describes Bliss?"

Shane - "Dedicated is the word I would use for Bliss. Three of our kids have major health issues. Bliss keeps folders and lists of what each of our kids needs so they can be as healthy as they can. At times I have to force her to take a break because she is that dedicated. I don't know what I would do without her."

Shane had Bliss in tears as he kissed her cheek. "Ryan, what word describes Layla?"

Ryan - "Amazing. Layla is one of the most amazing women that I know. Our kids are at different stages of their lives. Layla not only makes sure we do age-appropriate activities with the kids, but we also do activities together as a family. Just like Shane, I have to remind Layla to take some time for herself because she deserves it."

"One more question. This one is for the kids. What do you guys love the most about your moms?"

Little Shane raised his hand. "Shane?"

Shane Jr. - "My mummy makes sure that we are safe. When she is sad, it makes me sad too. And, she makes my daddy eats his veggies so he can be strong like me."

Junior had us all laughing when he said that. Bliss gave little Shane a high-five and kissed his cheek. Braelyn went next.

Braelyn - "My mom is the most important person in my life. She means the world to me. And, if anything ever happened to her, I would be lost. We may not always agree with everything, but she makes sure me and my siblings make the best decisions that will benefit us. Each of the kids here is her kids. That's how much she cares about everyone. Aunt Bliss and Kam are the same way. I hope my friendship with Dia is the same way as my mom, Aunt Bliss, and Aunt Kam."

Dia went next.

Dia - "My brother and I never associate the word stepmom with our mom. She is our mom, period. No one is perfect, but our mom is close to it. I know it's a lot of work, taking care of seven kids. Not for our mom. Nope. She spends quality time with each of us. We love her so much and think the world of her. She is our mom - always and forever."

Rocco - "I agree with Dia. Nobody will ever take our mom away from us."

Isabella raised her hand too.

Isabella - "I love my mama because she does so much for us."

Layla said Natasha is shy, but she raised her hand.

Natasha - "I love my mama too. She lets me help bake cookies. We have so much fun together."

Layla - "We sure do. I love baking time with Natasha."

Layla kissed her cheek. Raquel raised her hand.

Raquel - "My mummy got us this pretty dress."

"It sure is pretty. Everyone looks amazing. Before we end the show, we have one more surprise for you. I spoke with Shane, Cris, and Ryan about this one. Kam, Bliss, and Layla prepare to be spoiled. You ladies are going on an all-expenses-paid trip to Chateau Resorts and Spa in St. Lucia. You'll be staying in St. Lucia for a week, beginning Saturday. Thank you so much for doing the interview. The cameras stopped filming.

Layla's POV

"Layla, you, Bliss, and Kam are going to love the resort. Janiyah and I have gone there several times. The views are amazing," Graeme mentions.

"Thanks, Graeme. This interview is the highlight of this year. I loved it, and I love all of you."

Kam's POV

"I love you all too. My favorite part was the kids. I didn't stop crying until now."

Bliss's POV

"And, Jordan sat still the whole time. I love you all too. Graeme, you did a great job. How did you guys talk to Graeme about the trip?"

"Let's go get something to eat. I'm sure the kids are ready to eat," Shane says.

"You were a good boy, Jordan. High five." I gave my baby boy a high-five then kissed his cheeks. We all followed Shane out of the studio.

"No offense, but you, Layla, and Kam are nosey. To answer your question, Cris and Ryan stopped by my office. Then, I called Graeme, and we had a video conference. We saw how you, Layla, and Kam brushed aside your quiet time to take care of the kids. Not only that but, put our needs before yours. Graeme suggested the spa in St. Lucia. You ladies deserve this trip. Jimmy is going to fly you to St. Lucia this Saturday. Shemar and Gianni are going with you too. Don't worry about us. We'll be fine."

"We're only nosey when you guys are talking about us. Oh, I'm not worried, Shane. I know you'll do a great job. You're just as dedicated as I am. And, you're an amazing dad." I kissed Shane's cheek.

"It was so cute when Jordan waved his hand to Graeme," my mom said.

"It sure was. I was surprised that Jordan did it. He didn't get fussy at all."

"Shane, do you really not like veggies?" Griffin asked him.

"No, I don't. My little twin was correct. Bliss can be very persuasive when it comes to veggies."

"I sure am." Shane doesn't know I put them in smoothies and some desserts too. Hehe.

"I'm excited for the trip to St. Lucia, but we'll miss spending time with everyone."

"Aww, Bliss. We'll miss you too. Graeme was right about the spa. You're going to love it. February will be here sooner than you know. We'll have two wonderful weeks without our husbands," Janiyah said as Graeme cut a grin at her.

"I'm looking forward to February too. The dean of my University already approved my time off. Yes!" Sophia says.

"I'm not going to cut a grin because you all deserve a break," Griffin says as he kisses Sophia's cheek.

Jordan fell asleep in Tatianna's arms. "Tati, let me know when your arm gets tired of holding Jordan."

"I'm okay, Bliss."

"Well, family, we are going to leave now. Dakota and Dalton are getting sleepy. Natasha and Logan, give everyone a goodnight hug."

Layla, Ryan, and the kids hugged everyone at the table. They then left Kalani's restaurant.

"We should be leaving too, Shane. Look at Raquel, Raeni, Jacee, and Graeme. Pilar and Shane are sleepy too." Little Graeme was knocked out in Janiyah's arms.

"You all can ride in the limo. I'll take Jordan, Pilar, and Shane with me."

"Raquel and Raeni, give your Nanas and grandpas a hug. We're going home now."

The twins hugged everyone, including Kalani and Salomé. Jacee hugged everyone too. Everyone then started leaving the restaurant. I'm tired myself.

Saturday, December 25th, 2027

12:00 pm

Kam's POV

Shane's plane was already in position on the runway for takeoff. Our caravan of SUVs parked near the plane. Cris unloaded my luggage while I went over to Layla and Bliss.

"I couldn't sleep at all last night because of how excited I was."

"Me too, Kam. Tatianna, Sophia, and Janiyah stayed up with me. We chatted for hours. As soon as we are in the air, I am going right to sleep."

"Me too. I couldn't sleep either. Where are the kids, Bliss?"

"They are on the plane with Jimmy and Marsha. They like to sit in the captain's seat and pretend to fly the plane. Jordan does too."

"Dakota, Dalton, Logan, and Natasha went too. I believe Jacee and Little Graeme went too," Layla said also.

"Speaking of the kids, here they come with Shane and Graeme."

"Mummy! Mummy! I got to sit in the captain's seat!" Little Shane said as he ran over to Bliss.

"You did? Did daddy take a picture?"

"Daddy, show mummy the picture."

Shane took his phone out of his pants pocket and scrolled to the picture. He then passed us his phone.

"Shane, you look cute with the captain's hat on."

"Thank you, Aunt Kam."

"Jimmy has the all-clear to takeoff, ladies. Have a safe flight and trip."

"Thanks, Shane." Layla, Bliss, and I hugged everyone that came to send us off.

"I'm glad Jordan fell asleep," Bliss said as we walked up the plane stairs.

We took our seats as Shane's flight attendant closed the door. The large caravan of SUVs pulled away from the plane.

After we put our seat belts on, Jimmy started the plane. About 5 minutes later, we were on our way to St. Lucia.
