Saturday, December 25th, 2027

Bliss's POV

"Bliss, Marsha, and Jimmy want everyone to buckle up. The plane will be landing in St. Lucia in 15 minutes."

"Thank you, Michael."

Layla, Kam, and I buckled up. Since it was a short plane ride, I didn't fall asleep. But, when we make it to our suite, I'm crashing on the bed.

The plane landed safely. About 5 minutes later, I got a text from Shane. He said a Range Rover SUV should be coming shortly. Sure enough, we saw two vehicles coming our way, and one was a Range Rover. I texted Shane back with kiss emojis. He texted back with a kiss emoji and, said have a good trip.

Michael opened the plane door.

"Bliss, Shemar, and I will get your luggage for everyone."

"Thank you, Gianni." Layla, Kam, and I descended off the plane.

"Mrs. Bliss Landes?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Here are the keys to the Range Rover. Your husband wasn't sure how many vehicles to rent for you. He told me if you needed more to let us know. Here is a company card with the telephone number. My name is Richard. I can take you to your resort."

Richard handed me the keys and card. Shemar and Gianni loaded our luggage in the Range Rover. Then, we took our seats and followed Richard to our resort.

While checking in at the lobby desk, my stomach felt nauseous. Once the receptionist gave us our keys, we followed the bellhop onto the elevator. He pressed the button for the top floor.

It was a short ride to our floor. Once we stepped off the elevator, we followed the bellhop to our room. There are two rooms on the floor.

Layla opened the door with her key, and our mouths dropped.

"Layla and Bliss, look at the views of the ocean!" Kam says as she walked over to the balcony.

I gave the bellhop a tip after he unloaded our luggage off a cart. Layla and I then joined Kam on the balcony.

"The views are amazing!"

"Bliss, our rooms are across the hallway. Text me when you all are ready to go on tours."

"Thanks, Shemar. And, we have two floors. The bedrooms are probably upstairs. Ladies, I'm going to lay down. I'm not feeling so good."

"Sorry, Bliss. Go ahead and choose your room. We'll check on you."

"Thanks, Kam."

I left the balcony and went upstairs. I took the first room I saw. I was even more amazed at the size of the room. It was massive. I plopped on the bed and went to sleep.

Kami's POV

"I better text Cris that we are here."

"I better do the same thing with Ryan. As a matter of fact, I'm going to take a nap, like Bliss."

"Me too, after I text Cris." Layla and I walked up the stairs to our rooms. When I opened the doors, I was amazed again. The bedroom is massive in size, and it looks like a king-size bed. Yes! I have it all to myself. I'm going to love this week.

8:00 pm

"Let's go out to eat tonight. I'll go check on Bliss."

I walked up the stairs to Bliss's room. I knocked first, then entered.

"Sis, are you okay? We were going out to eat."

"I can't shake this nauseating feeling in my stomach. I'm going to order some tea and see if the restaurant has chicken noodle soup or something."

"Aww, I'm sorry, Bliss. We'll stay with you tonight."

"You guys don't have to stay with me. I don't want you to miss out on a great time."

"Girl, that's nonsense talk. We still have six more days to have a great time. Can you make it downstairs?"

"Yeah, I can."

"Okay. Layla and I will get changed, and we can have a movie night. How about tomorrow we go to the spa?"

"That sounds like a plan. Thanks, Kami. I love you guys."

"We love you too. Let's meet up downstairs."

"Okay."

After leaving Bliss's room, I sure did run down the stairs to Layla.

"Layla! Layla! Call me crazy, but I believe Bliss may be pregnant."

"No way! What makes you think that?"

"Yes, way. The last few times we've been together, I noticed Bliss's eating habits have changed. And, on the plane, she had frequent bathroom trips. Even when we went to my dad's restaurant after the interview, Bliss went to the bathroom quite often. I caught her rubbing her belly too. We're going to stay in tonight. I'm going to get changed, and we'll order room service."

"Okay. I'll get changed too."

Layla and I walked up the stairs and to our rooms. I put my hair in a ponytail and changed into my pajamas. On my way downstairs, I saw Layla and Bliss.

"Hey, Bliss, what kind of tea do you like? I saw a cabinet with a variety of tea and coffee in the kitchen. I'll make you some."

"My favorite is ginger green tea."

"Okay. Layla, you want some too?"

"Tea sounds great."

"Okay. Three cups of tea coming up." While walking into the kitchen, I thought of a way to see if Bliss is pregnant. But that will wait until the morning.

"I have three cups of hot tea for us. I didn't know what you like to put in your tea, so I brought sugar and found some Splenda too."

I sat the tray on the coffee table in the living room.

"Thanks, Kami. What would you ladies like to eat? The room service menu is like a book. There is a variety of cuisines including American, Italian, Caribbean, Spanish, Hawaiian, etc."

"Let's order a little bit of each one. We'll make sure it is Diabetic-friendly and no seafood, of course," Layla says.

"Great minds think alike. Let's do this."

Cris' POV

"Papa, I miss mama already."

"Bella, mama is taking a well-deserved vacation. For this week, it will be just the six of us. It's your Winter break, so what would you like to do?"

"Go visit mama."

I knew this would be tough on Isabella and Gabby. They are mama's girls.

"How about we all go out to eat at your favorite restaurant tonight? Then, tomorrow we'll invite Ryan and the kids over for pizza."

"Okay, papa."

Sunday, December 26th, 2027

I woke up early to make plenty of crusts for pizza. My kids eat pizza like it's going out of style. Rocco and Devin are helping me make them today.

"Okay, I'll show you how to put the sauce on the crust. Then, we'll layer the cheese over the sauce."

After putting sauce in the ladle, I put it on the crusts. Rocco and Devin put their sauce on their crusts.

"Good job, boys. Now, sprinkle your cheese. I know you guys love extra cheese, so put as much as you would like."

Devin and Rocco gave each other a high-five, then put a boatload of cheese on their crusts. It's a good thing I bought plenty of cheese because we have more pizzas to make.

"Now, the next step is the toppings, which we have plenty of before us. You both can make the pepperoni pizzas. I'll make the cheese and veggie pizzas."

"Okay. Thanks, dad. This is fun."

"You're welcome, Devin. And, you're right. It is fun to make pizzas together. We should do this more often. Next time, we'll include everyone. We can then make personal pizzas. I'll put them in the oven once you are finished. You can then take a break."

"Thanks, dad."

Bliss's POV

"Bliss, that was so adorable," Layla said as she and Kam walked into the living room after I finished talking to Shane and the kids.

"You should have seen Jordan try to blow a kiss. I can't believe my baby boy is going to be two next month."

Kam said next, "Speaking of baby, Bliss, are you okay? You are a coffee drinker like Layla. But you didn't drink your coffee with breakfast this morning. Plus, yesterday, Bliss, you seemed fatigued and nauseous. Could you be, um, you know?"

"Pregnant?"

"I've noticed changes over the past few weeks - frequent trips to the bathroom, fatigue, yesterday you were nauseous, etc."

"Oh my gosh. There's only one way to find out. I need a pregnancy test."

"Before we go to the spa, let's ask the receptionist at the lobby desk where we can find a pharmacy or drug store. Maybe there is a Walmart somewhere too."

"Okay. Let's get going."

"I can't believe I threw up at the spa. Kami, I think you're right. It seemed like every scent in the spa irritated me. Why couldn't I see the signs?"

"Bliss, you didn't know where the bathroom was. The staff was sympathetic. It happens. I must be like my mom because she said the same thing when I was preggers with Bella and Kekoa. But go ahead and try the test. Layla and I will be here for you."

"Thanks."

I felt the urge to pee anyway, so I carried the test with me into the bathroom. The pharmacist was very helpful and told me which test was best. The one I bought is digital and even has a cup inside the box. So, I took the cup out, and well, you know what happened next.

After that, I put the stick in the cup for about 15 seconds. Then, I grabbed some paper towels and placed the stick on it.

I set the timer on my phone and left the bathroom because watching it wouldn't get the results any faster. Layla and Kam were standing by the bathroom door.

Kami asked, "Anything yet? I started a pot of water for some tea."

"I have to wait a few minutes. I didn't want to stand there and wait for it. The timer on my phone will go off soon. I'm going to find a doctor here so that I can confirm it."

"Okay. We're in this together."

I gave both Layla and Kam a hug. We walked to the kitchen. The water was boiling, so we grabbed some mugs and poured the water. By the time we grabbed some tea bags, the timer went off.

Kam and Layla followed me back to the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and left the door open. I picked up the stick and walked towards Kam and Layla.

I closed my eyes first, then opened them to look at the stick. "Well, it looks like another Landes kid is on the way."
