A few minutes of driving, we finally reached the park. I place the car on park and turned off the engine. I looked to my side and saw a worried Y/n, staring at the park.

"Hey? You okay?"

Y/n looked at me, startled at first but then relaxed. She nodded and gave me a small smile.

"Mhm. I feel a bit better now." She said in relief. 

I nodded and grabbed the picnic basket, head out of the car and went to Y/n's side to open her door. She giggles and proceeds to exit the car. There's that beautiful smile.

"Chivalry." She said as I closed the door.

"Every woman must be treated right baby sis. Even a troublemaker like you." I joked and she playfully punched me.

"That's..funny yet mean." She said laughing.

I locked the car and we went to a spot under a tree. I set up the blanket and she immediately lays down.

"The park's nice." She said, looking at the sky.

"Well, we used to hang out a lot here during our highschool years." I said placing food on the blanket.

"We did?" She asked, looking at me.

"Uh yeah. It was awesome. We'd play games and lay here with mommy. Sometimes it was the family together." I explained.

"Why can't I remember any of that?" She asked, now sitting up and tilting her head.

I stopped and looked at her. 

"Uhh you have bad memory." I blurt out.

She didn't seem convinced and pressed further. Typical Y/n.

"I'm sure I didn't have that kind of memory." She stressed.

I quickly took her favorite food and handed it to her.

"Here." 

She gasped, "Gargar! You got (favorite food). Yes!" 

She gobbled it in happiness. Her smile was as light as ever. She was genuinely happy. Suddenly, buzzing was felt in my pockets. I took my phone out and saw Zane calling.  I looked at Y/n enjoying her food.

"I'm going to take this baby sis." I said, raising my phone so that she can see who the caller was.

She nodded happily and I smiled at her. I quickly stood up and moved a safe distance from her but it is enough to watch her.

I then tapped on my phone and placed my phone near my ear.

"GARROTH!" Zane's voice roared.

"What happened?! Where's Y/n?!" Zane yelled causing me to move the phone back a little.

"Okay okay calm down! Y/n's fine. She's with me at the park." I explained, slowly putting the phone close to me to hear better.

"Which park? Is she injured? Why are you at the park? And most importantly, WHY DID YOU LEAVE GLASS ALL OVER THE KITCHEN!?" He screamed.

"I-I'll tell you when we get back home, baby brother. Right now, Y/n's happy and it must stay that way before-"

"Before what?" I overheard Vylad ask.

That was then I realized that I was on speaker.

"I can't tell you now. I'll explain later okay? We're at the park near our old school, Phoenix Drop High." I said.

"We'll be there after we clean your mess up." Zane grumbled.

The call ended and I saw Y/n staring at a distance. I walked towards her and sat on the picnic blanket. She looked at me with a small calm smile on her face.

"So who was big brother??" She asked.

"It was Zane and Vylad. They're coming right here."

"Oh." She said in a sad tone.

"What's wrong?"

"I just thought it was us two together having a brotherly sister bond thing." She said looking at the grass.

She plucks a few grass in her hands and then throws it almost upset.

"We are. It's just they wanted to see you."

"Yeah they always do..." She said.

"I never get to hang out with you 'cause you're always with mom and dad. I always get to spend time with them but not much with you."

I somehow felt deja vu.

~Flashback~

"Come on Garroth!" Y/n said pulling me.

"I-I have to go Y/n. I'm very busy."

"You're such a jerk sometimes." She blurted.

This took me aback.

"Wh-what do you mean a j-jerk? I'm nice!" I said.

"You're always so busy! I never get to hang out with you anymore. Sure Zane and Vylad around keeping me company but I never get to spend time with you because you're either with the jocks and cheerleaders... Always too busy for your sister...." Y/n said in a sad tone.

"We'll why don't we hang out now? Ehehehe" I said, guilt laced in my voiced.

"Nevermind Garroth..see you at home."

"I.."

~end of flashback~

I shook my head and looked back at Y/n. She was hugging her knees looking at the other people at the park, clearly upset.

"Oh fine. Let's go pack up and head somewhere you like. How's that sound?" I said trying to cheer her up.

She looked at me with joy but then her smile disappeared.

"What about Zane and Vylad? Won't they get upset if we're not here?" She asked concerned.

"Oh they'll be fine. Come on let's go quickly before they arrive!"

I quickly pack up the picnic and Y/n helped. We rushed to the car and placed the basket in the back.

"Fasten your seatbelt, Y/n. Just or safety measures." I said and Y/n quickly complied.

"So? Where to, baby sister?"

"Hot topic! I want to look for new clothes." She said confidently.

"Uhhh didn't mommy and daddy bought you clothes?"

She looks at me with a smirk on her face. Oh no.

"It's not for me silly. It's for the girls!" She said.

"Oh? Alright. Let's go."

A few minutes passed, Y/n and I were already in Hot Topic. She started picking out clothes while I watched her. She pulled out something green and something flashy. I don't know. She's weird.

"Hehehe they'll never see this coming." I overheard her.

Soon, my phone started to buzz. I took it and saw Zane's caller ID.

"No!"

My phone was snatched right out of my hands.

"Nooooo. Don't answer it.." Y/n said as she turned off my phone.

"You'll ruin the surprise." She said while pouting.

I chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"Ey!"

She placed her hair back into place. I laughed.

"Go do your thing, baby sister." I said shooing her away.

Soon, Y/n got what she wanted and checked out the clothes using a black card mommy gave her a while back. She handed me bags to carry as she had some as well.

"So where next?"

Her eyes sparkled looking at me.

"Oohh! How about to the carnival? Or or to the beach? Or to Olive Garden!"

She was thinking of all the places we could go to and have fun.

"Oh wait! The arcade! Yeah! Let's go there and do that game where we dance together and see who wins." She said.

I nodded.

" But first, we need to go to the car and leave these there." I said motioning to the bags of clothes.

"Oh sure!" She happily agreed.

We walked back to the car and placed all her bags in there. We then drove off to the arcade.

"Ack! I can finally play with you in the arcade!" She said running inside the arcade.

I laughed at her antics and followed her in. She was standing in the middle of the arcade,looking at everything around her.

"Wow! I'll find the game and you get the card to play games."

"But-"

"And she ran off" I sighed.

She sure can be tiring. I don't even know how this girl has bursts of energy every now and then.

I quickly went to the desk and paid for the card. I went searching for the dance game and saw it. Y/n was already on it, waiting for me. I stepped on my side of the dance floor and she was excited. I gave her the card and she swiped it immediately and picked out a song.

"I'll beat you, big brother."she said smiling.

" Oho. I know every song on this game. Let's see who will win
We began dancing and dancing. I was sure to try my best but it seemed like Y/n was struggling. Round 1 was won by me and Y/n had a determined look on her face.

"Losing (embarrassing nickname)?"

"Oh it's on, sandman." She said.

She began dancing and perfecting each step.

"What the?"

I keep up with her as best I can. I focused on the game, missing a few beats here and there. She won round too. Y/n sticks her tongue out and then smiles at me.

"Final round, Gargar. Loser obeys what the winner wants for a day." She proposed.

"Hmm. Deal!"

"Round 3" The machine said.

The music began playing.and both Y/n I were in sync.

"Hah!" Y/n said mid way.

We both kept on dancing and soon attracted people to come and watch. I danced and danced until my legs felt tired. I was clearly slowing down but I did not give up.

"Come on grandpa" Y/n said.

That sent the crowd laughing and I do not want to be embarrassed.

"Come on Garroth, do your best atleast." I heard someone say.

I know that voice. I hear his laugh and knew right away who it was.

"Stay out of this, Gene." I said catching up with Y/n.

"Hehe. You're slowing down." He taunted.

I didn't reply. I focused all my energy into winning. They will not make me look like a fool.

I danced and danced until my body started losing energy.

"WINNER!"

I collapse to my knees and so did Y/n. The crowd started cheering. I was out of breath. I slowly looked up, my vision not too clear from the tiredness I felt.

"Y/n?"

I heard her heavy breaths. I see her shoes as she stands up and I tried to focus my vision on the screen. My eyes widened at the result.

"I lost."

"YES I WON!" Y/N said jumping in joy.

"Welp. Seems like Garroth is removed from his throne." Gene said.

I turned around to look at him and then to Y/n. She was so happy. I brought her down from the platform and she was as happy as ever!

"I'm so happy for you big brother!" She said.

Suddenly, I was engulfed in a tigh hug.

"Oohh I'm so happy you did this for me and we get to hang out." She said, nuzzling her head on my shoulder.

She quickly parts from me and I laugh.

"It's good to see you smiling." I chuckled.

"Hey!"

Our attention was now at a black haired man with blue eyes and black shirt.

"Gene."

I quickly stepped in front of Y/n and cover her.

"You two should be fighting!" He yelled.

I looked at Y/n and then at Gene, stepping forward as I do so.

"What do you mean?"

He crosses his arms and scoffs.

"I was up to see a brawl with shortcake here knowing she has a short fuse." Gene said leaning a bit to look at Y/n.

"I'm not that short!" She shouted.

She quickly walked up to Gene and faced him.

"Y/n?"

"Oh hello shortcake. Long time no see." Gene said with a smirk on his face.

I wanted to punch him and wipe that smirk off his face.

Out of nowhere, my eyes widened as  Y/n grabs Gene's collar, causing him to bend towards her a bit.

"Y-Y/n what are you doing?" I whispered-yelled.

"Listen here, Gene. I'm no shortcake. I'm a Ro'meave, got that?"

"Y/n!" I warned her.

I tried pulling on her and tried separating them but Y/n nor Gene would budge.

"Stay out of this, sandman."

Suddenly thrown back to the floor, causing me to yelp.

"Garroth!"

Y/n lets go of Gene and helps me up. I looked at him with anger in my eyes.

"What are you trying to prove, Gene?"

"Heh. You two are actual losers. Can't even stand up for yourself there, Gaayyyrooth." Gene teased.

"Go away!" Y/n said.

I suddenly felt eyes on us and realized that everyone's watching us.

"We're making a scene." I whispered to her.

She looks at me and nods. She looks at Gene one more time.

"Look Gene, I don't know if you're jealous of Garroth and I being the best siblings but this is no way to be petty and compare your relationship with your brother." Y/n said sternly.

"Oooohhh!"

Gene turned red of embarrassment.

"If you want to have this kind of relationship with your brother, then you better be nice." Y/n added.

Y/n pulled me out of the arcade. I looked back and saw Gene with a dark look on his face.

"Oh no."

~Y/n's POV~

I dragged Garroth out the door and into the car again.

"Unlock it now."

He didn't hesitate and did so. I get in the car and sit down, crossing my arms and huffing out a breath. Garroth gets in the driver's seat and I can tell he's looking at me.

"Are you okay?" He asks softly.

"THAT WAS AWESOME! AHHHHH! The whole dancing with you thing and then embarrassing Gene is amazing! Eek!"

I look at him feeling happiness shower over me.

"The adrenaline! Oh! I can't wait to roast more people soon!" I said, feeling so excited to do that again.

"You really are an interesting one." Garroth said chuckling.

"Oh shut up Garroth." I laughed.

"Alright where to little sister?" He said with the biggest smile on his face.

"Hmmm."
